00:00:08
until the sound until the applause
00:00:11
audience that's on the sound okay cool
00:00:13
thank you dressing up for us nice tuxedo
00:00:15
well thank you for noticing
00:00:17
yeah of course that's what I am not
00:00:18
wearing pants so I hope you don't go
00:00:20
past my oh my how they sound alike
00:00:22
really yeah really i frame it extreme it
00:00:25
means I'm sorry listen I like your style
00:00:29
spider-man far from home is out now just
00:00:32
bizarre to me because I'm like still
00:00:34
getting over and processing end game yes
00:00:37
I'm actually still processing infinity
00:00:38
war and yet you have been slapped out of
00:00:41
existence snap back into existence and
00:00:43
then straight into spider-man snap
00:00:46
what's it like being Cobie Smulders
00:00:47
right now it's like non-stop work I
00:00:52
wouldn't say that but I agree with you I
00:00:54
mean I'm still recovering from the snap
00:00:57
yes and I think we're all still
00:01:00
recovering from these huge movies right
00:01:03
and it's really incredible because you
00:01:06
know I shot the first Avengers movie
00:01:10
2012 2012 right you know the strangest
00:01:14
things if you think about what the name
00:01:15
of that movie was it was just called The
00:01:16
Avengers was there no no that uh nothing
00:01:19
just be a baby really yeah you would
00:01:21
know you were gonna it's weird you know
00:01:22
you were in it I know we'll see more of
00:01:26
that later yeah it was it was because
00:01:29
even when I auditioned for it I didn't
00:01:33
even know the character that I was
00:01:35
playing I was just given a scene that
00:01:37
Joss Whedon had written which was like
00:01:40
female agent and my husband who is such
00:01:44
a crazy Marvel fan and he was making
00:01:50
guesses he was making guesses and I was
00:01:52
willing to roll the dice I think I did I
00:01:57
think I did the good I did a good thing
00:01:58
with well you and life back bendlin I
00:02:00
was on How I Met Your Mother circus
00:02:03
season through to three right so you
00:02:06
were doing it I was doing great my dad
00:02:09
is like I was working
00:02:11
I but I was looking for projects outside
00:02:15
of it and I was looking for projects
00:02:16
that were very different
00:02:18
it was the kind of serious roles were
00:02:20
serious
00:02:22
yes and I did and it was it was I mean
00:02:26
it was so great the whole thing it's
00:02:28
been so crazy but I bring that up
00:02:29
because it's so amazing being a part of
00:02:34
it and seeing this arc I mean
00:02:36
everybody's watching it but to for me I
00:02:39
get to do these movies and I pop in you
00:02:43
know on day 27 I'm like you guys we're
00:02:46
shooting another movie this is so
00:02:48
exciting and then I come back like day
00:02:50
93 everyone's exhausted and it's it's
00:02:58
such a it's been such a great role
00:03:01
because I get to sort of be a part of it
00:03:04
and and and and internally watch this
00:03:06
evolution but but just kind of be able
00:03:10
to pop in and kind of seek these little
00:03:13
moments out and and get invited to the
00:03:15
premiere exactly so all the cuts and you
00:03:17
know like the gluon certainly benefits
00:03:20
from a lot of a lot of is like let's go
00:03:23
to that one I'm not in that one but take
00:03:24
me anyway yeah I mean I get that insight
00:03:26
there you know you're in the world you
00:03:28
guys you ever thought about you um
00:03:30
thinking you're inviting going oh I
00:03:33
don't think so I think we've I think
00:03:36
we've been I might have missed one
00:03:37
because I was working but ya know I
00:03:39
think we've always gone together I'm you
00:03:41
know we can't talk about how spider-man
00:03:43
far from home why not
00:03:44
what we can't cuz it be spoilers people
00:03:46
get actually flying bar T pooper you you
00:03:49
wanna I will ya know I like my job so
00:03:53
much but you know where we can talk
00:03:55
about is where it starts and we know
00:03:56
that that's in a world after Tony Stark
00:03:59
yes dark and therefore Robert Downey jr.
