00:00:31
for 15 years now for 12 years I've been
00:00:33
an evangelist and I travel around and
00:00:35
speak on creation evolution and
00:00:37
dinosaurs honored to be here in Coeur
00:00:42
d'Alene Idaho my first time to preach in
00:00:43
your city
00:00:44
how many been to one of my seminars
00:00:45
before or have seen one of the tapes
00:00:47
before Oh quite a few ok how many have
00:00:49
not and how many do not understand the
00:00:53
question so far ok that's what I thought
00:00:57
well great it's an honor to be here I
00:01:00
tell folks right up front before I get
00:01:01
started too far because I don't want
00:01:03
anybody sneaking up on me I believe the
00:01:05
Bible is the infallible inspired
00:01:07
inerrant Word of the Living God
00:01:08
I believe it from cover to cover I even
00:01:11
believe the cover on mine says can't
00:01:12
holes and I believe that and what I try
00:01:15
to do in my seminars have three distinct
00:01:17
goals number one I want to strengthen
00:01:18
your faith in the Word of God number two
00:01:20
if you're not saved I'm gonna try to get
00:01:22
you saved I'm after you I'll tell you
00:01:24
right now I'm after you okay number
00:01:26
three if you're saved and you're not
00:01:27
doing much for the Lord then I'm gonna
00:01:28
try to make you uncomfortable
00:01:31
everybody ought to find something to do
00:01:33
for the Lord okay the worst of you could
00:01:34
serve as bad examples if nothing else
00:01:37
you can all find something to do for the
00:01:39
Lord
00:01:40
alright this this is not my wife this is
00:01:46
just a picture of her
00:01:48
we live in Pensacola Florida I've been
00:01:51
there 12 years we have three kids one of
00:01:53
each my kids are at this time 21 22 23 a
00:01:59
year in two weeks apart we call that
00:02:01
family planning where I come from got
00:02:04
the two boys married off now and as soon
00:02:05
as I find someone to take over payments
00:02:06
on my daughter I'm gonna be home free so
00:02:10
that's that's the plan one of my hobbies
00:02:11
for many years I have been collecting
00:02:13
science books I like science and you can
00:02:16
ask me my kids or ask my wife when I get
00:02:18
bored doesn't do off etre on our place I
00:02:20
just read science books I like science
00:02:22
taught it for 15 years even though I'm
00:02:25
not teaching it anymore I still like the
00:02:26
study has so many neat things to learn
00:02:28
and there's an awful lot of good science
00:02:30
in these books but folks there are some
00:02:32
lies in our science books now I'm not
00:02:35
against science I'm not against schools
00:02:36
and not against teachers my brothers in
00:02:38
his 34th year teach in public school my
00:02:40
mom retired from teaching public school
00:02:41
there's an awful lot of good godly
00:02:43
teachers in the system but there's some
00:02:45
poison in these books we're gonna cover
00:02:47
some of that tonight Richard Dawkins who
00:02:49
hates creationists said it is absolutely
00:02:52
safe to say that if you meet someone who
00:02:54
claims not to believe in evolution that
00:02:56
person is ignorant stupid or insane or
00:03:00
wicked hmm well Richard I'll send you a
00:03:05
copy of this tape because I'm gonna show
00:03:07
you one hundred reasons why evolution is
00:03:09
so stupid we need to define a few terms
00:03:12
okay according to the dictionary stupid
00:03:15
means
00:03:16
lacking normal intelligence foolish
00:03:20
silly a stupid idea
00:03:22
dull and boring I think evolution is
00:03:26
stupid now my mommy used to get mad at
00:03:29
me when I use that word so it's a little
00:03:30
hard to beat but bill said no hoping I
00:03:31
want you to preach on a hundred reasons
00:03:32
why evolution is stupid okay bill well
00:03:35
you asked for it so here goes all right
00:03:36
let's define some other terms now the
00:03:39
word evolution has at least six
00:03:40
different meanings and you've done 58
00:03:42
debates now and if you're gonna get into
00:03:43
a debate on evolution with anybody you
00:03:45
better first define what you're talking
00:03:47
about because this is a very slippery
00:03:49
term okay first we have cosmic evolution
00:03:50
that would be the Big Bang there is no
00:03:52
evidence whatsoever for that we'll get
00:03:54
into that in just a moment then we'd
00:03:55
have to have chemical evolution see the
00:03:57
Big Bang supposedly made hydrogen how
00:03:59
did we get 92 elements plus the
00:04:01
synthetic ones I mean how did the
00:04:04
chemicals evolve they don't talk about
00:04:06
that much but that would have to happen
00:04:07
thirdly would have to have stellar and
00:04:09
planetary evolution you know the stars
00:04:10
would have to evolve there's an awful
00:04:12
lot of stars out there folks but
00:04:14
nobody's ever seen one form there's
00:04:16
enough stars out there that everybody on
00:04:18
earth can personally own two trillion of
00:04:20
them
00:04:22
we've never seen one star-forming we see
00:04:25
them blow up from time to time is called
00:04:27
a nova or a supernova we've never seen
00:04:28
one form one professor told me one time
00:04:31
he said well we calculated in the
00:04:32
laboratory that if 20 stars explode near
00:04:35
each other it'll produce enough energy
00:04:36
to make a brand new star
00:04:38
I said that's brilliant you got to lose
00:04:40
20 to gain one you ought to run for
00:04:43
Congress you could up those guys borrow
00:04:44
their way out of debt first place
00:04:50
that's all theoretical we've never seen
00:04:51
it happen okay and I think it is
00:04:53
scientifically impossible see then we'd
00:04:56
have to have organic evolution that
00:04:58
would be the origin of life how did life
00:05:00
get started from nonliving material now
00:05:02
according to the evolution theory that
00:05:03
would have to happen somewhere along the
00:05:05
line long ago and far away life had to
00:05:08
come from nonliving material and yet
00:05:10
we've never seen that happen there is no
00:05:12
evidence that it can happen we'll talk
00:05:13
about that in a minute
00:05:14
faithfully we would have macro-evolution
00:05:16
that is where an animal changes into a
00:05:18
different kind of animal nobody's ever
00:05:21
seen a dog produce a non dog but the
00:05:25
evolutionist believes a dog came from a
00:05:27
rock if you go back far enough in time
00:05:29
4.6 billion years finally we have Micro
00:05:32
evolution I don't like this word okay because it
00:05:34
gets people confused I think we ought to
00:05:35
just call it a variation but micro
00:05:38
evolution happens folks that is a fact
00:05:40
of science animals produce a variety of
00:05:43
offspring but it's always the same kind
00:05:45
the first five definitions of evolution
00:05:48
are stupid it doesn't happen it's
00:05:52
certainly not part of science is
00:05:53
something have to believe in they teach
00:05:55
the kids it all started with the Big
00:05:56
Bang 20 billion years ago a Big Bang I
00:06:00
like to ask him some simple questions
00:06:02
what exploded
00:06:07
and we're gonna come from and where the
00:06:09
energy comes from etc etc according to
00:06:11
the Big Bang Theory it all started a
00:06:12
little tiny dot and exploded and spread
00:06:15
out over all the universe and much
00:06:16
faster than the speed of light well the
00:06:18
Big Bang Theory as we'll see in a minute
00:06:19
is stupid I don't know of a better way
00:06:21
to say it I'm trying to be nice to him
00:06:23
but it is just stupid the Big Bang idea
00:06:24
thought started with a Belgian
00:06:25
astronomer named George something can't
00:06:28
pronounce his last name George said that
00:06:31
this original matter was no more than a
00:06:33
few light-years in diameter at the very
00:06:36
least that would be 2 or about 12
00:06:38
trillion miles so they started off
00:06:40
teaching at a spot 12 trillion miles
00:06:42
across was what exploded well they
00:06:46
revised that down in 1965 they said no
00:06:48
it was only 275 million miles across
00:06:50
well that's way down from 12 trillion
00:06:54
1972 they said no it's almost 71 million
00:06:56
miles across I don't how they know this
00:06:59
stuff but this is what they talk okay
00:07:00
1974 they said it was only 54,000 miles
00:07:03
across 1983 they said it was the
00:07:06
trillionth the diameter of a proton
00:07:10
now they're saying it's nothing at all
00:07:13
nothing exploded here we are this what
00:07:17
the textbooks teach 18 to 20 billion
00:07:19
years ago all the matter in the universe
00:07:21
was concentrated into one very dense
00:07:23
very hot region that may have been much
00:07:25
smaller than a period on this page
00:07:28
that's stupid
00:07:33
this one says all of the matter and
00:07:35
energy with some day will once again be
00:07:37
packed into a small area no bigger than
00:07:38
the period at the end of this sentence
00:07:40
then another big bang will occur it
00:07:44
happens every 80 to 100 billion years so
00:07:47
you can forget about global warming
00:07:51
we're gonna get squished now this
00:07:55
textbook off it was brilliant I could
00:07:57
not believe how smart this guy was he
00:07:59
said boys and girls nothing really means
00:08:01
nothing you have to be at least that
00:08:05
smart to write a book he said not only
00:08:08
matter and energy which disappear but
00:08:09
also space and time
00:08:11
however physicists theorize that from
00:08:13
this state of nothingness the universe
00:08:16
began in a gigantic explosion what yes
00:08:24
boys and girls you see nothing exploded
00:08:26
and here we are now who can argue with
00:08:28
logic like that man
00:08:30
they even put this in major science
00:08:31
journals like Scientific American this
00:08:33
fellow said the observable universe that
00:08:35
would be us
00:08:36
could have evolved there's that word
00:08:38
again you got to watch that one okay six
00:08:39
meanings from an infinitesimal region in
00:08:42
the Greek that means a dot
00:08:44
it's then tempting to scroll one step
