00:00:03
reaction today to one of my favorite

00:00:08
incredible videos he's going to be
00:00:09

00:00:12
excited I have not watched it yet he
00:00:13
does amazing videos make sure you go
00:00:15

00:00:16
able to do these and Blasting his
00:00:17
message out to a wider audience so hope
00:00:19
you guys enjoy before we get into it
00:00:20
though make sure you like this video
00:00:21
subscribe to the channel if you have not
00:00:23
already and ring that notification Bell
00:00:25
so that you never miss a comment section
00:00:26
or off the clock episode alrighty here
00:00:27
we go let's take it away Jen today I'm
00:00:30
out here in the question that I'll be
00:00:31
asking is is the media biased regarding
00:00:34
racial violence they only report this
00:00:36
stuff against white people they don't
00:00:37
report all the stuff against other races
00:00:40
I think here in the U.S media doesn't
00:00:42
really cover anything that doesn't gain
00:00:44
any traction with a lot of the buzzwords
00:00:46
like black lives matter or stop Asian
00:00:49
hate Etc the media perpetrates a lot of
00:00:51
stereotypes regarding different races
00:00:53
when there's like the big mass shootings
00:00:55
of the white people it's always like oh
00:00:56
he was mentally ill or he had this or
00:00:58
that like some explanation and for black
00:00:59
people it's just more Point Blank this
00:01:01
is how it was well to be fair the media
00:01:03
will report both of them but if it's a
00:01:06
white person that story stays in the
00:01:08
media for a very long time it could be
00:01:09
one month could be two months three
00:01:11
months could be four months
00:01:15
I see that happening so there's a lot of
00:01:17
time to analyze it try to find out an
00:01:19
explanation if it is not a white person
00:01:21
oh no where did it go where did the
00:01:22
story go nobody no one even knows that
00:01:24
it happened because the media does not
00:01:26
care because it's not advantageous for
00:01:27
them to put it out there and make it a
00:01:29
lasting story so obviously we're not
00:01:30
sitting around discussing why this might
00:01:32
not happen because literally nobody
00:01:33
knows about it because it's not reported
00:01:35
because that goes against the current
00:01:37
thing that would not be politically
00:01:39
correct this kind of hard to put a
00:01:40
pinpoint on but I know it's not 100
00:01:42
equal put it that way do you trust the
00:01:44
media yes I trust everyone man to a
00:01:47
certain extent that's a terrible idea
00:01:49
absolutely not sir do not trust the
00:01:51
media a good you know point of reference
00:01:54
I would say a good Baseline is that if
00:01:56
the mainstream media is telling you to
00:01:58
do something or telling you to believe
00:01:59
something and they're all doing it at
00:02:01
the exact same time and every single
00:02:02
outlet is reporting it
00:02:04
I would suggest maybe looking the other
00:02:06
direction just to see what they are
00:02:07
trying to get you to avoid looking at
00:02:09
what they're trying to get you to avoid
00:02:11
doing it's just a good exercise I would
00:02:13
say I think like coverage of racial
00:02:15
violence impacts societal relations the
00:02:17
BLM movement and the media really helped
00:02:19
in the sense of awareness but I think
00:02:21
people can just I don't really think it
00:02:23
helps you guys at all just saying I
00:02:25
think it made a lot of people angry I
00:02:26
think it did a lot more harm than good
00:02:28
the organization the people who are
00:02:30
following the BLM organization we all
00:02:31
know now is an absolute train wreck they
00:02:34
were laundering money none of that money
00:02:35
actually went to help people in the
00:02:37
local communities it was all a sham
00:02:39
let's stop pretending like it did
00:02:40
anything effective like they caused
00:02:42
months and months of chaos the mostly
00:02:45
peaceful protest give me a break no it
00:02:47
did not help at all let's make a
00:02:48
statement or say something and feel like
00:02:50
they've done their part in it post like
00:02:51
a black Square yeah exactly like the
00:02:53
blackout Tuesday that didn't I don't
00:02:54
understand why anybody did that but then
00:02:56
it makes people feel better about it and
00:02:57
so I think it's like it's a large sword
00:02:59
I'm glad she's pointing out that a lot