00:04:02
who is been there since day one yeah
00:04:05
started it off and he's no longer there
00:04:07
so how does that affect the set has that
00:04:10
affect people you know that guy was more
00:04:12
than just number one on the call sheet
00:04:14
yeah okay now we're getting into an area
00:04:17
where like I have to put on like the the
00:04:19
Marvel Guard yes some careful mouth um
00:04:21
garden is going
00:04:23
there's a shift in energy yeah it's
00:04:25
going way it's like Kobe's gone serious
00:04:27
what happened okay
00:04:33
okay uh-huh okay so okay so Tony Stark
00:04:36
is gone yes we know that we will see um
00:04:41
you're so scared of being fired for
00:04:43
something I don't know I just like to
00:04:46
talk and you're a very nice person and I
00:04:47
trust you already we've that's that one
00:04:53
right in your very good advocate you're
00:04:55
very good at what you do think okay what
00:04:58
I will say is is is that what that's
00:05:01
what kind of this movie is about is you
00:05:03
know obviously Tony Stark was like a big
00:05:05
part of Peter Parker's life an idol and
00:05:09
and now that he's gone I feel like it is
00:05:12
a moment for this kid to sort of
00:05:17
contemplate where he should be in this
00:05:21
in this world okay and my in in my in my
00:05:24
sort of role in the film is I want them
00:05:28
to like get back to work I'm like let's
00:05:30
go their responsibilities you owe the
00:05:34
people like you need to step up and he
00:05:36
just wants to like go around in Europe
00:05:38
fish let's be honest every so you need
00:05:41
like a mistress what what I mean is like
00:05:46
oh no my god I don't like that that the
00:05:50
storyline no that is know what I mean so
00:05:51
you're like trying to get him to go back
00:05:53
to work take things seriously yeah do it
00:05:55
for the universe do a fight you have to
00:05:57
do it for the common for the common good
00:05:59
you know you I that's what I've always
00:06:01
found really interesting about these
00:06:02
movies and especially being like a Maria
00:06:04
hill or a fury or even a Hawkeye Black
00:06:07
Widow where we're all human you know and
00:06:10
it's I I am always interested with these
00:06:13
characters that have to make the choice
00:06:15
to put other people I mean the military
00:06:18
anybody who's who's in a serving
00:06:20
position where they have to physically
00:06:22
put their bodies in danger for other
00:06:25
people I think it's a really interesting
00:06:28
admirable decision to make and you know
00:06:33
I think that with these you know with
00:06:34
these superheroes it's kind of like you
00:06:35
gotta do it right
00:06:36
Peter you
00:06:37
got it like your you know you've got
00:06:39
webs coming out of your hands like step
00:06:41
it up like help help people out and and
00:06:45
so it's it's sort of that it's that
00:06:46
conversation I mean the only reason why
00:06:48
Tony stock was always a little
00:06:50
apprehensive was because he was so young
00:06:51
you know I mean yes yes yeah yeah
00:06:55
where is is that what's interesting
00:06:56
about playing Maria hill you know you
00:06:57
don't have super powers beyond some way
00:06:59
or I wish like okay I'm right now mom
00:07:09
I'm on the Bluetooth okay got it got it
00:07:10
got it got it they gave you a moment's I
00:07:12
mean we've got see a moment yeah I'm not
00:07:14
I'm not I'm not ungrateful I'm very
00:07:16
grateful for my mom what do you think
00:07:17
Maria Hill wrote to the Avengers since
00:07:21
the first time you appeared like what's
00:07:23
that for me I can tell you what I think
00:07:25
it was it was the heart it was the fact
00:07:27
that she was normal person yeah wasn't
00:07:32
yeah connected right I think it's that I
00:07:34
think she's playing a little bit of the
00:07:36
audience you know I think that I think
00:07:39
she's certainly providing like
00:07:40
information I always make jokes it's
00:07:42
like hey audience just happened this is
00:07:46
what we need to achieve and this is what
00:07:47
we're hoping to do okay superheroes back
00:07:50