00:08:47
further and speculate that the entire
00:08:48
universe evolved from literally nothing
00:08:50
they call that science and put it in a
00:08:53
science book I would call that stupid
00:08:56
and put it in the garbage
00:08:58
this is what the books teach I collect
00:09:00
them I've got hundreds and hundreds of
00:09:02
these books from countries all over the
00:09:03
world clear back from 1890s up until
00:09:05
2001 textbook they're teaching this kind
00:09:08
of stuff folks this one says all the
00:09:10
matter in the universe was drawn into
00:09:11
this little tiny dot and it's spun
00:09:13
faster and faster this is what they
00:09:15
teach the kids some kids doing this for
00:09:16
homework tonight right it's spun faster
00:09:19
and faster one day before it exploded
00:09:21
big bang I was talking to a professor
00:09:24
from Berkeley one time sitting on the
00:09:25
airplane next to a professor from
00:09:26
Berkeley University I don't know if you
00:09:28
folks here in Idaho ever heard of
00:09:29
Berkeley or not but uh Berkeley is not a
00:09:33
Bible College
00:09:36
we got talking about the Big Bang and he
00:09:37
said he believed in the Big Bang Theory
00:09:39
I said yes sir I figured that you have
00:09:40
to teach at Berkeley
00:09:43
I said tell me sir how did the universe
00:09:44
get here he said well 20 billion years
00:09:47
ago all the matter was squished in this
00:09:48
little tiny dot and it was spinning real
00:09:50
fast and it exploded big bang and pieces
00:09:53
flew off and became the galaxies and the
00:09:54
Sun the Moon stars and finally you know
00:09:56
people here we are
00:09:57
I said sir could I ask you a couple
00:09:59
questions please you know one of my
00:10:01
favorite things to do in life is asking
00:10:03
questions to people who believe in
00:10:04
evolution I absolutely have a wonderful
00:10:06
that's how this whole ministry started
00:10:07
twelve years ago I moved to Pensacola
00:10:09
Florida some article came out of the
00:10:11
newspaper to say dinosaur bones found in
00:10:13
Montana from 80 million years ago I I
00:10:16
wrote my first letter to the editor in
00:10:18
my life about 12 years ago I wrote a
00:10:21
letter to the editor I said yes they
00:10:22
found dinosaur bones and yes it was 40
00:10:24
feet long and yes it was found in
00:10:25
Montana but it was not from 80 million
00:10:27
years ago this one probably drowned in
00:10:28
the flood in the days of Noah 4,400
00:10:30
years ago and you would have thought I
00:10:32
shot the sacred cow actually I did well
00:10:38
there began to be quite a battle in the
00:10:39
newspaper letters to the editor flying
00:10:40
back and forth and finally a university
00:10:42
called me and asked me to do a debate
00:10:43
with one of their professors well I'd
00:10:46
never had a debate in my life except
00:10:47
with my wife and I lost those every time
00:10:50
how-how's I was not excited about
00:10:52
debating but I said how do you do it
00:10:56
what do you want and the guy said we've
00:10:57
sent us 30 questions and the other guys
00:10:59
send in 30 questions and we'll discuss
00:11:00
those questions for the debate
00:11:01
I should okay so I sent him 30 questions
00:11:03
I thought they were perfectly legitimate
00:11:05
fair questions I said a woodpecker stung
00:11:08
goes all the way around the back of his
00:11:09
head and comes on top of his left
00:11:10
eyebrow left nostril here would you
00:11:13
please show me any fossils that have
00:11:15
been found intermediate species between
00:11:16
a normal bird and a woodpecker
00:11:17
you know this tongue going over around
00:11:18
his head what evidence do you have of
00:11:21
how this evolved that question never
00:11:24
came up I don't know what happened to
00:11:25
him I said termites chew on wood and
00:11:28
they swallow it but termites can't
00:11:29
digest it it goes into their stomach and
00:11:31
there's little tiny critters in their
00:11:32
intestines that actually digest the
00:11:33
cellulose now those little critters
00:11:35
can't live without the termite and those
00:11:37
termites can't live without those
00:11:38
critters which one evolve first
00:11:43
I thought it's a fair question but it
00:11:45
never came up I don't know what happened
00:11:46
I think they lost my list
00:11:47
but anyway one of my favorite things to
00:11:50
do was asking questions to people who
00:11:51
believed in evolution
00:11:52
so I asked this professor if I could ask
00:11:54
him some questions about the Big Bang
00:11:55
he said sure what would you like to know
00:11:57
I said well sir he told me 20 billion
00:11:59
years ago all the matter in the universe
00:12:01
was squished in this little tiny dot and
00:12:02
it was spinning faster and faster and
00:12:04
exploded boom I said where did all this
00:12:07
matter come from he said well we don't
00:12:10
know that for sure I said okay now sir
00:12:13
hold it if I told you that I believe
00:12:14
about 6,000 years ago God created the
00:12:16
heaven and the earth like the Bible
00:12:17
teaches you're gonna say and where did
00:12:19
God come from and I don't know but you
00:12:22
said 20 billion years ago there was a
00:12:24
big bang and you don't know where the
00:12:26
dirt came from so basically I believe in
00:12:29
the beginning God and you believe in the
00:12:30
beginning dirt
00:12:34
don't tell me my theory is religious and
00:12:36
yours is science oh no sir they're both
00:12:39
religious the news media tries to make
00:12:42
it looks like it is religion versus
00:12:44
science I did a debate in El Paso Texas
00:12:46
here recently and the news media media
00:12:48
wrote an article they said religious and
00:12:50
scientific leaders debate evolution what
00:12:53
is the unspoken message in that title
00:12:54
what are they trying to imply can you
00:12:56
catch that they're trying to imply that
00:12:58
evolution is part of science aren't they
00:13:00
no evolution is a religion actually both
00:13:04
creation and evolution are inherently
00:13:06
religious these two timelines is the
00:13:09
same information right here I'll be
00:13:10
referring to that throughout the seminar
00:13:11
here I covered this thing all the time
00:13:13
the Bible teaches about 6,000 years ago
00:13:15
God made everything 4,400 years ago
00:13:17
there was a big flood that destroyed
00:13:19
everything 2,000 years ago Jesus came
00:13:21
here we are today waiting for the Lord
00:13:24
to come back in about five minutes this
00:13:27
is the Bible view of history on this
00:13:29
chart one inch is 150 years that's a
00:13:32
long time the 20 billion year chart on
00:13:35
the bottom is a very different scale but
00:13:38
see both views creation and evolution
00:13:40
are inherently religious you have to
00:13:42
believe in creation or believe in
00:13:44
evolution the difference between the two
00:13:46
though is very simple the evolution
00:13:47
religion is tax-supported
00:13:51
that's the difference by the way if I
00:13:53
was to make that bottom chart the same
00:13:54
scale as the top chart the bottom chart
00:13:56
actually needs to be 2,100 miles long
00:14:00
that's from Pensacola to Portland Oregon
00:14:03
I don't want to carry a chart that big
00:14:05
so I made a new scale for the other one
00:14:07
okay if they wanna believe it happened
00:14:09
long ago and far away they're welcome to
00:14:11
believe that but that's not science
00:14:12
evolution is a religious worldview and I
00:14:14
think it is stupid so ask the professor
00:14:16
where did the matter come from he said I
00:14:17
don't know I said well sir would you
00:14:19
please tell me where the laws came from
00:14:20
the universe is run by laws gravity
00:14:22
centrifugal force inertia who gave the
00:14:23
laws he said we don't know that either
00:14:26
I said sir could you tell me where the
00:14:29
energy came from you know it takes
00:14:30
energy to make a big bang who bought the
00:14:33
gas to run this machine anyway hmm
00:14:36
he said we don't know that either I said
00:14:40
sir I could ask you another question
00:14:42
he said sure what else would you like to
00:14:44
know we mean else you haven't told me
00:14:48
nothing yet
00:14:49
I said does Berkeley have a
00:14:52
merry-go-round how many of you know what
00:14:55
a merry-go-round is you go run around on
00:14:56
Te Puke okay
00:14:57
he said no we don't have a
00:14:59
merry-go-round at Berkeley I said you
00:15:01
ought to get one you could learn some
00:15:02
good science on a merry-go-round if you
00:15:03
put some 4th graders on a merry-go-round
00:15:04
with any fourth graders in here tonight
00:15:06
who's in fourth grade all right I like
00:15:08
fourth graders I spend the best five
00:15:09
years of my life in the fourth grade
00:15:11
that's before they diagnosed a Dede
00:15:14
what's the fourth graders on the
00:15:16
merry-go-round now I like using fourth
00:15:18
graders because they're tough and
00:15:19
they're expendable and we're gonna get
00:15:22
the high school football team out there
00:15:23
to get that thing spinning clockwise as
00:15:25
fast as it will possibly go now if you
00:15:27
have a digital watch you may not know
00:15:30
what clockwise means
00:15:32
I'll expand it later we're gonna spend
00:15:34
the merry-go-round clockwise the kids
00:15:35
are gonna go with you for faces they
00:15:37
start off in phase one they're screaming
00:15:38
at the football players come on let's go
00:15:39
faster faster can't you go any faster
00:15:41
you get up around 30 miles an hour the
00:15:43
kids enter phase two where they stop
00:15:45
screaming they just quietly concentrate
00:15:46
on trying to hang on for dear life you
00:15:50
get up around 60 miles an hour the kids
00:15:52
enter phase three where they start
00:15:54
screaming again but now they're
00:15:55
screaming stop stop please slow down
00:15:58
don't stop they'll keep going faster and
00:15:59
faster when you get to about a hundred
00:16:01
miles an hour you should enter phase
00:16:02
four that's where the kids begin to fly
