Ok here we go... Gaius Julius Caesar. The Roman... emperor? Consul? Dictator? God? I mean when I started this video, I know this was going to be an epic, but a 45 minute video? Come on... I didn't expect that. But Julius Caesar is simply that dude. The guy single-handedly jump-started the Roman Empire, which, at the time of his ascension was still the Roman Republic. So why is it, that Gaius Julius Caesar was able to completely change the trajectory of an a republic that was entirely set in its ways? That's what I want to explore in this Julius Caesar biography, and yes, I do apologize that I just used the word 'explore'.... point is: I want to talk about Julius Caesar. Period.
