Known for playing the role of the Marquise de Montespan in the film " Angelica and the King ". Estella's childhood was spent in Montmartre , the highest point in Paris . She had two sisters and a brother. In 1950 , she began studying acting with René Simon . Since 1953 , she played at the Grand Guignol theater with Michel Piccoli , Serge Reggiani , Rosie Warth and other artists. In 1954 he made his film debut in the drama Wild Fruit by Herve Bromberger . In 1953 she married the actor Gerard Blain , they divorced in 1957 . After the divorce, she decided to keep her husband's surname. In 1958 she married Michel Bonjean, brother of actress Genevieve Page. The next year, their son Michel was born in the marriage. Their relationship lasted until 1970 . In 1971 , Estella Blain had a brief relationship with Turkish actor Demir Karahan. The actress was friends with Pierre Lazarev , a journalist and owner of the Evening France newspaper.