00:16:04
off the merry-go-round when this happens
00:16:08
you'll notice a very interesting
00:16:09
phenomena of physics if the
00:16:10
merry-go-round is going clockwise when
00:16:13
the kid flies off the kid will be
00:16:16
spinning clockwise until he encounters
00:16:19
resistance like a tree or telephone pole
00:16:22
that's because of a law in physics known
00:16:23
as the conservation of angular momentum
00:16:25
you see if a spinning object breaks
00:16:27
apart in a frictionless environment the
00:16:29
fragments will all spin the same
00:16:30
direction it's very simple it's because
00:16:32
the outside is moving faster than the
00:16:34
inside and so it keeps the same
00:16:36
direction of spin the professor said yes
00:16:38
I understand about the conservation of
00:16:39
angular momentum
00:16:40
I said well good I'd like to ask you a
00:16:42
question answer if don't universe began
00:16:44
as a swirling dodge like you said why do
00:16:47
two planets spin backwards
00:16:51
he said that's interesting said no
00:16:56
that's more than interesting it's kind
00:16:57
of hard on your Big Bang Theory not only
00:16:59
that six of the moons are spinning
00:17:00
backwards why he said I don't know why
00:17:05
do you think they're going backwards I
00:17:06
was hoping he was gonna ask that I said
00:17:09
well sir I believe it's very simple you
00:17:10
see I believe in the beginning God
00:17:12
created the heaven and the earth and God
00:17:14
did it that way on purpose just to make
00:17:15
the Big Bang Theory look stupid
00:17:26
I do believe in the Big Bang folks I
00:17:28
really do the Bible teaches the Big Bang
00:17:30
2nd Peter 3:10 it says the heavens shall
00:17:32
pass away with a great noise in the
00:17:35
original Greek that's a Big Bang so it
00:17:38
is going to be a Big Bang it just didn't
00:17:39
happen yet that's all so kids if you go
00:17:41
to school if some professor says do you
00:17:43
believe in the Big Bang you should say
00:17:44
yes I do and you better get saved and
00:17:46
get ready for it the Big Bang is coming
00:17:49
soon to a city near you by the way if
00:17:53
the Big Bang Theory were true the matter
00:17:54
would be evenly distributed but it's not
00:17:56
it's lumpy they're called galaxies and
00:17:58
in zillions of miles and nothing called
00:17:59
voids and to try to salvage the dumb Big
00:18:02
Bang Theory they've got all these wild
00:18:04
theories of why is it the matter evenly
00:18:06
distributed they'll say well maybe
00:18:07
there's black holes or maybe there's
00:18:09
antimatter they got all this stuff it's
00:18:11
all trying to rescue this crazy Big Bang
00:18:13
Theory and it's just it's a dud folks it
00:18:16
didn't happen there are zillions of
00:18:18
stars out there I mean lots and lots of
00:18:21
stars and we haven't even seen them all
00:18:22
if star births ought at least equal star
00:18:26
deaths and they don't we see a star blow
00:18:29
up about every 30 years called a nova or
00:18:31
supernova well then how come there are
00:18:34
only 300 dead stars out there that we
00:18:36
can see supernovas it's only a few
00:18:41
thousand years worth isn't it there
00:18:43
ought to be trillions of them if
00:18:45
evolution were true this fella said I
00:18:49
have a little hesitation in saying that
00:18:51
a sickly pall now hangs over the Big
00:18:52
Bang Theory yeah I think it is stupid if
00:18:58
you want to believe it that's fine I
00:18:59
don't care what anybody believes that
00:19:01
doesn't bother me but see the problem is
00:19:02
they want to use my tax dollars to teach
00:19:04
that to your kids in our schools and
00:19:06
that's where the problem comes in okay
00:19:08
if you want to leave in the Big Bang
00:19:09
just to enjoy yourself but keep your
00:19:10
religion at home okay because it is a
00:19:12
religion then they tell the kids the
00:19:14
earth farm from a hot molten mass 4.6
00:19:16
billion years ago this is part of the
00:19:19
theory and it's in all the textbooks 4.6
00:19:21
billion years ago earth cooled down
00:19:22
formed a rocky crust I think that is
00:19:25
stupid and I'll show you why was the
00:19:27
earth ever really a hot molten mass 4.6
00:19:29
billion years ago and it cooled down
00:19:31
this textbook says earth form the
00:19:34
surface was like the moon they were hot
00:19:35
pools of bubbling lava I don't think
00:19:38
so my Bible says the Spirit of God moved
00:19:40
upon the face of the waters so the earth
00:19:43
was not created a hot molten mass it was
00:19:45
created underwater which means has to be
00:19:47
less than 212 degrees Fahrenheit or
00:19:50
hundred degrees centigrade or it
00:19:51
wouldn't be water it'd be steam so the
00:19:53
earth was never a hot molten mass
00:19:55
according to Scripture then when you
00:19:56
look in the granite rocks you find
00:19:58
little tiny halos made of polonium now
00:20:00
these polonium halos are absolutely
00:20:02
amazing Robert Gentry friend of mine
00:20:04
from Knoxville Tennessee area he has
00:20:06
been studying radio polonium haloes for
00:20:09
a long time I met him back in the year
00:20:13
2000 and went down to his laboratory and
00:20:15
I got to see some of the halos through
00:20:16
the microscope these little polonium
00:20:18
halos are interesting because they have
00:20:19
a half-life of less than a few minutes
00:20:21
if the rock was hot when that polonium
00:20:25
radioactive polonium decayed and sent
00:20:27
out the little particles and made the
00:20:28
halo it would melt away like it 4th of
00:20:31
July they shoot fireworks up makes a
00:20:33
circle does the circle stay there no it
00:20:36
all falls down right there probably none
00:20:38
up there now from the last fourth of
00:20:40
July are there you'd have to freeze no
00:20:43
atmosphere to keep that sphere in place
00:20:45
you'd have to make polonium would have
00:20:48
to be decaying in a rock that is already
00:20:51
solid so the earth was never a hot
00:20:53
molten mass get Robert entries book if
00:20:55
you want a lot more on that but all over
00:20:57
the Granite's all over the world contain
00:20:59
these polonium halos so it is stupid to
00:21:01
say the earth was a hot molten mass we
00:21:02
have scientific evidence it was not here
00:21:04
they tell the kids though the earth was
00:21:06
hot with large pools of open lava and
00:21:07
that is just stupid it can't possibly be
00:21:09
true then they tell them life got
00:21:12
started about three billion years ago
00:21:14
see according to the theory 20 billion
00:21:16
years ago there was a big bang 4.6
00:21:18
billion years ago the earth cooled down
00:21:20
formed a hard rocky crust and it rained
00:21:22
on the rocks for millions of years it
00:21:23
turned him into soup and the soup came
00:21:25
alive about three billion years ago this
00:21:28
is what the books teach this fellow says
00:21:30
both the origin of life and the origin
00:21:32
of major groups of animals remains
00:21:34
unknown how did life get started anyway
00:21:37
well this textbook tells the kids oceans
00:21:39
formed as it rained on the rocks for
00:21:40
millions of years yes boys and girls
00:21:43
millions of years of torrential rains
00:21:45
created great oceans and swirling in the
00:21:48
waters of the oceans is a bubbling
00:21:49
broth of complex chemicals progress from
00:21:52
a complex chemical soup to a living
00:21:54
organism is very slow well I guess it is
00:21:58
it's totally stopped doesn't even happen
00:22:00
that's how slow it is this one says the
00:22:02
first self-replicating systems must have
00:22:04
emerged in this organic soup was your
00:22:08
great great great great great great
00:22:09
great great great great great great
00:22:10
grandfather soup
00:22:13
I think that's stupid okay now if they
00:22:16
want to believe it that's fine I don't
00:22:17
care what they believe but don't call it
00:22:18
science what happened back in the 1950s
00:22:20
a guy named Miller and Urey wanted to
00:22:22
know how the earth and solar system had
00:22:23
come to be so they tell the kids he took
00:22:26
a mixture of Earth's primitive
00:22:27
atmosphere we'll talk about that in a
00:22:31
minute he never proved how life originated but
00:22:34
he did add evidence to the theory that
00:22:35
life could have started by itself or is
00:22:38
that true now did he really do that well
00:22:41
let's just study the facts here this
00:22:43
textbook tells the kids many important
00:22:44
events occurred during the Archean era
00:22:46
the most important of which was the
00:22:47
evolution of life progress from complex
00:22:51
molecules even simplest living organism
00:22:53
was a very long process long ago and far
00:22:56
away fairytale kids coming up first
00:23:00
living cells emerged four billion to 3.8
00:23:03
billion years ago I like that word
00:23:05
emerge they use it all the time like
00:23:07
just like that explains how it happened
00:23:09
it emerged there is no record of the
00:23:12
event they tell the kids look kid we
00:23:14
know what happened you're gonna be
00:23:15
tested on this but there's no proof okay
00:23:18
it's not science first living
00:23:20
self-replicating systems must have
00:23:22
emerged in this soup I don't think so
00:23:25
here's what students are taught in
00:23:26
school this picture of the different
00:23:28
glass tubes and flasks and pipes going
00:23:30
around they tell them this is how they
00:23:32
made life in the laboratory hmm he said
00:23:36
he studied the chemical reactions of
00:23:38
gases that existed in Earth's primitive
00:23:40
atmosphere oh now this is important okay
00:23:43
notice up in the upper right hand corner
00:23:45
he had methane ammonia water vapor and
00:23:47
hydrogen no oxygen he circulated these
00:23:50
gases through these tubes do a spark
00:23:52
supposed to represent lightning and sure
00:23:54
enough it produced a red goo at the
00:23:55
bottom of the flask and had some amino
00:23:58
acids in it hmm they didn't come close
00:24:01
to getting life though
00:24:03