in and you know that obviously provides
00:07:52
just general storytelling but but I
00:07:57
agree with you I think it's important to
00:07:59
sort of have somebody who is in a more
00:08:02
vulnerable place who is sort of watching
00:08:05
these things happening and reacting to
00:08:07
it like a normal person right so I think
00:08:10
she provides that I think I love the
00:08:13
fact that you you tell the truth about
00:08:15
going through script being like just
00:08:17
give me the tesseract and let me
00:08:18
manifest something if you could give her
00:08:20
any superpower what would it be I mean I
00:08:23
think she would really benefit from time
00:08:26
control oh yeah she you know I think
00:08:30
that she's such a multitasking like
00:08:33
she's constantly organizing everything
00:08:36
and I will say you know going back to
00:08:37
this movie specifically it was really
00:08:40
cool because we're sort of able to take
00:08:45
a glance into the world of Furion Hill
00:08:47
and they're dated
00:08:49
a monotony of just going what are they
00:08:52
doing what are they doing when these
00:08:54
when they're fight when there's like a
00:08:55
battle or when there's no battle yeah
00:08:57
and they're just like doing the
00:08:59
paperwork I mean we're not actually
00:09:00
gonna be showing us doing though for
00:09:01
work in this film because they're taking
00:09:02
me the horrible idea but just sort of
00:09:04
that the fieldwork and just like the
00:09:06
general you know just asking of
00:09:10
questions just like like filling filling
00:09:13
the blanks and I think that that's that
00:09:16
was exciting to me John watts or have
00:09:18
had this idea of what is their world
00:09:20
like when all this stuff is not when
00:09:23
there's no earth-shattering thing
00:09:26
happening what is everybody up to so we
00:09:29
know you know on screen you and Nick
00:09:32
Fury played by Seminole Jack's and have
00:09:33
an amazing chemistry how did you
00:09:36
approach that off-screen well first of
00:09:40
all Sam is a delightful human being so
00:09:43
it doesn't take much to like get along
00:09:45
well with him he's a cool dude he's
00:09:48
super cool but he's also you know um I'm
00:09:51
such a fan of his and I even remember
00:09:53
like in the first when we shot the first
00:09:56
Avengers we were on that ship and it was
00:09:58
all glass and yes fully realized I
00:10:00
wasn't wasn't much green skiing screen
00:10:01
there was green screen sort of outside
00:10:03
of the glass so it sort of felt like a
00:10:06
much more intimate set and we were
00:10:08
joking around I don't know what we were
00:10:10
talking about but we were talking about
00:10:12
a imaginary fight or something and he
00:10:15
was like or I could just you know take out my life like say I do this thing I
00:10:17
was like I go Star Wars reference and
00:10:21
then ten minutes later I went oh he was
00:10:23
in Star Wars like I'm an idiot he's been
00:10:28
in so many films and he's so talented
00:10:30
and he's such a professional talk to me
00:10:34
about that what do you mean when you say
00:10:35
profession I mean like he he is you know
00:10:38
he's on time he knows his lines he's
00:10:40
like God has character it's just when we
00:10:42
when we're on set we're working and then
00:10:43
we go home and it was an intern we
00:10:47
actually had an interesting moment on
00:10:48
this movie in particular where we shot
00:10:52
the scene and we hadn't seen each other
00:10:53
for a while and neither of us had read
00:10:56
an end game it hadn't come out yet I
00:11:00
don't even think Black Panther had come
00:11:02
out
00:11:03
but there was a lot of holes there was a
00:11:04
lot of gaps and we just tried to be a
00:11:09
little like from his knowledge like from
00:11:11
what he had heard or been told and what
00:11:14
I had been told and what John was sort
00:11:16
of telling us we were trying to piece it
00:11:19
all together and we're like wait no but
00:11:21
then but then you came but I came but
00:11:23
did you come back and I'm wondering even
00:11:25
if we had we had just shot the tag
