Today we're going to talk about how worry affects your cells. While stress can be good for us, to help us adapt to it and become better—chronic stress and anxiety can be dangerous. When someone experiences worry, stress, or anxiety, their immune cells become paralyzed. This can lead to many different health problems and is also why stress typically comes right before someone gets sick. With a panic attack, in many cases, people will stop breathing and have a feeling of losing control. A lack of oxygen can significantly affect your physiology. Typically, when a person is in a state of chronic anxiety, their cells will stop moving. Even the brain's frontal lobe will stop firing, causing a lack of decision-making. Chronic anxiety can cripple someone's mental function leading to a loss of creativity, appetite, sleep, and recovery. While getting your diet on track can help tremendously, there are other natural things you can do for stress and anxiety as well. How to manage anxiety and stress: 1. Get into motion (exercise in nature ) 2. Speed up your body 3. Control your breathing (try yoga and pilates) 4.
