The same house Joyce attempted to communicate with Will in, and just like the show the demogoron burst through the wall to get BF & GF. The reason why monsters are roaming around this world is due to a girl named Eleven accidentally opening a Gate from the upside down world and letting the Demogorgon into Hawkins, Indiana.
