You must build the farm at least 6 chunks away from land

Go upto Y=216 using sand or scaffolding

Now place down glass as shown and on the opposite corner place a dispenser

Place down solid blocks in the middle

Now make a 4 block high wall around the platform

Break the temporary block and place a piston on the side

Now place signs like so to hold in the lava source

Dig down 2 blocks

Then a redstone torch underneath
