По итогам обучения и успешного прохождения экзаменов ОФ СЛА планирует выдавать Российскую лицензию пилота воздушного судна соответствующей категории. По словам президента ОФ СЛА Александра Архиповского, у большого количества парапланеристов низкий уровень авиационной подготовки и систему когда пилот, только научившись летать самостоятельно, начинает учить другого, нужно подправить. Ознакомится с проектом можно на сайте объединённой федерации СЛА. Предложения и замечания приветствуются не только от членов федерации, но и от всех тех, кому небезразлична эта тема. Сертификация для таких пилотов с воздушными судами до 115 кг дело добровольное, но когда у тебя есть документ — не страшны проверки от государственных органов, можно оформлять страховку для полётов за пределами РФ. Да и согласитесь, учиться летать на параплане с аттестованным инструктором гораздо надежнее, чем просто с хорошим пилотом! === Авиация ДОСААФ в Забайкалье помимо уставных задач занимается авиалесоохраной, аэрофотосъёмками и другими авиационными работами. На жизнь здесь не жалуются. Материально-техническая база авиационно-спортивного клуба в хорошем состоянии. По словам председателя регионального отделения ДОСААФ России Забайкальского края, Читинский авиационно-спортивный клуб ДОСААФ третий год подряд зарабатывает больше всех в России. На Каштаке в ДОСААФ летает не только советская техника. Специально для ознакомительных полётов здесь купили Аэропракт А-22. Забайкальское региональное отделение ДОСААФ поддерживает хорошие отношения и с руководством края и со всеми авиаторами - и с военными, и с городским аэропортом, и с частными пилотами. ДОСААФовский аэродром Каштак работает как запасной для пассажирских регулярных авиарейсов Читинского аэропорта, выполняемых на Ан-2, ТВС-2МС и Л-410. Также это аэродром совместного базирования с частными пилотами, и все читинские авиаторы-частники настолько довольны, что даже и не думают о строительстве своей отдельной посадочной площадки. На Каштаке на момент выхода сюжета базировались 22 частных самолёта и 15 частных пилотов. ДОСААФ выделил частникам отдельную территорию, где они поставили себе 11 ангаров с интересной схемой – самолёты в них размещаются не по размаху крыла, а по длине, что существенно сказалось на цене. Все 11 ангаров заказали и построили одновременно, что так же удешевило застройку. Один из частных пилотов, базирующийся на Каштаке Леонид Кулеш установил два мировых рекорда. Первый, зарегистрированный в книге рекордов Гиннеса, к 100летию с начала осознанного выполнения штопора – 100 витков плоского штопора с высоты 2,5 километра и выходом на 500 метров. Скорость снижения у него была 10 метров в секунду, 2 секунды на один виток. Второй рекорд, установленный летом 20 года – 107 посадок за 60 минут, зарегистрирован в книге рекордов России и Леонид подал заявку в книгу рекордов Гиннеса. Но и этого ему показалось мало, и он решил построить самый маленький в мире моноплан «Сеня» с двигателем РМЗ-500. Длина "Сени" 285 сантиметров, размах крыла 185 сантиметров, площадь крыла всего 1 квадратный метр. Масса самолёта до 115 килограммов.