00:03:00
of that you know activism online it
00:03:03
doesn't actually do anything it's mainly
00:03:04
for people egotistical desire to feel
00:03:06
involved in something and feel good
00:03:07
about being virtuous and being involved
00:03:10
in the current thing and in my opinion
00:03:11
it just makes things worse because you
00:03:12
have a lot of people jumping onto a
00:03:14
bandwagon that they don't really
00:03:15
understand but they're just doing it
00:03:16
because everybody else is doing it and
00:03:17
that's never a healthy thing to do
00:03:18
realizing division between races creates
00:03:21
more division by promoting a victim
00:03:24
mentality sometimes it happens people
00:03:25
genuinely hate other races like it's a
00:03:28
terrible thing but by spreading that
00:03:29
idea you create an even more separation
00:03:33
that is a crazy thought
00:03:39
it's shocking every time I watch these
00:03:41
videos whenever anybody has any kind of
00:03:43
common sense I get so excited that's
00:03:45
kind of sad because I shouldn't be
00:03:46
excited about that like obviously the
00:03:49
media leaning into this divide and
00:03:51
pitting races against each other is not
00:03:53
going to be good for us in real life it
00:03:55
is not going to push us forward it's not
00:03:58
it's not Progressive it just forces us
00:04:00
to be more divided it forces us to
00:04:02
stereotype more it forces people to be
00:04:04
angry at other races for no reason
00:04:06
because you know why it gets them clicks
00:04:08
it you know gives people more power
00:04:09
gives organizations like BLM more power
00:04:11
it's just it's a sham I guess buying a
00:04:13
new car can be a stressful experience
00:04:14
for anyone but it's especially stressful
00:04:16
if you're a first time buyer or maybe
00:04:17
your credit really isn't where you want
00:04:18
it to be now before you walk into a
00:04:19

00:05:18
carzing.com Cooper I think it's 2020
00:05:21
during the rides that follow Jacob
00:05:22
Blake's shooting in Wisconsin 17 year
00:05:24
old Kyle ridden's house shot and killed
00:05:26
two people and injured another with an
00:05:29
assault rifle and what followed was
00:05:30
widespread media attention around the
00:05:32
legal cases and conversations around gun
00:05:34
laws safety and namely race although
00:05:37
both the perpetrator and the victims and
00:05:38
the altercations were all white Joe
00:05:40
Biden compared writtenhouse to White
00:05:42
supremacists it's just just erical
00:05:44
because they took the
00:05:46
hand who did in self-defense we know
00:05:48
that now most people knew that from the
00:05:49
beginning and this trial woke up a lot
00:05:51
of people because they saw the media was
00:05:52
manipulating all of this but they
00:05:53
crafted this entire narrative that Kyle
00:05:55
Rittenhouse was this raging racist like
00:05:58
I spoke to people directly who thought
00:06:00
that he killed black people that thought
00:06:02
that he went out and was just trying to
00:06:03
shoot that genuinely believed that
00:06:05
because that is what people on Twitter
00:06:06
that is what the media had told them
00:06:07
that he was acting this way because he
00:06:09
was a white supremacist he was going
00:06:10
after people of color
00:06:12
he didn't even know the actual story
00:06:13
they did not know that one of the people
00:06:15
was alive and was saying like oh yeah I
00:06:18
was trying to shoot him and admitted
00:06:19
that did not know that they were all
00:06:21
white
00:06:22
like the media is at fault you cannot
00:06:24
trust them November 2021 that's why
00:06:27
murky evidence and arguments around the
00:06:29
legitimacy of self-defense we the jury
00:06:31
find the defendant
00:06:36
that was an amazing
00:06:37
charges so it raises the questions
00:06:40
because when misinformation is a media
00:06:42
concern where should the line be drawn
00:06:44
between investigating information
00:06:46
informing narratives before someone is
00:06:49
proven guilty and in January 19 an
00:06:51
openly gay black man was attacked in
00:06:53
Chicago by two white individuals who
00:06:55
shouted racist and homophobic slurs
00:06:57
poured an unknown chemical substances
00:06:59
and wrap the Rope around his neck
00:07:03
the incident immediately gained an
00:07:05
outpouring of support for actor Josie
00:07:07
smallette from Joe Biden to Bernie
00:07:09
