we might as well start it out with the00:01:26
bigger parts what I'm using this is a00:01:29
PSE focus this is not the Excel version00:01:33
this is the standard axle axle version I00:01:36
guess if you want to look at it that way00:01:37
for me I think with the size of the cams00:01:41
on this Bo and the axle that axle that00:01:43
it was said it actually fits me for a00:01:45
string angled really well I like this00:01:47
one a lot that being said I haven't00:01:49
actually tried the Excel version sure00:01:51
it's an awesome bow too but I've had00:01:53
some longer axial axial bows in that00:01:55
range before in the past and well I can00:01:58
still be incredibly comfortable with00:01:59
them I don't know that it fits me as00:02:01
well have a longer nose so the angle00:02:03
that I like is a little bit steeper it00:02:04
seems to fit me and work better for just00:02:06
personal feel and what I'm doing with it00:02:09
along with this bow a couple things that00:02:11
I'll point out really quickly I00:02:13
we have this little grip pad here on the00:02:16
end of it this is boo dad's it's it's00:02:19
for pistol grips but it's he sent me out00:02:22
a sheet of it that I purchased and I00:02:24
just cut it off measured it and put it00:02:25
on there so when I was shooting my last00:02:28
indoor event for the season my hands00:02:31
towards the end of the round it was an00:02:32
incredibly good round happening for me00:02:34
and I got a little bit nervous towards00:02:36
the end of my hands started to sweat00:02:37
pretty well and I actually had my hand I00:02:40
use a low grip so my hand has a tendency00:02:43
to want to slide up some if I'm not00:02:44
careful but I actually had it slide up00:02:46
as I was shooting my hand my finger got00:02:49
up here without a closed riser like I've00:02:51
had on my PSC's in the past and some00:02:53
other bows my finger actually ended up00:02:56
hitting the vein of an arrow and did00:02:58
that twice and I don't know if it's a00:03:02
testament to the equipment that I have00:03:04
in the way that my arrows are set up or00:03:06
just dumb luck but I still ended up00:03:09
hitting the X on the target so I got00:03:10
lucky on it but after that I decided I'm00:03:12
going to put something back here00:03:14
I don't like grip wrap I've used that in00:03:16
the past like the hockey tape or the00:03:17
tennis racket tape that wraps around it00:03:20
adds thickness to the grip don't really00:03:21
like how it feels this is super thin I00:03:24
don't notice any change and like00:03:26
perceived Rawling feel or anything with00:03:27
it that way so I'm gonna be testing this00:03:29
out see how it goes00:03:31
a lot of different other versions and00:03:34
things you can use but I use this it's00:03:36
kind of a rubber material and it's not00:03:38
really abrasive on my hand so I seem to00:03:40
like that more air arrest hemp ski00:03:43
arrest this is the micro adjust version00:03:46
of it it's a target pro model I've got00:03:49
the engraving there with our CRT I00:03:51

it was kind of tugging and pulling on00:04:22
the cams and I don't know just peace of00:04:24
mind I like it better on the limbs I00:04:25
don't seem to have any00:04:26
shoot with it I'm using their Teflon00:04:30
launcher blade here00:04:32
it's a taper launch launcher I don't00:04:35

seems to work really well I didn't use a00:04:40
backer plate on the metal version that I00:04:42
had on here that comes standard with00:04:43
them and this just seems to fit any of00:04:46
my arrows my 26 is 23 is indoor/outdoor00:04:49
I'm not having to really worry about it00:04:51
or mess with the extra tuning or00:04:52
anything this was asked about a couple00:04:54

here this actually comes with the arrow00:04:58
rest from ham ski and I use that on00:05:01
there because when I'm loading an arrow00:05:02
on there it helps me be able to keep00:05:05
everything intact without it wanting to00:05:07
fall or slide around or anything as I'm00:05:09
going to draw back so it seems to work00:05:11
really well of course the site XL a00:05:14
chief sight this is the carbon rod it's00:05:17
a six inch rod I don't like the really00:05:21
long sight bars I'm not gonna hang it00:05:23
out there do anything crazy with it00:05:24
actually run it in a little bit closer00:05:25

you can change the colors on it I use a00:05:54
clear fiber and you can run it through00:05:56
with blue red or green and I've just00:05:59
personally liked the blue that seems to00:06:00
work best for me but that runs into a00:06:04

what I used for my indoor setup outdoor00:06:09
setup it works for 3d it's a little00:06:12

kind of a vision blocker I'd 3d printed00:06:32

scope that I was using it just seems to00:06:36
help me with the lens my left I wanted00:06:38
to kind of take over00:06:39

consistent feel on what I was looking at00:06:43
so that blocker eliminates that it00:06:45
allows me to have both eyes I can be a00:06:47
little bit more comfortable lens wise00:06:49
I'm using a feather vision for X lens00:06:52
not a huge lens never used one in the00:06:55
past until recently I like it you will00:06:58
see a little bit more perceived motion00:06:59
when you go to a lens so keep that in00:07:01
mind don't do anything really crazy if00:07:03
you've never used one don't put in a 600:07:04
or 8 X lens and go it's gonna be a shock00:07:08
to your brain what you see so just you00:07:11
know as a heads up on that bars these00:07:15
are the conquests back down bars they're00:07:19
the 625 s I personally like these 625 s00:07:24
a lot they're thin enough that if I want00:07:26
to use them outdoors I don't notice any00:07:28
kind of weirdness with the wind but00:07:30
they're not so small that they have a00:07:31
lot of residual vibrations so they seem00:07:33
to dampen everything pretty well I do00:07:36
run a decent amount of weight these00:07:38
larger stack weights here that you can00:07:39
get from conquest this is 8 ounces00:07:41
I believe this one in the front is 100:07:44
ounce maybe 2 so I'm running 9 10 ounces00:07:46