Miller excluded oxygen in a reducing
00:24:05
atmosphere because life could not evolve
00:24:07
with oxygen anything that got together
00:24:10
would oxidize cut a banana open lay it
00:24:12
on the table it'll turn brown and laksa
00:24:14
dies okay so will an apple so will
00:24:15
anything alive it'll oxidize so that's
00:24:18
why he didn't have any oxygen in the
00:24:20
experiment one of his gases was ammonia
00:24:22
what is creates a real serious problem
00:24:25
because
00:24:26
ammonia is destroyed by UV light and UV
00:24:31
light must be blocked by ozone which is
00:24:33
made from oxygen oh I got a problem here
00:24:38
this textbook says several billion years
00:24:40
ago Earth's atmosphere had no free
00:24:42
oxygen well that's just simply not true
00:24:45
ozone is made from oxygen and it blocks
00:24:47
UV light and ammonia one of the gases
00:24:49
needed for the experiment is destroyed
00:24:50
by UV light so life cannot evolve
00:24:53
without oxygen but also life cannot
00:24:56
evolve with oxygen well I got a solution
00:25:01
for that one hey it didn't evolve and by
00:25:05
the way the earth has always had oxygen
00:25:07
even more than it does today
00:25:08
okay air bubbles are often found trapped
00:25:10
in amber like the movie Jurassic Park
00:25:12
you know where they drilled in I got the
00:25:13
mosquito blood these air bubbles though
00:25:15
have 50% more oxygen than we do right
00:25:18
now we cover more on that on my video
00:25:21
series vo tape number two about what the
00:25:22
pre-flood world was like and why they
00:25:24
live to be 900 on the blue series of
00:25:26
tapes out there on the table
00:25:27
but this textbook says the mixture at
00:25:29
the bottom of the flask was rich in
00:25:31
amino acids oh come on that is stupid it
00:25:33
was not rich in amino acids let's tell
00:25:35
the kids what they really found okay he
00:25:37
filtered out the product as this gas
00:25:39
went through the tubes he sparked it
00:25:41
produced this goo at the bottom and he
00:25:43
drew the goo off because if it went
00:25:44
through again it would be destroyed by
00:25:46
the spark now in real life you're not
00:25:51
gonna get a section of the ocean
00:25:52
protected they say this just happened by
00:25:55
chance in the ocean we can't just be
00:25:57
can't filter out the product then
00:25:58
secondly what he made was 85% tar 13%
00:26:02
carboxylic acid 2% amino acids so 98% of
00:26:07
his mixture was poisonous to life I
00:26:11
would not call that a success
00:26:15
and there are 20 different amino acid
00:26:17
it's sort of like 26 letters in the
00:26:18
alphabet they're 20 amino acids those
00:26:20
amino acids go together to make proteins
00:26:22
like letters go together to make
00:26:23
sentences mostly it may just two of
00:26:26
these amino acids and they bond with the
00:26:29
tar and the acid very quickly more
00:26:31
readily than with each other it was a
00:26:33
failure as an experiment amino acids are
00:26:35
like letters of the alphabet sort of
00:26:37
like building blocks you have to have a
00:26:38
bunch of amino acids to make a protein
00:26:41
then you have to have a bunch of
00:26:42
proteins to make a cell and you gotta
00:26:44
have a bunch of cells to make an
00:26:45
organism and one cell is more complex
00:26:48
than a space-shuttle
00:26:49
and all he got was a couple of the amino
00:26:52
acids that's like me dropping toothpicks
00:26:54
and I happen to make a few letters of
00:26:56
the alphabet that's possible in it
00:26:58
toothpicks could fall on the shape of a
00:27:00
tee or an H or an i or e that's possible
00:27:04
but if I'm able to drop toothpicks and
00:27:06
produce a few letters of the alphabet
00:27:07
should I therefore conclude that nobody
00:27:09
wrote Webster's Webster's dictionary the
00:27:12
difference being making a letter with
00:27:14
toothpicks and making Webster's
00:27:15
dictionaries about like making an amino
00:27:17
acid and making a living cell he didn't
00:27:19
come close to making life he made the
00:27:22
equivalent of a few letters and he
00:27:23
actually needed to make huge books and
00:27:25
half of his letters were backwards
00:27:27
left-handed this creates a real problem
00:27:30
since the simplest proteins the smallest
00:27:32
proteins have 70 to 100 amino acids all
00:27:34
of them
00:27:35
left-handed this really compounds his
00:27:38
problem RNA and DNA are all right handed
00:27:43
molecules and they are unbelievably
00:27:44
complex and hundreds of these amino
00:27:46
acids must become us combined to make a
00:27:49
protein and this has to be in a precise
00:27:50
order and the unbond in water much
00:27:54
faster than they bond and last time I
00:27:55
checked the oceans are completely full
00:27:57
of water so Brownian motion is gonna
00:28:00
drive them away from each other not
00:28:01
together it just isn't gonna work they
00:28:04
did not make life in the laboratory but
00:28:06
they tell the kids he showed how life
00:28:08
could have started by itself all that is
00:28:10
just a stupid okay that's a lie he did
00:28:12
not show anything of the kind
00:28:14
and every experiment since then has made
00:28:16
the problem worse they're finding more
00:28:18
and more things that just couldn't
00:28:19
happen don't call that science but they
00:28:22
tell the kids you know three billion
00:28:23
years ago life appeared on earth I was
00:28:26
doing a ask me to speak at this College
00:28:27
in Boston one time
00:28:28
this preacher called all the colleges
00:28:30
and universities around Boston and said
00:28:32
would you like to have Kent Hovind come
00:28:33
speak at your college
00:28:35
finally one school one professor said
00:28:37
yes he can come speak at our school if
00:28:38
our professors can ask him any questions
00:28:40
they want because we want to show our
00:28:42
students how dumb these creationists
00:28:43
really are so two preacher called me
00:28:46
said brother Hovind would you like to
00:28:47
speak at this college and let them make
00:28:48
fun of you for a couple hours I said
00:28:50
that would be honored so I showed up
00:28:55
there were six professors and all their
00:28:56
students you know I felt like Daniel and
00:28:57
the Lions Den I got my charts out and I
00:29:00
said no folks I believe the Bible nobody
00:29:02
cheered I said I believe about 6,000
00:29:06
years ago God made everything the
00:29:07
world's not millions of years old 4.6
00:29:09
billion years ago there was a big flood
00:29:11
I'm sorry for it 44 hundred years ago
00:29:13
there was a big flood net for 4.6 and
00:29:16
two thousand years ago Jesus came and I
00:29:18
gave him the basic Bible story okay then
00:29:20
I told them what they believed because
00:29:21
most of them don't know what they
00:29:23
believe you have to tell them you guys
00:29:26
believed 20 billion years ago there was
00:29:28
a big bang or nothing exploded and
00:29:29
produced everything 4.6 billion years
00:29:32
ago the earth cooled down made a hard
00:29:34
rocky crust it rained on the rocks for
00:29:36
millions of years turned him into soup
00:29:37
and the soup came alive three billion
00:29:39
years ago and this early life-form found
00:29:42
somebody to marry well no that's a good
00:29:45
trick and something to eat of course and
00:29:47
slowly evolved and everything we see
00:29:49
today one professor was getting kind of
00:29:51
upset about this time I seem to do that
00:29:53
to them he said Mr Hovind
00:29:56
there are hundreds of varieties of dogs
00:29:59
in the world I said yes sir you're right
00:30:01
about that he said you mean to tell me
00:30:04
that you believe all these dogs came
00:30:05
from two dogs off a Noah's Ark you
00:30:07
expect me to believe that ha ha ha I
00:30:10
said sir would you look at why you're
00:30:12
teaching your students you're teaching
00:30:15
your students that all the dogs in the
00:30:16
world came from Iraq
00:30:21
I had one lady I'm sorry a woman come to
00:30:25
me after a debate one time she was
00:30:27
steaming down the aisle boy she was mad
00:30:28
all I could tell I'm in trouble now I
00:30:30
stood there quivering in my boots you
00:30:31
know she walked up and she said tonight
00:30:34
you said we believe we come from a rock
00:30:37
we do not believe that I said well ma'am
00:30:40
calm down just for a minute I said do
00:30:41
you believe in evolution she said yes I
00:30:43
do I'm a professor here at the
00:30:45
University I said well would you please
00:30:47
tell me then where we came from
00:30:49
she said we came from a macromolecule I
00:30:52
said where did that come from
00:30:54
she said from the oceans from the
00:30:56
prebiotic soup
00:30:58
I said where did that come from she said
00:31:02
well it rained on the rocks for millions
00:31:04
of years and you could see it was slowly
00:31:07
dawning on her I do believe I come from
00:31:09
a rock all right yes ma'am you do you
00:31:12
ought to be proud of it hey don't step
00:31:14
on grandpa whatever you do
00:31:16
look that's stupid okay there's no kind
00:31:18
way to say it there's a great book
00:31:20
dealing with some of the flaws in the
00:31:22
Miller experiment if you want more on
00:31:23
that for your kids to study out there on
00:31:24
the table get the book icons of
00:31:26
evolution then they tell the kids at
00:31:27
these plants and animals not only did
00:31:29
the life evolve from nonliving material
00:31:31
then this life had to learn to reproduce
00:31:33
itself why would any organism want to
00:31:36
reproduce more of its own kind when
00:31:38
that's only going to increase
00:31:39
competition for the food supply why
00:31:41
didn't they instead evolved the ability
00:31:43
to live forever and be happy huh
00:31:46
ever think about that I was in a debate
00:31:49
one time in that one we had question
00:31:50
answer time at the end the student stood
00:31:52
up and he said to the evolutionist he
00:31:53
said sir
00:31:54
how did male and female evolve the
00:32:00
professor got up and he said well that
00:32:01
