I have received a report that the BN220 GPS module together with the iFlight micro BEC has caused the BN220 GPS module to burn out. In this video I have demonstrated this isolated power supply option with the Matek SAM M8Q. I have had zero issues with using this and I do get fast satellite locks with it. I am also now using the Matek 2-8s Micro BEC. The Matek GPS module and the Matek Micro BEC may have additional circuitry protection over that of the BN220 (or similar) modules.
