Tras un buen tiempo realizando pruebas para fabricar un filamento Pet de botellas recicladas… Por fin me he decidido a publicar mis resultados, he conseguido generar un filamento pet de botellas con la calidad suficiente para que sea fluido y sin atascos ninguno. En este primer video veréis como he fabricado mi hotend a partir de una pistola de silicona, que ya cumplió con su labor, y una chapa de aluminio que muy generosamente me dieron en un negocio que fabrica ventanas, puertas y demás estructuras de aluminio, esta chapa que me dieron era de sus retales de desecho. Se que puede ser un poco laborioso hacer lo que se ve en el video, pero como siempre digo, esto es solo una forma de hacerlo, la que he hecho yo, que puede servir de guía o inspiración a otras personas para que lo realicen a su manera y con los recursos que tengan a su alcance. Este hotend se conecta directamente a la corriente eléctrica, en mi caso 220v, no necesita ninguna electrónica adicional, ya que como las pistolas de silicona la temperatura se regula sola, una temperatura que es más que suficiente para moldear las tiras de botellas para transformarlas en un cilindro con las medidas perfectas para nuestra impresora 3D.
