In this video, let us explore more about the mysteries of this temple. By all accounts, you will agree with me that this does not look like a regular Hindu temple, but when you look at it from the air, it looks even more strange, the Pyramid complex looks like a technical drawing, a blue print of a circuit. Just look at the entire set up, a series of 7 concentric squares stacked on top of one another like a wedding cake, and a giant crystal rod once stood in the center, made of 30 feet of quartz. It looks like it's some kind of an ancient broadcasting station which was transmitting and receiving radio signals. Now, we already talked about the giant crystal lingam that was placed on top of the pyramid, but that is not the only lingam that existed in this complex. There was yet another giant lingam placed on the ground level as well. And it is located inside this brick structure, which also looks like a crude pyramid, with a pointed top. As I eagerly approached it and looked inside to see the lingam, again I found that this lingam, the cylinder is also missing. You can see the huge hole in the center, A giant Yoni which once held a lingam. I mean this is just massive, the base alone is 6 feet long, and 6 feet wide. This would have held a gigantic lingam inside. Looking at the size, we can see that this lingam would have also been about 15 feet tall from the ground level. There is no doubt that a giant lingam existed here a thousand years ago, But was this lingam also made of crystal quartz? Is it possible that a second crystal lingam was also placed as a backup for radio transmission and receiving purposes? Most importantly, how did these lingams look? What was the shape of these lingams? I ask this, because Lingams were made in many unique shapes and designs in ancient Cambodia. Normally, we think of Lingams as just cylindrical structures, but Cambodian lingams come in many unique shapes. So, how did these crystal lingams look? Did they have bumps or unique projections on them? Or did they even have multiple antenna or wire like twists on them? You may think there is no way to find out how these lingams looked since they are gone now, but I found something very interesting. Some Locals refer to this temple as Sahasralinga temple. The current names like Koh Ker, Prasat Prang, etc are all just modern names, but locals reveal that the entire area was originally known as Lingapura and this temple was known as Sahasralinga. Remember, Cambodia has multiple sites which are called Sahasra Linga, I have already shown you two sites, which are underwater. Both are known as Sahasra Linga by locals and both have thousands of Lingams, and the Koh Ker pyramid complex is also sometimes called Sahasralinga. #Cambodia #Hinduism #PraveenMohan