is a giant mother may I step in the
00:32:03
evolution story a mother may I step this
00:32:08
is science
00:32:09
Wow well so according to them you know
00:32:13
for the next few billion years or
00:32:15
hundreds of millions of years you know
00:32:16
life learn to reap or to produce
00:32:17
something other than its own kind of
00:32:20
course today everything only produces
00:32:21
his own kind but they say long going far
00:32:23
away they were able to do something
00:32:24
different textbooks would say we started
00:32:26
like a bacteria and slowly evolved to a
00:32:28
human I think that's stupid but if you wanna
00:32:31
believe that that's perfectly fine those
00:32:34
trees of life that they put in the
00:32:35
textbooks for your kids are a bunch of
00:32:36
nonsense
00:32:37
and even evolutionist will admit that
00:32:40
Stephen Jay Gould the Marxist professor
00:32:42
at Harvard University he says that
00:32:43
evolutionary trees that adorn our
00:32:45
textbooks are not the evidence of
00:32:47
fossils it's only inference we infer we
00:32:50
imply we hope it happened this way this
00:32:52
textbook says all the many forms of life
00:32:54
on Earth today are descended from a
00:32:55
common ancestor what you mean the birds
00:33:00
and the bananas have a common ancestor
00:33:03
isn't that what he says found in a
00:33:06
population of primitive unites cellular
00:33:08
organisms in the first place there's no
00:33:10
such thing as a primitive unicellular
00:33:12
organism okay one single cell is more
00:33:15
complex than a space shuttle there's no
00:33:18
such thing as a primitive single celled
00:33:20
organism we talked about that on video
00:33:22
number four of our series but he says
00:33:25
all the forms of life are descended from
00:33:27
a common ancestor found in a population
00:33:29
a primitive you know
00:33:30
cellular organisms what were those first
00:33:32
cells like how do we know what events
00:33:35
led up to their formation no traces of
00:33:37
those events remain did you catch that
00:33:40
hey kid we know what happened but
00:33:42
there's no proof primitive huh this one
00:33:47
says the humans mammals birds crocodiles
00:33:50
all had a common ancestor well anything
00:33:54
inside that circle is religious
00:33:56
speculation it is stupid reptiles
00:33:59
produce reptiles dogs produce dogs
00:34:01
people produce people and there's never
00:34:02
been an exception to that Darwin said
00:34:04
though if my theory be true here's his
00:34:06
book right here you can look on page 211
00:34:09
he said if my theory be true numberless
00:34:11
intermediate varieties must assure they
00:34:13
have existed well here right about that
00:34:15
Charlie I mean to change from a rock to
00:34:16
a dog would take a few changes
00:34:21
David Rob who believes in evolution very
00:34:23
strongly says in the years after Darwin
00:34:25
his advocates hoped to find predictable
00:34:27
progressions in general these have not
00:34:29
been found yet the optimism has died
00:34:30
hard and some pure fantasy has crept
00:34:33
into textbooks you're kidding
00:34:37
fantasy in our textbooks Oh yep they
00:34:40
tell the kids they have evidence of
00:34:41
evolution from fossils I don't think so
00:34:45
that is stupid okay if you find a fossil
00:34:47
in the dirt all you know is it died
00:34:53
you don't know that it had any kids do
00:34:56
you and you sure don't know that it had
00:34:58
different kids let me think about it
00:35:01
you're in a court of law you bring in a
00:35:03
bone to the judge judge I found this
00:35:04
bone in the dirt this is the ancestor of
00:35:06
all the humans today they would laugh at
00:35:11
you you don't know that that's the
00:35:14
ancestor of anybody do you and why on
00:35:18
earth would you think a bone in the dirt
00:35:19
can do something animals today cannot do
00:35:21
animals today can only produce the same
00:35:23
kind right dogs produce dogs folks
00:35:26
Luther Sunderland asked all the major
00:35:29
evolutionist he said where is the
00:35:30
evidence for evolution they all said
00:35:32
well somebody else has it we don't have
00:35:34
it over here so he wrote a letter to :
00:35:37
Patterson he's the director of the
00:35:38
British Museum of Natural History
00:35:39
they've got the largest fossil
00:35:41
collection in the world he said mr.
00:35:43
Patterson I read your book on evolution
00:35:44
I noticed you didn't show us the missing
00:35:46
links why didn't you show us the missing
00:35:48
links Patterson wrote back and said I
00:35:51
fully agree with your comments on the
00:35:53
lack of evolutionary transitions in my
00:35:55
book if I knew of any fossil or living I
00:35:59
would certainly have included them I
00:36:00
will lay it on the line there is not one
00:36:03
such fossil there are no missing links
00:36:06
folks though chain is missing
00:36:11
even Stephen Gould admitted the absence
00:36:13
of fossil evidence for intermediary
00:36:14
stages is a persistent and nagging
00:36:16
problem for evolution
00:36:17
we got the theory we know it's true now
00:36:20
we just need the evidence that's the way
00:36:21
they think about it Richard Goldschmidt
00:36:26
said maybe the first bird hatched from a
00:36:28
reptile egg
00:36:33
a Richard I'm sorry I don't mean be
00:36:35
disrespectful but that's stupid see
00:36:39
what's happened these guys have looked
00:36:40
for missing links in the fossil record
00:36:42
they can't find any and so they say well
00:36:44
maybe evolution happens so fast
00:36:46
it wasn't preserved maybe a reptile
00:36:49
later egg and a bird hatched out well
00:36:53
who did that bird marry there's only
00:36:59
about a zillion differences between a
00:37:01
reptile and a bird we'll get into that
00:37:02
later sometime before your time but if
00:37:04
they want to believe that that's perfectly fine here's what happened
00:37:06
Charlie Darwin graduated from Bible
00:37:09
College to be a preacher in the Anglican
00:37:12
Church in 1830 he couldn't get a job so
00:37:15
his dad pulled a few strings they got
00:37:17
him a job onboard HMS Beagle he's gonna
00:37:19
sail around the world and collect bugs
00:37:21
and while he's sailing around he stopped
00:37:23
off at these islands right there called
00:37:25
the Galapagos Islands they're on those
00:37:28
islands Charlie noticed there were 14
00:37:29
different varieties of finches Charlie
00:37:32
studied the birds very carefully and
00:37:34
said you know what I think all these
00:37:35
birds had a common ancestor so I bet
00:37:39
you're right Charlie it was a bird
00:37:44
and then Charlie said in his book on
00:37:46
page 170 he said it is a truly wonderful
00:37:49
fact that all animals and all plants
00:37:51
throughout all time and space should be
00:37:53
related to each other now hold on a
00:37:56
minute you see 14 kinds of birds and you
00:37:58
conclude that birds and bananas are
00:37:59
related that's stupid
00:38:03
you should conclude that those 14 kinds
00:38:05
of birds had a common ancestor but
00:38:06
that's as far as it's ever goes folks
00:38:07
okay I don't know if a kind of way to
00:38:09
say it Charlie but that's that's stupid
00:38:11
okay we don't ever see a bird but it's a
00:38:13
non bird see dogs produce dogs and you
00:38:15
might get quite a variety of dogs roses
00:38:17
produce roses that is called micro
00:38:19
evolution now that is a fact folks it
00:38:21
happens it is observable it is
00:38:23
scientific I don't think we ought to use
00:38:24
that word mic revolution we should just
00:38:26
call it a variation but they use it so
00:38:28
you know just so you I call Fi that it's
00:38:30
little lousy term it gives what's called
00:38:32
a free-rider effect to the rest of the
00:38:34
five religious ideas of evolution you
00:38:36
might get a big dog or a little dog but
00:38:38
you're always gonna get a dog when you
00:38:39
crossbreed your dogs and I would go so
00:38:43
far as to say probably the dog the wolf
00:38:44
and the coyote had a common ancestor
00:38:48
this Irish textbook shows different dogs
00:38:51
and it calls it divergent evolution okon
00:38:53
given it a fancy name doesn't change a
00:38:55
thing it is still a dog and a
00:38:58
three-year-old can tell you who anybody
00:39:01
in here at five years old who's five
00:39:02
years old five years old what's your
00:39:05
name misty here we have a dog a wolf a
00:39:08
coyote and a banana which one is not
00:39:11
like the others
00:39:15
dog wolf coyote and banana banana all
00:39:19
right let's get misty a hand very good
00:39:26
somebody's college professors can't tell
00:39:33
look there's a variety of dogs folks and
00:39:35
they probably had a common ancestor it
00:39:37
was a dog okay that's it's just a dog
00:39:40
see variations happen within the dog
00:39:42
kind you get a big dog or a little dog
00:39:43
but there are limits to these variations
00:39:46
haven't the farmers been trying to breed
00:39:48
for bigger pigs for a long time they try
00:39:50
to get the biggest pig they can don't it
00:39:51
do you think you'll ever get a pig as
00:39:53
big as Texas I bet there's a lemon in
00:39:56
there somewhere isn't there mm-hmm
00:39:58
roaches become resistant to pesticides
00:40:00
after a while do you think you'll ever
00:40:02
become resistant to a sledgehammer
00:40:05
there's a limit yeah okay they still
00:40:08
produce the same kind of plant or animal
00:40:10
that's not evolution that's just a
00:40:12
variation of the same kind okay and the
00:40:14
information for that variety was already
00:40:16
present in the gene pool no new
00:40:18
information is ever added the dogs are
00:40:21
the pigs don't learn to fly or become
00:40:22
pink okay there's no new information
00:40:25
added just scrambled information and the
00:40:27
gene pool of the new variety is now more
00:40:29
limited than before
00:40:31
somebody spent years crossbreeding dogs
00:40:33
to develop a Chihuahua all that work to
00:40:38
make a dog that is a hundred percent
00:40:39
useless
00:40:46