Sanders and even an anti-lynching bill
00:07:11
was sponsored in Congress oh my God I'm
00:07:14
just laughing about this because it was
00:07:16
so elaborate it was so dumb I'm thinking
00:07:18
about watching those videos back in 2019
00:07:20
but everybody was so upset about it and
00:07:22
then now that we know that that was all
00:07:24
just a hoax fast forward to 2023 Carly
00:07:26
Russell is that her name the girl who
00:07:28
just faked her own abduction faked her
00:07:31
own trafficking like that was even
00:07:33
better than Jesse Smiley like that was
00:07:36
more elaborate I don't know if it was
00:07:38
better or worse but it was just even
00:07:39
crazier oh my God and of course the
00:07:42
media jumped on it immediately just like
00:07:43
they jumped on the Jesse Smiley thing
00:07:45
but thankfully they figured out that
00:07:46
hers is a hoax faster than they did with
00:07:48
Darcy Smiley because that went on for
00:07:50
way too long things were starting to not
00:07:52
add up the Trope of evidence is all part
00:07:54
of smallettes elaborate hoax for
00:07:56
publicity got their phone records and
00:07:58
surveillance was examined what they
00:08:00
found was that not only were the two
00:08:01
white guys actually two nights Syrian
00:08:04
Brothers but the whole incident was
00:08:05
staged by Smollett in an attempt to
00:08:07
further his career as he was
00:08:09
dissatisfied with his salary he did this
00:08:12
all in the name of self-promotion that's
00:08:14
just
00:08:17
it's just never it's so stupid but I
00:08:20
think that it speaks to a lot of people
00:08:22
who believe that they can utilize the
00:08:25
victim nature of our society to their
00:08:27
own Advantage I mean just think about
00:08:28
all the people in our society these days
00:08:30
in the media who are you know forging
00:08:32
their own path and you know breaking
00:08:33
through oppression and all these
00:08:34
barriers they're the ones who get all
00:08:36
the sponsorships that you see in every
00:08:38
commercial and every brand wants to work
00:08:40
with and it's because they have painted
00:08:42
themselves as a victim whether or not
00:08:43
they actually are because it pays to be
00:08:46
a victim and who creates that narrative
00:08:48
is the media because they have divided
00:08:49
people so much how does this impact the
00:08:51
basic principles of society that rely on
00:08:54
trust to exist do you think the police
00:08:56
have a racial bias against certain
00:08:57
groups I would be surprised if they
00:09:00
didn't but part of it is understandable
00:09:01
if we're going to be real look at who
00:09:03
commits crimes all of those things right
00:09:05
but what's missing is the reason why
00:09:07
people commit crimes when your life is
00:09:08
on the line you need to be able to
00:09:10
recognize where the danger is coming
00:09:11
from and I'm sorry
00:09:17
the groups you can
00:09:19
so you can let racism it really is not
00:09:20
knowing where you are more at risk
00:09:23
knowing what neighborhoods are more
00:09:25
dangerous that's not racism
00:09:27
that's just understanding how to read a
00:09:29
report that is protecting your life and
00:09:31
your family's life so that these cops
00:09:32
can go home to their children
00:09:34
again not racism that may sound racist I
00:09:36
understand but at the end of the day
00:09:37
it's statistics if I know somebody is
00:09:39
more likely to attack me then why
00:09:41
wouldn't I be more ready for that what
00:09:43
group do you think commits most crimes I
00:09:44
know that black people commit a lot of
00:09:46
crimes I know there are a lot of
00:09:47
Mexicans and Latinos in jail I know that
00:09:49
white people also committed I think
00:09:50
people commit a lot of crimes I don't
00:09:51
know how many Asian people commit crimes
00:09:53
I would say it's probably less honestly
00:09:54
just studying yeah
00:09:56
media can cover policemen very biased do
00:10:00
you get a few instances but to like
00:10:01
generalize all policemen as the same I
00:10:03
wouldn't do that there are obviously bad
00:10:06
cops there are Bad actors in every
00:10:08
single industry the problem is lumping
00:10:10
them all in together and I'm glad she
00:10:12
hit on that it's just an important thing
00:10:13
to reiterate anytime you get because
00:10:14
that was such an important topic of
00:10:16
discussion for three years my defunding
