On April 10th, astronomers revealed the first ever photograph of a distant supermassive black hole, specifically showing the fabled "Event Horizon", the pitch-black structure beyond which nothing in the universe can escape it. This black hole is the god of a supergiant elliptical galaxy 5* bigger than the Milky Way, and is located over 50M light years away.
