In the previous video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ5OxNwBfGA), we created a helical spring shape geometry in SALOME and generated a mesh on it with tetrahedral elements. If you find SALOME interface and features not something you are familiar with, you can always go for other CAD options to create the geometry, and then bring it to SALOME to take the rest of the steps. In this video, we want to reproduce a similar shape in FreeCAD, an open-source all-in-one CAD solution, to show how the workflow would be if you use another program to create the geometry. Codes, models, and resources: In order to follow the videos and reproduce the output, you may want to use the ready codes and models instead of creating them from scratch using the instructions from previous videos.