00:11:28
together so we were like okay we
00:11:30
disappeared you knew that yeah
00:11:33
but we didn't know like how we came back
00:11:36
how much time had passed we didn't know
00:11:39
any of that information that we go hard
00:11:42
to do your job as an actor well the they
00:11:46
think now I don't know how many of these
00:11:48
movies I've done but what I have learned
00:11:50
is to be very trusting of the process
00:11:54
because all of the people above normally
00:11:57
you like jump on to a movie and the the
00:12:00
executive producers the producers are
00:12:01
like money guys or women you know
00:12:03
they're like they're just like budgeting
00:12:05
and logistics people but everybody who
00:12:09
is a part of these are so they're so
00:12:11
creative as well so what I've learned is
00:12:14
to just kind of shut up and just say
00:12:16
your lines and to trust that whatever
00:12:18
you're shooting and whatever you're
00:12:20
doing makes sense for that for the
00:12:23
greater story and and I've also found
00:12:26
that anytime I do start pulling that
00:12:28
thread it becomes much more confusing
00:12:31
and also I will say on these films a lot
00:12:34
of stuff changes even from the first
00:12:37
draft even from the shooting draft
00:12:39
there's so many reshoots involved in
00:12:41
every film like it's literally scheduled
00:12:45
we're months of reshoots or whatever
00:12:47
it's gonna be is already worked into the
00:12:50
budget and in the schedule so it allows
00:12:53
for this process to go you know for them
00:12:55
to edit it all together and go no you
00:12:59
know what we need to do this and oh we
00:13:00
have this movie coming out we have to
00:13:02
link this together and everybody really
00:13:04
from like Kevin Feige down they know I
00:13:07
mean this is their world their fans
00:13:09
right so they know that all of the
00:13:12
stories they know the comic books they
00:13:14
they're they
00:13:16
they work in servitude of the fans you
00:13:18
know so they so they're very smart about
00:13:20
it so I just you know say my lines and
00:13:21
then go home to my kids okay
00:13:23
can you name all the MCU movies you know
00:13:25
I bet incra maybe in chronological order
00:13:29
I mean what is that dawn this is a game
00:13:31
okay Avengers
00:13:33
The Avengers show and then I was in
00:13:36
Captain America Winter Soldier
00:13:38
the Winter Soldier sure okay I've been
00:13:46
in so many okay and then it was and then
00:13:51
it was Ultron Avengers age of Ultron
00:13:54
that one you didn't need that that it's
00:13:56
just age of Ultron the show
00:13:58
this is my car details next okay okay
00:14:01
and then and then it was and then I
00:14:05
wasn't in and then it was infinity
00:14:09
because you're in it okay yeah I'm in
00:14:13
the tank okay yes yes you're in and then
00:14:15
end game and now okay and then now and
00:14:18
now listen that was harder than I
00:14:20
thought it would be it was harder
00:14:21
because those last two I don't you know
00:14:27
you play what is it what is one thing
00:14:29
that has changed the most since that
00:14:31
first movie and what is something stayed
00:14:33
exactly the same oh I mean I will say
00:14:37
the thing that has changed the most is
00:14:39
the technology I mean seeing how much
00:14:42
more creative we can be I'm trying to
00:14:46
think like the on the original Avengers
00:14:49
there's so much green screen I mean you
00:14:52
would just be two dots marine screen
00:14:54
like all surrounding you and now you're
00:14:57
kind of walking you go I'm sorry they're
00:15:00
gonna be aliens in here because this is
00:15:02
like a full-on set right and they don't
00:15:05
have to on the day it's not it it's much
00:15:08
more realistic and I don't I don't know
00:15:10
the technology behind that but the day
00:15:12
to day has become more fully realized
00:15:14
yeah which is very helpful for actors
00:15:17
and performances
00:15:18
what has changed the least the people I
00:15:21
mean the coolest thing is is is going
00:15:24
back on these films and obviously seeing
00:15:26