00:10:18
the police is like a solution I think
00:10:19
you can already see the effects of
00:10:21
defunding the police there's more crime
00:10:22
there's more things that are happening
00:10:24
and I think that's what's caused most of
00:10:25
the problems in Portland groups of
00:10:27
people come breaking into going into
00:10:28
stores and just overwhelming the clerks
00:10:30
and running off with thousands of
00:10:32
dollars in merchandise yes they are
00:10:34
overwhelming the clerks but also there
00:10:35
are not enough policemen in these big
00:10:37
blue cities like Portland and San
00:10:39
Francisco to be able to go after those
00:10:40
criminals and the DA's are now saying
00:10:43
you know we don't have enough manpower
00:10:44
for that so those Petty crimes we're not
00:10:45
even going to try to go after them
00:10:46
because we don't have the Manpower we
00:10:47
don't have the energy we don't have the
00:10:49
time there's no point that's why Whole
00:10:51
Foods are closing in San Francisco why
00:10:53
they're having to shut down coffee shops
00:10:54
in different parts of different cities
00:10:56
because crime is so rampant because
00:10:57
there's not enough manpower to deal with
00:11:01
that crime and the DA's just don't care
00:11:03
a lot of that is Soros funded but that's
00:11:04
a topic for another day because there's
00:11:06
no police to handle that and I don't
00:11:08
think that has to do with race at all I
00:11:10
think it just has to do with the police
00:11:11
not having enough funding to hire enough
00:11:13
officers I come from a neighborhood
00:11:15
that's over police I know people who've
00:11:16
gotten killed by the police you know I
00:11:18
don't hate all police I hate the system
00:11:20
that is there when you look at the
00:11:22
school the city streets the money can go
00:11:24
to a different place and I don't think
00:11:26
that being to fully defend the police
00:11:27
because I think that the police does
00:11:28
serve a purpose it's a balanced take
00:11:30
it's a very very balanced take you can
00:11:32
have had bad experiences and want the
00:11:35
system to be changed you can want things
00:11:36
to change for your children especially
00:11:38
if you grew up in a certain area but you
00:11:39
can still say like they are important
00:11:42
and I think she's making a good point
00:11:43
here saying you know if we're paying all
00:11:44
this money I want to see you on every
00:11:45
street corner protecting me that also is
00:11:47
an important Point wait but that's not
00:11:48
conflict that you said that you want to
00:11:49
see I'm saying
00:11:51
are paying for you if the budget is
00:11:53
getting
00:11:54
in what do you think about BLM it's like
00:11:56
an organization do you think it was a
00:11:57
success or a failure for any political
00:11:59
movement like the Occupy Movement it
00:12:00
failed because it didn't have a
00:12:01
centralized message so I think BLM was
00:12:03
really successful in that sense but
00:12:04
because they had such an easy platform
00:12:06
to work off of I think that it became
00:12:08
like a really performative thing but I
00:12:09
think there's more awareness generally
00:12:11
than there was when like from talking to
00:12:14
my mom from when my mom was a kid so I
00:12:15
think it's progress in that sense
00:12:16
there's more awareness but about
00:12:19
something that is overblown
00:12:21
that a lot of times they made up before
00:12:24
the facts were even out there before
00:12:25
there was even autopsies done before
00:12:27
body cam footage was even shown the
00:12:29
media created a narrative there is more
00:12:32
awareness about that narrative that does
00:12:34
not necessarily mean that there is more
00:12:35
awareness about the truth that does not
00:12:37
mean that there's more awareness about
00:12:38
productive solutions that are actually
00:12:40
based on common sense would benefit a
00:12:42
majority of people for some racial
00:12:43
groups historically distrust of police
00:12:45
is for valid reasons but when public
00:12:47
schools in Denver are showing students
00:12:48
videos that claim police haven't trained
00:12:51
to see people of color as criminals and
00:12:53
instructing students to avoid the police
00:12:55
are we also teaching Society to just
00:12:58
start assuming that all police are
00:13:00
racist yes we are
00:13:02
for a while that's