that's tough let's turn all that you all
00:40:49
was in the world loose back into the
00:40:51
woods how long would they last they do enough
00:40:55
run up to the wolf yeah baby up country
00:40:59
go ahead make my day useless dog Oh
00:41:05
genetic information was lost when you
00:41:07
got your variation it wasn't added you
00:41:09
might have selected a certain slice of
00:41:11
the gene pool but small dog you know
00:41:13
quick characteristics person you didn't
00:41:14
add anything you selected something from
00:41:17
the population I come from Illinois corn
00:41:19
country there are so many kinds of corn
00:41:21
up there they asked a number of them
00:41:22
you'll be driving down the highway
00:41:23
you'll see BX 65 don't mix it up with
00:41:26
Excel 29 you know something will blow up
00:41:28
but I'll tell you what folks you can
00:41:30
crossbreed your corn from now to the
00:41:32
cows come home and you always get corn
00:41:34
you will never get a hamster or tomato
00:41:36
or a whale to grow on that corn stalk
00:41:38
okay yeah what happened there's a
00:41:40
variety of cows and they probably had a
00:41:41
common ancestor it was a cow variety
00:41:46
horses no question probably the zebra
00:41:48
and the horse had a common ancestor but
00:41:50
the kids are gonna be taught in school
00:41:51
tomorrow in your town that the horse
00:41:53
used to have four toes well there's some
00:41:56
things they don't tell the kids about
00:41:58
this he'll hippest to Equus a series
00:41:59
which has been proven wrong 50 years ago
00:42:01
but still is in your textbooks right
00:42:03
here in this town they don't tell them
00:42:05
the original so-called horse is the size
00:42:07
of a fox it was a meat-eater and had 18
00:42:11
pairs of ribs the next one had 15 pairs
00:42:13
of ribs a couple of trips to the buzzsaw
00:42:15
did that and then miraculously grew back
00:42:18
19 pairs of ribs as it evolved and then
00:42:20
back to 18 they also don't tell them the
00:42:23
whole thing's been proven wrong a long
00:42:24
time ago like this guy says in the
00:42:27
biology textbook other examples like the
00:42:29
gradual evolution of the horse have not
00:42:31
held up under close examination that's a
00:42:33
polite way of saying it's proven wrong
00:42:35
okay this uh Gigi Simpson back in 1950
00:42:39
said the example of the horse family has
00:42:42
been unintentionally falsified they knew
00:42:45
50 years ago this was false why did they
00:42:48
keep that in your textbooks this whole
00:42:50
thing was made up by often you'll see
00:42:51
Marsh in 1874 he picked animals from all
00:42:54
over the world and put him in order the
00:42:56
way he thought it might have happened
00:42:57
they were never found in that order
00:42:59
modern horses are found in the same
00:43:01
layers as the so-called ancient Equus au
00:43:04
hippest horse they're found in the same
00:43:05
layer so it can't be the ancestor that's
00:43:07
for sure the ancient horse is nothing
00:43:09
but a high Restless theorem which is
00:43:10
still alive today
00:43:11
by the way the ribs the toes the teeth
00:43:14
are very different in these animals in
00:43:15
South America the fossils go exactly
00:43:17
backwards instead of three toed to one
00:43:20
toed it goes one toe to three toed in
00:43:22
the fossil order they won't talk about
00:43:24
that much but you check it out that's a
00:43:25
fact folks they're never found any order
00:43:27
presented in the textbooks three toed
00:43:29
and one told gray side-by-side plenty of
00:43:33
information about the unit on the
00:43:34
internet about that Tulsa Zoo find it
00:43:36
took out their display because so many
00:43:37
folks complain why do you have this
00:43:39
horse evolution display in the zoo it's
00:43:41
been proven wrong fifty years ago
00:43:43
take it out and you folks ought to get
00:43:46
together to you with your school board
00:43:47
and say look on page whatever it is 952
00:43:49
of our textbook
00:43:50
it says the horse evolved from a for
00:43:52
toda ancestor let's cut this page out if
00:43:55
you had a page in your textbook teaching
00:43:57
the kids the earth was flat would it be
00:44:00
okay to demand that that page be removed
00:44:02
you don't have to buy a whole new book
00:44:04
just cut the page up it won't cost the
00:44:07
school to anything how many of you would
00:44:09
volunteer to help cut the pages out and
00:44:11
bring your own scissors see what cost of
00:44:15
a dime and you send me your book and
00:44:18
I'll show you which pages need to be
00:44:19
taken out I've read hundreds of them I
00:44:21
find them like that free of charge
00:44:23
I'll donate my time Peabody Museum still
00:44:26
has the horse evolution on display as I
00:44:28
stood that been there many times makes
00:44:29
my blood boil every time I walk in that
00:44:31
place I'm standing there looking at this
00:44:33
live proven wrong 50 years ago while
00:44:35
hundreds of kids come through in school
00:44:36
groups the kids are never told this has
00:44:39
been proven wrong boys and girls they
00:44:43
ask the folks at the Tulsa Zoo before
00:44:44
they took the display down they said why
00:44:46
don't you take this display down the zoo
00:44:48
director said we don't have the funding
00:44:50
to remove it I've got all the letters
00:44:54
back and forth on that man folks there's
00:44:57
quite a variety of horses today okay
00:44:58
there's big horses and little horses I
00:45:00
was in Baton Rouge Louisiana a few
00:45:01
months ago got to see where they raised
00:45:03
the 30 inch tall horses I mean my dog's
00:45:06
bigger net what do you do with a 30-inch
00:45:08
horse look at it I guess it's about it
00:45:11
and it's hellim for $10,000 looks like
00:45:15
are born every minute I guess but one
00:45:16
lady wrote me a letter and said mr. open
00:45:18
we cross breed zebras ponies horses we
00:45:21
and mules and on mules the jackass and
00:45:24
we raised
00:45:25
donkeys horses zo knees they cross every
00:45:28
which way well that's probably because
00:45:30
they're the original same kind no
00:45:33
problem there I'll see all the fatal
00:45:35
flaws in the horse evolution story get
00:45:37
the book out there icons of evolution so
00:45:39
then they're gonna tell the kids well we
00:45:41
have evidence for this theory we think
00:45:43
that what animal changed rather and we
00:45:44
can show evidence because many animals
00:45:46
have similar for limb structure this is
00:45:48
called the argument from homology well
00:45:51
what do they tell the kids they'll see
00:45:52
boys and girls you have two bones in
00:45:54
your wrist radius and all that mm-hmm
00:45:57
and boys and girls look at the whales
00:45:58
flipper carefully did you know the whale
00:46:00
has two bones in his flipper and they're
00:46:02
called the radius and the ulna same as
00:46:05
ours Wow who named them teacher the
00:46:10
whale
00:46:13
think about it but this is one of the
00:46:15
evidences for evolution they're gonna
00:46:16
say boys and girls comparative anatomy
00:46:18
provides further evidence of evolution
00:46:19
the commonalities suggest these and
00:46:21
other vertebrate animals are all related
00:46:23
they probably evolved from a common
00:46:24
ancestor well duh that's stupid okay
00:46:29
maybe they all had the same designer
00:46:31
doesn't prove a common ancestor by the
00:46:34
way the bones develop from different
00:46:36
genes in these different organisms they
00:46:37
are not homologous organisms like they
00:46:39
want you to believe similar design might
00:46:41
prove the same engineer made the design
00:46:44
a lot of bridges in the world are kind
00:46:47
of similar to each other
00:46:48
you can go compare you know different
00:46:50
suspension bridges around the world
00:46:52
Golden Gate Bridge and other bridges and
00:46:53
there's a lot of similarities that
00:46:54
doesn't prove one is the father of the
00:46:56
other or that a tornado put them up no
00:47:01
it's a design that works good okay I
00:47:03
discovered that the Pontiac lug nuts
00:47:06
from a Pontiac will fit on a Chevy they
00:47:09
will that proves they both evolved from
00:47:12
a Honda 14 million years ago
00:47:15
no same engine here's heart design in
00:47:19
these cars then they tell the kids about
00:47:20
the geologic column how many have ever
00:47:22
heard that the different layers of the
00:47:23
earth are different ages the showed the
00:47:26
kids Grand Canyon guess boys and girls
00:47:28
this one says over millions of years the
00:47:31
Colorado River has carved the Grand
00:47:32
Canyon from solid rock I'm sorry but
00:47:37
that is stupid okay I'll explain why
00:47:39
kids you need to learn this this is a
00:47:40
very simple thing to learn and you'll go
00:47:42
through life much further than many of
00:47:43
these professors go make yourself three
00:47:46
columns facts are in the middle it's a
00:47:49
fact
00:47:50
Grand Canyon exists the evolutionist has
00:47:54
an interpretation of that fact and the
00:47:56
creationist has an interpretation of the
00:47:58
fact that's not part of the fact it's an
00:48:01
interpretation of the fact the
00:48:02
evolutionist says the canyon formed
00:48:04
slowly by a little bit of water and lots
00:48:06
of time the creationist says oh no we
00:48:09
think it formed quickly by lots of water
00:48:11
and a little bit of time it's a fact the
00:48:14
earth has sedimentary layers that's not
00:48:15
a question how did they get there well
00:48:18
the evolutionist says these layers
00:48:19
formed slowly over millions of years the
00:48:21
creationist says no no these layers are
00:48:22
all from the flood in the days of Noah
00:48:24
now it seems like their professors are
00:48:26
always try to erase the line between their
00:48:28
interpretation and the fact and make
00:48:30
their interpretation part of the fact
00:48:31
column and it's not and I think I can
00:48:34
demonstrate Grand Canyon was not formed
00:48:36
by the Colorado River I was in a debate
00:48:38
recently and this professor said dr.
