An enormous, easy to pack away CNC machine that is largely 3D printed? Meet the MPCNC Lowrider2! In part 1 I made the parts and assembled the frame. In part 2, I cut the tubes to size, install belts and show you how to wire up the base Marlin firmware with Ramps and DRV8825. I then show an advanced version, with an SKR V1.3 mainboard, TMC5160 silent steppers, dual endstop self squaring firmware and a customised MKS TFT touchscreen. In the next instalment, I will be cutting some stuff and if time allows, designing some quick release belt holders with proper tensioning.
