Here's a Thanksgiving Turkey from us to you! 🦃 The NBC Monday Night at the Movies presentation (aired in Chicago via WMAQ Channel 5) of the made-for-TV movie "Thanksgiving Day," starring Mary Tyler Moore with Jonathon Brandmeier (legendary Chicago radio personality "Johnny B"), Kelly Curtis, Andy Hirsch, Cal Gibson, Diane Robin, Sonny Bono (in his last film appearance), Morton Downey Jr. (one year after his infamous talk show went off the air; no relation to Robert Downey Jr.), Joe Bologna and Tony Curtis, in this tale of a dysfunctional upper-income Detroit area family who have all sorts of family and business problems come to a head on this day of days. Also featured are James Karen (for years the spokesperson for Pathmark supermarkets as seen in the New York metro area), Beverly Sanders, Robert V. Barron, Mindy Isenstein, Jon Steuer, Claudia Lonow, Laurence Haddon, Fran Ryan, Geri Betzler, Jean Hale, Dan Clark, Marty Zagon, Robert Rothwell, Gabe Bologna, John Pinette, Julie Bennett, Warren Thomas, Lawrence Wolf, Anita Mann, Marcie Warren, Scott Weintraub, Leta McCarty, Bobbie Bates, Hal Parks and Greg Proops. Most of the commercial breaks have been deleted from this recording (and a few seconds of the beginning of each segment may therefore be missing). For whatever bumpers are on this recording, all voiceovers are by Don Stanley.
