We heard the voice of a kitten crying from afar. As we got closer, we realised it was a small kitten making noises or crying because it was hungry. First of all, we gave him water to drink, and as soon as we gave him food, he started eating it hastily. It was clear from his fast eating that the poor kitten had been hungry and thirsty for a long time. A gardener near here told us that a lady brought it in a box and left it here. People like to keep cats and kittens of special breeds in their homes but don't like to keep stray cats and kittens, and that's why they kick them out. We do street feeding at different places and find different kittens, but we can't adopt all of them. But we have decided to adopt these kittens because this kitten is very weak. And the rainy season is going on these days. The monsoon season is going on in our Punjab, in which it rains a lot. We can't leave this kitten alone, he'll get wet in this rain and it'll be difficult for him to survive. He was continuously scratching his ear. We are cleaning his ears. Maybe that's the reason for his itching. After cleaning, we made sure he didn't scratch again. He's not scratching now and he is well. At the beginning of July, we had 17 kittens available for adoption. Different foster moms adopted 6 kittens each. And 2 kittens out of 17 died. Several people have adopted three kittens and are feeding them bottles. 6 previous kittens, we got 8 more kittens and we still have 14 kittens available for adoption.
