Practice them with me in 2 positions in all 12 keys using this free play-along video tutorial! 💪💪💪 Before playing along with me, I will teach you two different ways to play the voicing, position 1 and 2, these are the most used inversions of this voicing. We will go through all the chords step by step. Then in the play-along part of this video, we practice all 12 keys beginning C major: ||: Dm7 G7 | Cmaj7 :| |. I play the progression twice, demonstrating you the voicing. Then it's your turn to play the progression twice. At the last Cmaj7, it's time to change keys: As we will go through all keys chromatically in DOWNwards movement, the next key will be B major. The IIminor7 chord in B is C#min. So we have to move UP to from the current I chord (Cmaj7) to the new key's IIminor7 chord (C#minor7) by a semitone. After completing the II-V-I in all keys in position 1, we repeat the procedure with position 2. I hope this play-along helps you practicing.