00:48:39
Auvergne you're so stupid obviously it
00:48:41
took millions of years to form the Grand
00:48:43
Canyon I said well sir I've seen Grand
00:48:46
Canyon many times a Tartar science for
00:48:47
15 years I've stated it intensively just
00:48:50
flew over it last week as a matter of
00:48:51
fact twice got a perfect view of it
00:48:53
going out to California and back flying
00:48:54
from wherever I was Florida that's right
00:48:56
it this textbook says the Colorado River
00:49:00
has cut through layer upon layer of rock
00:49:02
over millions of years well if you built
00:49:05
a dam across Grand Canyon it would take
00:49:08
a lot of dirt or concrete but if you
00:49:09
could okay it'd be a huge Dam a giant
00:49:12
lake would back up behind that dam
00:49:13
covering several states that purple area
00:49:18
is all drained right through the Grand
00:49:19
Canyon drainage basin hmm this snow lion
00:49:23
tells a very interesting story in
00:49:25
between these two red lines is snow this
00:49:29
is a picture from a satellite showing
00:49:31
about 150 or 200 miles of the canyon
00:49:33
area real wide shot the river enters the
00:49:37
canyon at the far right the Union River
00:49:40
is 2,800 feet above sea level as it goes
00:49:46
down through the canyon the ground is
00:49:48
rising up it's called the Kaibab uplift
00:49:51
okay the uplift is seven or eight
00:49:53
thousand feet above sea level hmm
00:49:56
interesting
00:49:57
the river flows downhill all rivers flow
00:50:03
downhill
00:50:05
so as the river enters the canyon it
00:50:07
flows downhill from there when it gets
00:50:08
to the 1800 foot elevation mark the top
00:50:11
of the canyon is seven or eight thousand
00:50:13
feet above sea level so it's over a
00:50:14
one-mile drop very impressive hole in
00:50:17
the ground but some things to points to
00:50:20
ponder I said to the professor I said
00:50:21
sir did you know the top is higher than
00:50:24
the bottom he said yeah
00:50:29
I said did you know the river only runs
00:50:31
through the bottom he said yeah I said
00:50:36
sir the top is higher than where the
00:50:37
river enters the canyon by 4,000 feet
00:50:41
rivers don't flow uphill there's no
00:50:45
Delta where's all the mud that washed
00:50:46
out there's no way that we ever made
00:50:49
that Canyon Grand Canyon is a breached
00:50:51
dam a spillway that washed out there was
00:50:55
a lake probably for some length of time
00:50:56
after the flood and got to full and all
00:50:58
that water went roaring through there
00:51:00
probably carved that Canyon out in a
00:51:01
couple of weeks not millions of years
00:51:05
absolutely impossible for that River to
00:51:07
have made that Canyon we cover lots more
00:51:09
on that on videotape number six of our
00:51:10
series but they tell the kids the
00:51:12
Colorado River made this canyon slowly
00:51:14
over millions of years I'm sorry that is
00:51:15
stupid that can't possibly be true they
00:51:18
need to learn the facts Charlie Lyell back in 1830 it was a
00:51:21
lawyer from Scotland somebody calculated
00:51:24
one time that if all the lawyers in the
00:51:25
world were laid into and around the
00:51:27
equator we would all be better off
00:51:34
Charlie Lyle hated the Bible in 1830 he
00:51:38
wrote this book right here oh I got it
00:51:41
on the table I picked up the wrong one
00:51:43
principles of geology here it is on this
00:51:45
table Charlie Lyle wrote this book 1830 in
00:51:50
this book he mocked at scriptures he
00:51:52
hated the Bible you can see it mocking
00:51:53
all theaters there here in here he and
00:51:56
other fellows back in that time Cuvier
00:51:58
stenos strata smith and some of these
00:52:00
guys they invented the geologic column
00:52:03
how many of ever heard of the geologic
00:52:05
column before they say each of the
00:52:07
layers is a different age you know
00:52:08
Cenozoic Mesozoic Paleozoic are keys or
00:52:10
colons or boys and they gave each layer
00:52:13
of frock a name like maybe saw the movie
00:52:16
Jurassic Park and age and an index
00:52:18
fossil
00:52:19
this was done in 1830 way before there
00:52:21
ever was a carbon dating or
00:52:22
potassium-argon dating or led 208 led
00:52:24
206 rhenium 235 your enemy 238 didn't
00:52:26
exist folks they didn't they date XD
00:52:29
didn't exist they just made up these
00:52:31
numbers out of the clear blue sky the
00:52:34
geologic column is the Bible for the
00:52:35
evolutionist it can only be found one
00:52:37
place in the world the textbooks there
00:52:42
is no geologic column then they know it
00:52:44
this fellow says if there were a column
00:52:46
of sediments unfortunately no such
00:52:49
column exists the geologic column is a
00:52:52
hoax does not exist it is stupid those
00:52:57
layers cannot be different ages if the
00:53:00
geologic column are all in one place it
00:53:01
would be a hundred miles thick didn't
00:53:05
happen by the way if the geologic column
00:53:07
were true if you look at the side of
00:53:09
Grand Canyon see all these thousands of
00:53:10
layers why are there no erosion marks
00:53:13
between the layers don't you think if
00:53:16
one layer sat there for ten million
00:53:17
years waiting for the next one it rain
00:53:19
once or twice
00:53:22
no erosion marks between the layers
00:53:23
interesting something to consider anyway
00:53:27
those layers are all deposited very
00:53:29
rapidly I think we can demonstrate that
00:53:30
scientifically if you take a jar of dirt
00:53:32
put some water in it shake it up and set
00:53:34
it down it'll settle into layers for you
00:53:36
automatically it just takes a few
00:53:37
minutes it's called hydrologic sorting
00:53:41
the gravels go to the bottom and then
00:53:42
the sands and the silt sand the Clay's
00:53:44
it'll sort just like that folks call me
00:53:46
do it with a jar you'll see what I'm
00:53:48
talking about years ago I was preaching in Union
00:53:50
Center South Dakota Union Center is
00:53:52
right there it's not even on the map
00:53:55
there are 40 people in the whole town 38
00:53:58
of them came to church I don't know
00:54:01
where the other two were but uh
00:54:03
they showed up later I guess but the
00:54:06
preacher said hey brother let's go down
00:54:07
to reppin City South Dakota they've got
00:54:09
a museum down there with a bunch of
00:54:10
dinosaur bones I said all right I like
00:54:12
dinosaurs let's go so we all drove down
00:54:14
to the museum we the guide met us at the
00:54:16
door he said would you like me to give
00:54:17
you a tour we said that would be great
00:54:19
sir the first place we stopped on the
00:54:22
tour was the geologic time scale the big
00:54:25
chart he got a behind glass so the kids
00:54:26
can't touch it you know this is holy
00:54:27
sacred and the guidance said now boys
00:54:30
and girls this layer of rock right here
00:54:31
is about 70 million years old
00:54:33
my daughter was 12 at the time she
00:54:36
raised her hand she said mister how do
00:54:38
you know that layer 70 million years old
00:54:41
he said honey we tell the age of the
00:54:43
layers by what kind of fossils we find
00:54:45
in time they're called index fossils oh
00:54:47
she said thank you sir we walked around
00:54:51
the other side of the dinosaur and we're
00:54:52
standing over here and the guide said
00:54:53
now folks these bones you're looking at
00:54:54
are about a hundred million years old my
00:54:57
daughter raised her hand again
00:54:59
she said mister how do you know those
00:55:02
bones 100 million years old he said
00:55:04
honey that's a good question we tell the
00:55:06
age of the bones by which layer they
00:55:07
come from
00:55:11
she said excuse me sir but well they
00:55:14
were standing over there you told me he
00:55:15
knew the age of the layers by the bones
00:55:17
and now you telling me you know the age
00:55:18
of the bones by the layers she said
00:55:20
isn't that circular reasoning
00:55:22
I thought Wow
00:55:26
chip off the old block that guy had the
00:55:30
strangest look on his face it was almost
00:55:33
as if he were thinking he looked at my
00:55:41
daughter he looked at me I wasn't about
00:55:44
to help him I thought wow this is gonna
00:55:47
be good I got here it is he looked back
00:55:50
at my daughter he said you know you're
00:55:51
right that is circular reasoning I never
00:55:54
thought of that before
00:55:56
folks geologic column is a joke it
00:55:59
doesn't exist so based on circular
00:56:01
reasoning we demonstrate that I clearly
00:56:03
get our video number four if you want
00:56:04
more information on how it's all based
00:56:05
on circular reasoning I'll just give you
00:56:07
a couple of quotes here this guy says
00:56:08
the rocks due date the fossils but the
00:56:10
fossils date the rocks more accurately
00:56:17
Stratego fee cannot avoid this kind of
00:56:19
reasoning if it insists on using all the
00:56:20
temporal concepts because circularity is
00:56:22
inherent you have to use circular
00:56:24
reasoning to get it right well that's
00:56:27
stupid
00:56:29
and you don't need to be too bright to
00:56:31
figure out that's stupid okay this
00:56:33
geologic column contains limestone
00:56:35
scattered all throughout the geologic
00:56:36
column I'd like to ask him the question
00:56:38
I say fellas you have limestone
00:56:40
scattered off here this column how do
00:56:42
you know the age it's all limestone I
00:56:44
mean if I handed you a piece of
00:56:46
limestone how would you know if it's
00:56:47
hundred million year old Jurassic
00:56:48
limestone or 600 million year old
00:56:50
Cambrian limestone I mean how would you
00:56:51
tell the difference there's only one way
00:56:53
they can tell by the index fossils
00:56:56
that's how it's done folks
00:56:58
that is stupid because those fossils
00:57:01
don't count for anything else we'll see
00:57:03
in a minute they tell the kids each of
00:57:05
these layers is a different age 100
00:57:06
million 200 million 300 million real
00:57:08
impressive huge numbers now Charlie
00:57:10
Darwin did not like round numbers he
00:57:13
wanted to be more precise he said the
00:57:15
weld in deposits are three hundred six
00:57:16
million six hundred sixty-two thousand
00:57:18
four hundred years old now okay Charlie
00:57:22
I think that's stupid those layers are
00:57:24
not different ages folks all over the
00:57:26
world we find petrified trees standing
00:57:28
up running through multiple rock layers
00:57:32
now if you get a petrified tree standing
00:57:34
up running through different rock layers
00:57:36
I don't think it's smart to say those
00:57:38
layers are vastly different ages
00:57:41
petrified trees in the vertical position
00:57:43
they find them all over the world okay
00:57:45
here's one from Alabama came to come out
00:57:47
of a seam of coal through 20 feet of
00:57:49
rock into another seam of coal they
00:57:52
found about three dozen of them I think
00:57:53
in that one little coal mine one little
00:57:55