00:13:04
overstatement yes we are and with the
00:13:06
impact of these movements and media's
00:13:08
capitalizations of these certain
00:13:09
narratives are we furthering the Dubai
00:13:11
by literally and figuratively only
00:13:14
seeing black and white because from 2020
00:13:16
to 2021 there's nearly 150 jump in a
00:13:19
total of 11 000 anti-asian attacks but
00:13:23
did we really hear about it I've heard
00:13:25
about the stop Asian hate movement like
00:13:27
a little bit I really have not heard
00:13:28
about the movement at all because it
00:13:30
wasn't advantageous because it didn't
00:13:32
get enough clicks because these
00:13:34
movements aren't actually rooted in
00:13:35
trying to create change I mean I think
00:13:36
that they were when they were first
00:13:37
started but it just grows into something
00:13:39
that is overblown and performative so
00:13:40
people actually don't care if they're
00:13:42
uplifting all people and they're
00:13:43
stopping violence against all people
00:13:44
they're just jumping onto the most
00:13:46
popular thing because that feels good to
00:13:48
do they don't care about the other stuff
00:13:49
that's going on because it's not as
00:13:50
popular they won't get as much attention
00:13:51
as acknowledged we all have biases based
00:13:54
on personal experience that dictate the
00:13:56
attention we pay on issues but why is it
00:13:58
that even in the media's climate of
00:13:59
race-baiting anti-asian attacks were not
00:14:02
really talked about because when the
00:14:03
anti-asian attacks were at its peak
00:14:05
seeing that for once the media was doing
00:14:07
everything to not mention the race of
00:14:09
the perpetrator but it wasn't just the
00:14:11
media Asian leaders were also silent I'm
00:14:13
not gonna lie I forgot about that I
00:14:15
forgot it was it was a coordinated
00:14:16
propaganda campaign because you had
00:14:18
these two movements going on you had BLM
00:14:21
which was painting all black people as a
00:14:23
victim all white people as white
00:14:24
supremacists were still seeing the
00:14:25
ramifications of that today I mean just
00:14:27
look at the Denver curriculum what
00:14:28
they're teaching people they're teaching
00:14:29
kids saying like you are inherently
00:14:31
better than these other students or you
00:14:32
are inherently a victim we all know that
00:14:34
that's going on but at the same time you
00:14:36
had this rise in Asian hate and the
00:14:39
majority of those crimes and this is not
00:14:41
racism this is just statistics they are
00:14:43
committed by black people but they could
00:14:45
not say that because that would go
00:14:47
against the biggest movement that was
00:14:48
going on so that movement then could not
00:14:50
grow because they weren't actually you
00:14:51
know saying how what was actually
00:14:53
happening they were hiding parts of the
00:14:55
truth because that would conflict with
00:14:57
the current thing that they were it's
00:14:58
it's so stupid you can't take any of
00:15:00
this seriously as it grows this big you
00:15:03
can't take the media seriously because
00:15:05
they're lying to you because they're
00:15:06
cherry picking what stories to tell you
00:15:08
a white man is in police custody accused
00:15:11
of killing eight people at three spas in
00:15:13
Cherokees then when it's a white guy
00:15:14
then it's just fine to say that it's
00:15:17
going on because then that that's the
00:15:19
key because then it fits into the other
00:15:21
narrative it fits into the BLM thing it
00:15:23
fits into the current thing a white dude
00:15:25
was arrested after he opened fire at
00:15:26
numerous massage parlors killing eight
00:15:28
people with six being Asian women and
00:15:31
immediately media Outlets as well as
00:15:33
Asian celebrities began to tie the
00:15:35
incident to anti-asian hate misogyny and
00:15:37
especially white supremacy talking about
00:15:40
the race of the victims or perpetrators
00:15:42
help solve racism or create more
00:15:44
division I'm not scared of saying that
00:15:46
someone's black or someone's Asian right
00:15:47
like it's a descriptor and it can go
00:15:50
both ways it can either make you
00:15:51
sympathize with them or it can kind of
00:15:53
give you an understanding of what might
00:15:55
have caused the situation to happen I
00:15:57
think it's necessary but at the same
00:15:58