a lot of the same actors but seeing the
00:15:28
same writer see
00:15:29
the same producers seeing the same crew
00:15:33
a lot of same crew I'll go and work on
00:15:35
like I was just on spider-man they're
00:15:37
like hey I did all Tron with you like
00:15:38
six years ago or whatever it was and so
00:15:41
they're very they're very loyal to their
00:15:44
people and so yeah I would say do you
00:15:47
have a favorite moment from all the
00:15:49
movies when you watch them back do you
00:15:50
watch them all back I've never seen them
00:15:52
okay
00:15:53
I meant to for the endgame watch them
00:15:56
chronologically cuz I thought that was a
00:15:58
really cool idea from like Captain
00:16:00
Marvel to and then continuing on but I
00:16:02
you know I didn't I didn't get to it was
00:16:05
it looking back at like filming them and
00:16:07
being part of this you know this movie
00:16:08
franchise that we're gonna remember
00:16:10
forever what has been your single most
00:16:12
favorite moment oh my let me think for a
00:16:18
second because I want to say the right
00:16:20
thing in a fight I just won the first
00:16:21
thing that comes to mind to be honest
00:16:22
okay okay okay well you asked me it
00:16:25
before so I had two different things
00:16:27
come to my mind okay okay so from the
00:16:29
first one the first the first time you
00:16:31
asked me was that scene in endgame okay
00:16:36
where it was you know every single
00:16:37
person and it was this this this crane
00:16:40
shot that just kind of went through
00:16:41
everyone yes it was when you when you
00:16:44
were there with everyone you saw all
00:16:45
these people who had been in all these
00:16:47
and that was no seed right everyone was
00:16:49
that everyone was there there was like
00:16:50
60 trailers you know bunch of hair and
00:16:54
makeup trailer excited to meet me then
00:16:56
that you had never met before I'm not
00:16:58
great in group situations especially I
00:17:03
mean this I'm s is all working really
00:17:05
great for me here but when it's like
00:17:09
Michelle Pfeiffer and like Michael
00:17:12
Douglas and the entire cast of Black
00:17:14
Panthers just I'm just like be cool like
00:17:17
be frickin cool don't embarrass yourself
00:17:21
and I think it was just me and Linda
00:17:24
Cardellini just chatting most of the
00:17:26
time because we're buds yeah but it was
00:17:30
it was great because I hadn't seen
00:17:32
Evangeline Lilly for a long time there's
00:17:33
a lot of there was a lot of like people
00:17:34
that I got to like see in the and all
00:17:37
the Chris's all the Chris all the
00:17:38
quizzes and and it's Carla it's just
00:17:41
like it's
00:17:42
it was it was a crazy day was it was a
00:17:45
little overwhelming so I was just like
00:17:47
whoa so that was a really sort of I'll
00:17:52
be like a grandmother be like it you
00:17:53
know that movie yeah yeah then just in
00:17:56
game but that's a really special moment
00:17:58
with it was really cool then the other
00:18:01
wine going
00:18:02
you could pick and choose go okay in the
00:18:04
Edit in the Edit was in the first
00:18:09
Avengers film and it's I can't remember
00:18:12
I can't remember where it is in the film
00:18:14
but it's basically but the scene were
00:18:15
everybody's in around this table for the
00:18:19
first time and it was like I'm standing
00:18:23
there like I'm standing there like
00:18:24
beside a computer just like I I remember
00:18:31
meeting Robert for the first time and
00:18:33
being very intimidated by that and I
00:18:35
just met him and I got I had the best
00:18:38
seats you do everybody watch it but I
00:18:42
had the best seat and continue to wear
00:18:45
there are these major scenes and
00:18:47
everyone's talking and I get to just
00:18:49
kind of take it in say a couple things
00:18:51
every now and then but then just kind of
00:18:52
watch everybody and it's really
00:18:54
spectacular but it still once you meet
00:18:55
samuel l.jackson there's no one else
00:18:57
you'd be starstruck by but Adige i guess
00:18:59
is such a character yeah that was yeah I
00:19:02