sometimes I just use it kind of train00:09:56

carbon the way that I have them cut00:11:08
right now with two hundred grains00:11:09
upfront their top hat points and I have00:11:11
the brass screw in inserts on the inside00:11:16
of these that I put in there and I just00:11:17
glued those in whenever I find the one00:11:19
that I like and I just use hot melt or00:11:22
cold another I don't believe actually I00:11:24
think it's cold melt that I just put in00:11:25
there and same thing that I glue the00:11:27
points in so I'll just kind of sticks in00:11:28
there together range finder loophole so00:11:34
arts 1200 it's got adjustment for slants00:11:39
and stuff like that if you need that I00:11:41

maintaining solid pressure in the system00:12:29
and then a small movement after that to00:12:32
actually activate the shot other00:12:34
releases I use frequently when I'm00:12:37
switching things up or kind of changing00:12:38
things around is the true ball abyss00:12:40
flex this is the thumb model version00:12:43
that kind of coincides with the fulcrum00:12:46
flex its um it's a little bit different00:12:49
on the feel on the anchor of it angled00:12:51
ahead of the release and stuff and00:12:53
actually shoved it over a little bit so00:12:54
change it some even more if you don't00:12:57
know you can actually adjust the head of00:12:59
the release left and right you can do00:13:00
the same thing on the fulcrum flex to00:13:02
change the balance point kind of how it00:13:04
feels in your hand you'll notice on this00:13:06
one it's a four finger version when I00:13:08
shoot a thumb release a lot I like the00:13:10
extra leverage on there not rocking or00:13:13
rotating the release but it keeps a good00:13:14
flat hand for me and it seems to be more00:13:17
concerned when I'm placing my thumb on the thumb00:13:18
peg and actually pulling through square00:13:21
peg they're half-inch diameter on the00:13:25
standard peg this is 3/4 so bigger00:13:29
obviously I just like that better00:13:31
because my hand seems to fit just the00:13:33
way that I'm using it my thumb is00:13:34
further away so if I have to use that00:13:36
half inch it seems like it gets too far00:13:37
in it's harder for me to execute with it00:13:39
personally I like the square peg I00:13:42
designed this because I was having00:13:44
issues with my thumb kind of slipping00:13:45
around this has a little bit of an edge00:13:48
and a grip that I can put on here that00:13:50
kind of catches as I'm pulling through00:13:51
and executing my shot so I use this as a00:13:55
training tool mostly if I start feeling00:13:58
weird with the hinge release or00:14:00
something gets nachi on it I actually00:14:01
pull this out and I use it a lot the00:14:03
same as a tension release like a car00:14:05
revolution stand element those type00:14:07
where as it's here and I don't worry00:14:09
about activating thumb or doing anything00:14:11
I just continually pull through and it's00:14:13
just working on the consistent thumb00:14:15
pressure on that thumb peg to begin with00:14:17
so it's kind of a reset button for me00:14:19
something that I like to use last little00:14:23
thing when it comes down to just odds00:14:25
and ends I actually use stuck-up archery00:14:28

targets I purchased it because they're00:15:16
economically priced they're multi-layer00:15:19
foam targets and they hold up really00:15:22
well especially for the price now you'll00:15:25
see here it looks a little bit different00:15:26
than maybe what you've seen in the past00:15:28
this is actually a face that you can buy00:15:30
they come with the targets when you buy00:15:32
a new but I purchased this one00:15:33
separately and you get them at different00:15:35
thicknesses and different sizes but this00:15:37
has helped the longevity of this target00:15:39
for me it was actually starting to get00:15:40
kind of worn down it's it's older it's00:15:43
still starting to move and it shifts00:15:45
around a little bit when you're looking00:15:46
at it and got to readjust it because the00:15:48
the foam is actually getting really worn00:15:50
out but it's three years old it gets00:15:52
shot a lot smaller so everything's kind00:15:54
of compacted in there00:15:57
this phone face you're looking at right00:15:58
now probably has a close to a thousand00:16:01
arrows in it with what you're seeing00:16:02
some of these bigger holes and shifting00:16:04
the targets up and down and left and00:16:05

throw that out there they make some00:16:17
targets now that you can get in stiffer00:16:20
banding meaning how hard they're00:16:22
compacting them together for higher00:16:24
poundage targets all the way to youth00:16:25
the targets that are looser banding so00:16:27
the aerials can actually stick in there00:16:28
first its bouncing out and coming back00:16:30
at them so have you ever seen that00:16:33
before over the youth bow but it's an00:16:34
interesting situation to see an arrow00:16:36
come flying back at a kid so super00:16:40
awesome love these targets recommend00:16:43
them for everybody I think there's still00:16:45
a little bit behind in production it00:16:47
seems like that they keep a lot of00:16:49
orders going through but no the weights00:16:51
not as long as it used to be so keep00:16:53