time that shouldn't be the cause of why
00:16:01
it's in the headline that's the key we
00:16:03
should not be totally race blind when we
00:16:06
are you know reporting these things
00:16:07
because like the woman said it is an
00:16:09
important descriptor but I think the
00:16:10
problem comes into play when the media
00:16:12
is omitting a race or intentionally
00:16:15
highlighting it and Blasting it
00:16:16
everywhere because they know
00:16:18
this is going to do really well this is
00:16:19
going to feed into whatever movement
00:16:21
whatever the current thing is do you
00:16:22
think there's sometimes unequal
00:16:23
coverages to not talk about certain
00:16:26
races whenever they attack a certain
00:16:28
race the ratio attacks that go against
00:16:30
black people are obviously I think more
00:16:32
covered because of America's history for
00:16:33
the most part in the history of black
00:16:35
versus white thing we don't discuss when
00:16:37
people in the Muslim Muslim Community
00:16:38
get killed or murdered or assaulted it
00:16:41
shouldn't matter more but we don't
00:16:42
because of issues that we've had with
00:16:44
Muslims from 9 11 hate crimes to Trump
00:16:47
trying to implement a Muslim ban in
00:16:49
2016. Muslim hate has persisted in the
00:16:52
states it's especially when we look at
00:16:54
the issue globally it becomes apparent
00:16:55
that there's a hierarchy of coverage
00:16:57
around racial violence because let's say
00:16:59
that allegedly there's a possible
00:17:00
genocide going on it seems obvious to me
00:17:03
that we should probably all know about
00:17:05
it
00:17:07
there's no so-called genocide called
00:17:09
first labor the uyghur Muslims are a
00:17:12
minority group of 12 million living in
00:17:13
shanjin it's just crazy I'm so glad that
00:17:16
he is bringing this up because it is
00:17:17
infuriating when we've spent you know
00:17:19
the last three years since 2020 having
00:17:22
all of this racial stuff shoved down
00:17:24
I've heard this is literally genocide
00:17:25
it's literally white supremacy how could
00:17:27
one race do this to another this is we
00:17:29
live in this awful terrible country and
00:17:31
then they completely turn a blind eye to
00:17:33
things that are going on on the other
00:17:35
side of the world where an actual
00:17:36
genocide is happening where people are
00:17:38
actually enslaved because of their
00:17:39
ethnic background that is actually
00:17:41
happening we buy products from companies
00:17:43
that use the slave labor and we don't
00:17:45
even think about it because that's
00:17:47
outside of our little bubble we don't
00:17:48
care because America is so traumatic and
00:17:51
so bad that we just have to focus on
00:17:53
that no [ __ ] wake up you live in
00:17:55
literally the freest country in the
00:17:56
world does that mean that we are you
00:17:58
know absolved from having problems no we
00:17:59
have a lot of problems we have to work
00:18:00
on those but you can at least be
00:18:01
grateful to live in a place where you
00:18:04
are able to criticize your government
00:18:06
where you are able to create these crazy
00:18:08
movements that are often meaningless and
00:18:10
overblown you have the right to do that
00:18:12
other countries you can't do that at
00:18:15
least be grateful for that and open your
00:18:16
eyes to the fact that this is happening
00:18:18
across the world on massive levels much
00:18:20
more than it is ever happening here it's
00:18:22
just it's asinine to me being considered
00:18:24
an autonomous Zone in China and it's
00:18:27
estimated that around 3.5 million uyghur
00:18:29
Muslims are currently interned in prison
00:18:30
camps at the Chinese government calls
00:18:33
re-education centers we set up the
00:18:35
Education and Training Center for those
00:18:38
who have conducted minor offenses of
00:18:41
radical extremism and despite their
00:18:43
initial denial leaked minor offenses of
00:18:46
radical extremism documents in satellite
00:18:48
imagery have uncovered human rights
00:18:50
violations From Slavery torture hence
00:18:53
terrorizations it's so it begs the
00:18:55
question how is this not general
00:18:57
knowledge well what do you think are
00:18:59
like the media's motives for lying about
00:19:01
racial violence we accompanies want to
00:19:03
keep their advertisers the purpose of
00:19:05
the news is to report on the news like
