Here you are another drum transcription for you 🤩 🥁 ABOUT THE SNARE DRUM SYMBOLOGY 🥁 Steve Gadd has a unique approach to the snare drum, which has earned him a reputation as one of the greatest drummers of all time. By exploring the full range of sounds that the snare drum can produce, Gadd has developed a distinctive style that sets him apart from other drummers. Using only three symbols, I've attempted to capture the various levels of ghost notes, accents on rimshot and center of the drum that contribute to his signature sound. While I've kept the transcription concise to avoid cluttering the screen, it's important to note that accurately capturing the dynamics of each note is a challenging task. To differentiate between ghost notes and regular notes, I've used parenthesis for the former (low volume), while unaccented notes are of medium volume and accented notes are of high volume. Once you've mastered the solo, you can experiment with dynamics and speed or even add your own unique flair. ❤️ Please keep in mind that these transcriptions are a "quantized" version of the live performance.
