In this, he is hindered by various enemies: the seals of the Topi (ト ッ ピ ー), the ravens Nitpicker (ニ ッ ト ピ ッ カ ー) and polar bears Polar Bear (ホ ワ イ ト ベ ア). There were differences in regional versions - in the North American and European versions there were completely different enemies: instead of fur seals there were small yeti, and instead of the condor in some levels - a large butterfly.