00:19:07
the truth right ideally I think the
00:19:09
truth is always subjective in the news
00:19:10
it's definitely being played up blown
00:19:12
out no [ __ ] out of proportion in a lot
00:19:14
of aspects there will always be some
00:19:16
sort of racial tension it's just reviews
00:19:17
I try not to feed into it because it's
00:19:19
nothing good coming out of that how do
00:19:21
you get your news and information then
00:19:22
look Beyond just the stories because
00:19:24
there's a lot of little anecdotes but I
00:19:26
take all of it with a grain of salt try
00:19:27
to just not be as unbiased as possible
00:19:29
with what I'm looking at you know
00:19:31
someone aspiring to build a media
00:19:33
company maybe I need to look at myself
00:19:35
in the mirror and see that I'm not so
00:19:37
innocent either I gotta be self-aware
00:19:39
too right do you think this line of
00:19:40
questioning is actually helping in the
00:19:42
racial tensions or do you think this is
00:19:43
actually adding to it General I'm very
00:19:45
much put everything out on the table
00:19:46
that's so awesome that was like very
00:19:49
very self-aware that was very kind and
00:19:51
the fact that he is asking people this
00:19:52
it obviously just shows that he really
00:19:54
cares about doing good work again follow
00:19:56
Jen guys he's fantastic I think what
00:19:58
you're doing is you probably have
00:19:59
questions and your audience likely has
00:20:01
questions and you're the person who
00:20:03
chooses to ask them because there's not
00:20:05
much that can be done on what media will
00:20:06
cover but it's always up to us to have
00:20:08
conversations with those we disagree
00:20:10
with and it's only then that we can stop
00:20:12
looking at the the world through black
00:20:13
and white that's awesome again killer
00:20:16
video absolutely love it you made some
00:20:17
fantastic points and I always love
00:20:19
reading the comments under his videos
00:20:20
because people are really really
00:20:21
intelligent they just have you know some
00:20:22
great thoughts about it like one person
00:20:24
said I'm actually impressed that there
00:20:25
wasn't somebody trying to say that the
00:20:27
media is 100 truthful and right about
00:20:28
racial violence the only guy that even
00:20:30
dipped into that was the guy at the
00:20:32
beginning who said that he totally
00:20:33
trusted the media but we really didn't
00:20:35
hear anything else that he said
00:20:36
everybody else was surprisingly very
00:20:38
balanced and self-aware I think that
00:20:40
just goes to show that once you get
00:20:41
people offline and you get away from all
00:20:43
the craziness on social media people do
00:20:45
have a lot more common sense and they're
00:20:46
you know willing to find common ground
00:20:48
it's harder but I think that they're
00:20:50
actually willing to somebody said the
00:20:51
social awareness in this video is
00:20:53
incredible again it's very impressive
00:20:54
another person commented and said when
00:20:56
asked how to end racism A wise man once
00:20:58
said stop talking about it
00:21:00
but you know what the racial divide
00:21:02
makes a lot of money it gets a lot of
00:21:04
clicks it fuels a lot of anger it fuels
00:21:06
a lot of energy there are you know money
00:21:09
making opportunities in creating that
00:21:11
divide and so it is advantageous for
00:21:13
them which is really really sad because
00:21:14
I do think it would make our society
00:21:15
better if we just moved on from it if we
00:21:17
stopped making it such a big issue if we
00:21:19
stopped blowing it out of proportion
00:21:20
because it's not like we are avoiding
00:21:21
something that's you know really
00:21:23
happening and we're pushing it away no
00:21:24
we are just actually going to be
00:21:26
truthful about it that would be a great
00:21:27
start and then stop lying about it and
00:21:29
admitting it and then I think we would
00:21:31
be on a better path somebody said this
00:21:32
country preaches Unity but practices
00:21:34
division there are 10 different ways to
00:21:35
tell the same story things are reported
00:21:37
the way that they are for a reason and
00:21:39
again to make money to get clicks so per
00:21:41
usual Jen's audience has a lot of common
00:21:44
sense they're great
00:21:45
um thanks for producing that video dude
00:21:46
it was awesome