don't know I was like I think I think it
00:19:04
depends on what you watched when you
00:19:07
were younger growing up and certainly
00:19:09
like pulp fiction was a big one for me
00:19:11
but like Robert was like there were some
00:19:15
potentially romantic feelings back in
00:19:17
the day watching some of his films for
00:19:19
everybody yeah and you know so I was
00:19:24
it's such a weird thing when you meet
00:19:27
people that you had feelings for
00:19:30
watching them on screen like I
00:19:32
understand it but it's to leave me I get
00:19:34
it no I mean I'm telling you I meant Wow
00:19:41
ego listen I do want to point out you
00:19:45
know Anthony Mackie came he says and the
00:19:48
Bears had asked him a question I go out
00:19:49
of all your Avengers cast which member
00:19:52
would you go for for relationship advice
00:19:56
he said you me nice what would you go
00:19:59
what would you go to Anthony Mackie fool
00:20:02
well you know what you know what I mean
00:20:05
I hope people know he is he's like he's
00:20:07
like an encyclopedia of knowledge like
00:20:10
he's he's out he's a he's like
00:20:12
aggressively intelligent and so I would
00:20:17
want to go to Mackie for like like a
00:20:20
like if I was competing in any in a game
00:20:23
show in any game show I would want him
00:20:25
by my side because quite honestly you
00:20:27
know there there's been times where I'm
00:20:30
talking to him and I'm just like I can't
00:20:31
keep up with you I might want to swear
00:20:33
on the show you've done it I know I said
00:20:37
freaking once okay but I can I can I can
00:20:39
mentally change to frickin if we don't
00:20:41
we can't drop be yourself okay um but no
00:20:46
he's he's so like he's got such a depth
00:20:49
of knowledge and is such a great just
00:20:51
like just great to have a conversation
00:20:53
with yeah which is maybe why he said
00:20:56
that about me because we just get into
00:20:57
like really intense conversations oh ha
00:20:59
oh well that's nice anyone I said yeah
00:21:02
I've also been like with my husband for
00:21:04
a very long time for everything together
00:21:06
since we were 22 okay so maybe he like
00:21:09
why not yeah this suggest them it's
00:21:13
going before we move on to my favorite
00:21:15
scene was when you're playing in the age
00:21:17
of Ultron and that was the scene where
00:21:19
everyone's together there's the only
00:21:21
time we ever see all the Avengers
00:21:22
actually chill before that because
00:21:24
there's nothing going on told everyone
00:21:26
hanging out have no dream you've got the
00:21:28
testosterone line yes that was my fun
00:21:31
moment for the kept America touching but
00:21:34
yes without a lot of fun to film it was
00:21:37
really cool and and going back to just
00:21:39
you know being on a set that's real that
00:21:41
whole set was an entire soundstage so it
00:21:45
was really cool and you felt like you
00:21:48
were on stark tower you felt like you
00:21:50
were in this world and like when I'm
00:21:52
watching yeah I felt like it was
00:21:53
literally just in general bunch a
00:21:55
friends hanging out was that actually
00:21:57
the ice it was I mean I will say every
00:22:01
third no jerks and I keep saying that -
00:22:03
you know - Kevin and to - to all these
00:22:05
people who give you jobs like oh you're
00:22:08
really doing a great job hiring everyone
00:22:10
because somebody should be an a-hole and
00:22:12
nobody is in a hole which is quite
00:22:14
surprising especially after you know
00:22:16
these films just getting so much bigger
00:22:18
and so much more popular you've got an
00:22:20
amazing following online they love you
00:22:21
so we grab the question okay what's up
00:22:24
okay it's Evans underscore best Chris
00:22:28
asks I think I know her favorite it's
00:22:31
actually nothing about seven I actually
00:22:33
feel like it is Chris Evans who's doing
00:22:35
this but Evans on this goal best Chris
00:22:38
wouldn't it be funny and the fact that
00:22:40
Chris Evans were taken by someone else
00:22:42
already yeah I still miss hashtag HIMYM
00:22:46
