We use the layering technique often when teaching pad holding to newer students. Instead of having to think and creating a break in between the strikes, the layering technique keeps the flow going and also helps the pad holder to build combinations and confidence. For the striker, you'll get to repeat and improve the strikes, and develop flow through the ranges and strikes. Connect with me on insta!
