The "Night of Broken Glass", also called "Kristallnacht" ("crystal night") was an anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany from the 9th until the 10th of November 1938, when 91 Jews were killed and 25,000 to 30,000 were arrested and placed in concentration camps. Many historians account that date as the starting point of the systematic persecution of Jews and therefore the Holocaust. CAUTION!