yes is there anything you miss about
00:22:47
having Robin in your life mhm and is
00:22:50
there a chance of a reunion well Robins
00:22:54
never left me you know it's right here
00:22:56
first of all so deep very very deep you
00:23:01
know we did the show for nine years
00:23:04
which is such an insane accomplishment
00:23:08
for our writers or crew all the actors
00:23:12
and if it felt like enough like it felt
00:23:16
like we did it and we we set out to tell
00:23:19
this story and we were able to complete
00:23:21
it the way that the creator's wanted to
00:23:23
complete it so you know I'll always miss
00:23:26
it it was the best job I think I'll ever
00:23:28
have what do you miss the most about it
00:23:29
like now you can look back and yeah I
00:23:31
miss the people
00:23:32
I miss our crew and I miss our cast and
00:23:34
I was seeing them every day it's funny I
00:23:36
went to visit my husband set and on the
00:23:40
next soundstage was almost our entire
00:23:42
crew like they just they just are still
00:23:45
working together but on other shows and
00:23:47
I was like I got so emotional because it
00:23:50
was very strange to step into a world
00:23:53
that that was so familial to you and
00:23:55
then all of a sudden it was uh yeah it
00:23:57
was it was over but on the second part
00:24:00
of the question of our reunion yes Oh
00:24:02
acquiring mines well no I don't I think
00:24:05
it's too soon
00:24:07
I I mean I I would love to to to work
00:24:10
with the cast again is it possible
00:24:13
storyline wise can they do it I get I
00:24:15
mean we were doing its story the guy
00:24:17
telling his kids you can pick up got
00:24:19
anywhere I guess I
00:24:24
did I know there was a lot of people had
00:24:26
very big feelings about it what I have
00:24:30
heard which has been interesting which
00:24:31
which which I do agree with is now that
00:24:35
it's streaming right so we were back in
00:24:37
the day okay where the dinosaurs more
00:24:39
people would watch television every
00:24:42
night your family watch it at the time
00:24:45
it aired and so that started and it was
00:24:50
like that for six seasons right and then
00:24:53
the streaming kind of caught up and what
00:24:56
I'm hearing from people now is I'll meet
00:24:59
somebody and they usually look like kind
00:25:01
of crazed and I just watched entire
00:25:03
series last weekend that is a lot of
00:25:06
television but when you watch it that
00:25:11
meant that back to back it make the
00:25:14
Robin and Ted Ark makes more sense
00:25:17
because what happened in the middle is
00:25:18
people kind of fell in love with Robin
00:25:20
and Barney and I do understand and I do
00:25:22
I do think that we you know for that
00:25:25
last season we rushed through a lot of
00:25:27
stuff that maybe we could have milked a
00:25:30
little bit more but it's a combination
00:25:31
of two things it's a combination of just
00:25:33
not having enough time and I think we
00:25:35
were so concerned about spoilers like we
00:25:40
were so concerned that they were gonna
00:25:43
find out that the mother died and that
00:25:46
that that Ted and Ted and Robin were
00:25:48
gonna reconnect I think they were so
00:25:51
nervous
00:25:52
because this is all new and it was Ault
00:25:53
like all of a sudden we were a show that
00:25:55
we had okay ratings like we were but we
00:25:58
were never like it wasn't as followed as
00:26:00
it was until like almost the show was
00:26:02
done or that last year was sort of the
00:26:05
biggest it was so we didn't ever live
00:26:09
under that that pressure of oh my god
00:26:11
are people gonna find out we got to be
00:26:12
you know more secretive about it so I
00:26:16
think it was that but but I would have
00:26:18
liked it to milk things more but you
00:26:20
know you do what you can do and and I
00:26:23
hope that people now when they watch it
00:26:24
hopefully not in a weekend wait that
00:26:27
they can appreciate that more what's
00:26:30
amazing to me as you left that show
00:26:31
because of the pressure to spoil and
00:26:33
join the Marvel Cinematic Universe for
00:26:35
years tecnique
00:26:38
impossible for me because they have this
00:26:41
like it's a website it's on a website
00:26:43
but it's it's you have to log on and I
00:26:47
can never remember my password because
00:26:49
it's 17 numbers and symbols and they
00:26:53
give to you and they give from me and or
00:26:57
I just I'm always losing it so they give
00:26:59
you and then you get your sides and you
00:27:02
don't even get full scripts and so you
00:27:04
get other jobs right they'll give you
00:27:06
sides but they'll be blocked out and
00:27:08
then you have to hand them back at the
00:27:09
end of the day okay you know and you
00:27:11
can't actually take photos of it there's
00:27:13
something with the paper I don't know I
00:27:14
haven't tried it out paranoid you
00:27:17
imagine if Maria Hill had that problem
00:27:18
every time she'd show yous can be I know
00:27:20
she's like the one developing stuff in
00:27:23
the world so I would hope she's better
00:27:25
at it than I am
00:27:26
let's talk Koby about what you're
00:27:29
watching at home okay what are you into
00:27:32
apart from binge watching How I Met Your
00:27:33
Mother
00:27:34
everybody's dreams yes I am really into
00:27:39
a Fosse verdun okay
00:27:42
Rockwell yes every walk well Michelle
00:27:44
Williams wasn't rushing it yeah talk
00:27:46
about that show well I you know I'm a
00:27:49
New York theater lover my friend Tommy
00:27:52
directed it and it's just this like I
00:27:57
don't know just like the history of
00:27:59
musical theater there's this such an
00:28:01
interesting dynamic between these two
00:28:04
characters and it's just it's really
00:28:08
well done so I really enjoy it I also
00:28:10
just like enjoy a musical I enjoy stuff
00:28:13
with dance in it because I appreciate
00:28:14
just the artistry behind it you
00:28:16
impersonating yes yes yes Jan yeah yeah
00:28:20
what's something else
00:28:22
killing Eve I'm really obsessed with
00:28:26
tell me why why apart from all the
00:28:29
obvious reasons but I love that it's a
00:28:32
show about two female leads I love that
00:28:34
it's like an interesting dark love story
00:28:38
between these two and funny yes yeah
00:28:41
and I also just think it's beautiful I
00:28:43
love like how it's shot in multiple
00:28:44
countries and yeah I'm just really in to
00:28:47
the to the to the characters and the
00:28:49
actors playing them they're both
00:28:51
yeah give me one more is there a movie
00:28:53
you're looking for - yes these apart
00:28:56
from Euro which that's gonna that's on
00:28:58
my watch list which oh the well yeah I'm
00:29:01
very much yeah I haven't seen it yet
00:29:03
well we need some time yet what else you
00:29:07
looking forward to
00:29:08
um once upon a time in Hollywood I mean
00:29:10
I'm a big Tarantino fan huge favorite
00:29:13
Tarantino movie I mean I think I loved
00:29:15
killed I love pulp fiction but I really
00:29:18
loved the first kill bill' love that
00:29:20
with me I really loved it so I would say
00:29:24
those two okay and what are you excited
00:29:26
about about once upon a time in
00:29:28
Hollywood well I I I think it was a
00:29:32
really interesting time period I love
00:29:35
anything that's old Hollywood I don't
00:29:37
know much about it quite honestly I mean
00:29:39
it's got Leo and and Margot Rob I mean
00:29:43
it's like you don't really have to you
00:29:46
know say more but I I'm interested in in
00:29:49
in that in that in like old Hollywood
00:29:51
and and and and it looks beautiful
00:29:54
yeah it's like it's going to be from
00:29:56
what I've heard it's a bunch of
00:29:58
different stories all kind of yeah to
00:30:00
one that they're gonna meet up like
00:30:02
everything oh yeah how like pulp fiction
00:30:04
was right yeah something like that's
00:30:06
cool you and me both the super excited
00:30:08
for that I was super excited for this
00:30:10
and honestly I'm super excited for the
00:30:12
next time you come in and do this with
00:30:14
us as well just a lot of fun thank you
00:30:15
so much thank you for having my congrats
00:30:17
for having everything