area while they're digging the coal out
00:57:56
petrified trees standing up Cookeville
00:57:59
Tennessee they found a bunch of them
00:58:01
this one's 30 feet tall standing up
00:58:03
joggins Nova Scotia is famous for their
00:58:06
petrified trees standing up in the
00:58:08
vertical position all over the area
00:58:10
there folks
00:58:11
those trees did not get slowly covered
00:58:14
by the sediments over millions of years
00:58:17
they would rot and fall down sometimes
00:58:20
the petrified trees are upside down
00:58:21
running through many rock layers
00:58:26
scientists estimated the bottom of
00:58:27
Spirit Lake in mount st. helens there
00:58:29
are now 20 thousand trees that were
00:58:30
blown out by the volcano thousands of
00:58:33
them are standing up in the bottom of
00:58:35
the lake already buried 15 feet deep in
00:58:36
mud
00:58:37
none of them grew there those trees are
00:58:42
going to petrify all it takes a few
00:58:43
years to petrify a piece of wood in the
00:58:46
laboratory can be done in 24 hours we
00:58:50
cover lots more and how fast things can
00:58:51
petrify in video tape number six of our
00:58:55
series but they dug up a guy that he
00:58:56
buried this they buried this doctor in
00:58:58
Tennessee 14 years later his wife died
00:59:00
when they went to dig the grave water
00:59:02
soaked into her grave they said no we
00:59:04
can't bury grandma there said they dug a
00:59:06
hole on the other side water soaked in
00:59:08
so they dug a hole buried ground moss
00:59:10
somewhere else then the kids got worried
00:59:11
about grandma grandpa they said they
00:59:13
wouldn't dug up his grave the arms had
00:59:15
rotted off but the rest of the body had
00:59:16
petrified in 14 years turned to stone
00:59:19
from water running through the coffin I
00:59:22
got tons of material on how fast things
00:59:25
can petrify those layers are not
00:59:28
different ages they all formed in one
00:59:29
big flood in the days of Noah to tell
00:59:32
the kids the layers of different ages is
00:59:33
stupid that just simply is not true so
00:59:36
what about carbon dating and
00:59:37
potassium-argon dating and rubidium
00:59:39
strontium dating it led to a wait
00:59:40
lead-206 uranium-235 uranium-238 well
00:59:43
we'll cover that after a quick break
00:59:45
here show you some ways that this is
00:59:48
just stupid okay that's not a way to
00:59:50
tell the age of anything we're gonna
00:59:51
give you some more evidence that
00:59:53
evolution is stupid now if you want to
00:59:56
believe in it that's perfectly fine I
00:59:57
don't care what you believe in but the
00:59:59
devil is laughing at you for believing
01:00:01
in that he has you fooled and he is
01:00:05
laughing at you if you want to believe you came from a
01:00:07
rock well you just enjoy yourself but
01:00:10
that's not science God made this world
01:00:12
God loves you God has a plan for your
01:00:15
life and if you don't want it well
01:00:17
that's your business but God loves you
01:00:20
and he wants you to come to heaven and
01:00:22
if you'd like to find out how to go to
01:00:23
heaven come see me I'll be glad to show
01:00:24
you I'm going it's not because I'm good
01:00:27
if I get what I deserve I'm in serious
01:00:29
trouble
01:00:30
but I've been forgiven by the blood of
01:00:34
Jesus Christ
01:00:35
you can have the same thing after the
01:00:38
break we'll show you some more things that make evolution stupid
01:00:40
coming up next thank you
01:00:59
1950s actually the late 1940s they
01:01:02
invented carbon dating we're gonna
01:01:04
explain a little bit about radiometric
01:01:05
dating and how it's supposed to work and
01:01:07
then show you that it does not work okay
01:01:09
your ats atmosphere here's about a
01:01:11
hundred miles thick and also protected
01:01:13
by a magnetic field radiation from the
01:01:15
Sun and from the stars mostly from the
01:01:17
Sun goes right through that magnetic
01:01:18
field some of it does and hits the
01:01:20
atmosphere and produces carbon-14
01:01:22
carbon-14 is radioactive normally carbon
01:01:26
is atomic number six which gives it
01:01:28
atomic atomic weight of 12 but this
01:01:30
nitrogen which is right next door to
01:01:32
carbon gets struck by radiation and it
01:01:34
turns it into carbon 14 a carbon-14 is
01:01:37
unstable it is radioactive it's always
01:01:40
breaking apart and you can hear it like
01:01:42
with a Geiger counter you know click
01:01:43
click click click just like uranium
01:01:44
because it's decaying they've discovered
01:01:47
it decays at a fairly consistent rate
01:01:49
about half of it will decay every 5730
01:01:52
years which means if I give you a pile
01:01:55
of carbon-14 five thousand seven and
01:01:58
thirty years later half of it would turn
01:01:59
back to nitrogen the rest would still be
01:02:02
carbon-14 theoretically it's a random
01:02:04
event but it could that's probably how
01:02:06
long it would take during photosynthesis
01:02:08
plants are breathing in carbon dioxide
01:02:09
and this radioactive carbon is mixed in
01:02:13
with the regular carbon the plant
01:02:15
doesn't seem to know or care if it's
01:02:16
getting radioactive carbon or regular
01:02:18
carbon it just takes it right in animals
01:02:22
eat the plants and make it part of their
01:02:23
body probably during your lifetime you
01:02:25
have either eaten plants or you've eaten
01:02:27
animals that have eaten plants
01:02:30
how many done that before so you
01:02:35
probably have radioactive carbon-14 in
01:02:38
you now theoretically what you have
01:02:42
venue should match whatever is in the
01:02:44
atmosphere about the same percentage
01:02:45
because the plants are always breathing
01:02:47
this stuff in and animals are always
01:02:49
eating the plants and we're always
01:02:50
eating the plants and the animals so it
01:02:52
should pretty much stay in balance it is
01:02:53
assumed rate the ratio of radioactive
01:02:56
carbon-14
01:02:57
to normal c12 in the atmosphere would be
01:03:00
the same found in living plants and
01:03:01
animals that is an assumption but it's a
01:03:03
reasonable assumption the atmosphere
01:03:05
today is point zero zero zero zero seven
01:03:08
six five percent not much that's how
01:03:12
much carbon-14 it has in it when the
01:03:15
plant or animal dies it stops eating
01:03:17
more breathing how many knew that
01:03:20
already okay so whatever it had in it
01:03:24
begins to decay since half of it will
01:03:27
leave in five thousand seven and thirty
01:03:29
years all you got to do is check to see
01:03:30
how much C 14 is in it how much C 14 is
01:03:33
in the atmosphere and if it's only got
01:03:36
half as much it's been dead for five
01:03:37
thousand seven thirty years sounds great
01:03:40
but doesn't work in theory it never goes
01:03:43
to zero but it goes from 1/2 to 1/4 to
01:03:45
an eighth to a sixteenth to a
01:03:46
thirty-second to not much okay
01:03:48
after four or five half-lives you can't
01:03:50
measure it so if anybody ever tells you
01:03:53
we know the earth is millions of years
01:03:54
old because of carbon dating you can
01:03:57
rest assured they don't have a clue what
01:03:58
they're talking about because if it
01:04:01
worked it would only work for thirty or
01:04:02
forty or fifty thousand years maximum
01:04:05
they compared the amount of C 14 in the
01:04:07
object being dated with the amount
01:04:09
currently in the atmosphere and estimate
01:04:12
how long the object has been dead it
01:04:13
sounds good but there are some
01:04:15
assumptions that mess everything up okay
01:04:17
assumption number one has the amount of
01:04:19
C 14 in the atmosphere always been the
01:04:21
same has it reached equilibrium this is
01:04:24
an interesting problem if I told you to
01:04:26
fill a barrel with water but I drilled
01:04:28
holes on the other side of the barrel
01:04:29
while you're filling it it's leaking out
01:04:32
at some point it's going to be leaking
01:04:35
at the same speed you're filling and yet
01:04:36
that point is called equilibrium you
01:04:39
will never fill the barrel past that
01:04:41
point unless you plug the holes or fill
01:04:44
faster
01:04:45
see it's filling and leaking at the same
01:04:47
time so like your checkbook now you put
01:04:50
it in at leaks out okay hopefully you
01:04:53
want to at least be at equilibrium okay
01:04:55
less than that you're going to be in
01:04:56
trouble eventually see if your outgo exceeds
01:04:58
your income your upkeep will be your
01:04:59
downfall every time they say if you took
01:05:04
a brand new planet Earth and stuck it
01:05:05
out in the solar system the Sun would
01:05:07
start producing carbon-14 it would start
01:05:10
decaying also right away and it'll take
01:05:12
about thirty thousand years to reach
01:05:14
this equilibrium point
01:05:15
well Willard Libby and others who
01:05:17
invented carbon-14 University Chicago
01:05:19
1947 253 he got a Nobel Prize for it in
01:05:22
there somewhere he said well it would
01:05:24
take 30,000 years to reach equilibrium
01:05:26
he said well we know the earth is
01:05:28
millions years old mistake number one so
01:05:32
we can ignore the equilibrium problem
01:05:33
mistake number two the Earth's
01:05:37
atmosphere has still not reached
01:05:38
equilibrium there's more c14 now than
01:05:41
there was ten years ago which proves the
01:05:44
earth is less than thirty thousand years
01:05:45
old which I could have told up just from
01:05:47
reading my Bible see if an animal is
01:05:51
still alive and be a plant or animal
01:05:53
okay it should have about sixteen clicks
01:05:55
per minute on your Geiger counter per
01:05:57
gram if it's zero years old actually
01:06:00
zero your is dead if it's getting only
01:06:03
eight clicks per minute and it's 50,000
01:06:06
seven and thirty years old if it's
01:06:07
giving you four clicks per minute it's
01:06:09
going through two half-lives it's only
01:06:10
it's gonna eleven thousand years old if
01:06:12
it's two CLECs per minute is seventeen
01:06:13
thousand years old this is how they date
01:06:15
it so if you're getting two-and-a-half
01:06:17
clicks per minute you just find the
01:06:18
point on your graph and draw the line
01:06:20
over and determine the age sounds real
01:06:23
simple but it doesn't work if we had
01:06:25
walked into a room and found a candle
01:06:28
burning on the table and I asked you the
01:06:30
question when was it lit you said I
01:06:34
don't know mr. Hoban is burning when I
01:06:35
got here okay well then let's do some
01:06:37
empirical science empirical sciences
01:06:40
things we can test and measure and
01:06:41
observe and test not theoretical I mean
01:06:44
empirical we can measure it and weigh it
01:06:46
let's measure the height of the candle
01:06:48
suppose the candle is seven inches tall
01:06:50
who can tell me when it was lit
01:06:56
okay nobody let's do some more empirical
01:06:58
science let's measure the rate of burn
01:07:00
suppose we determine it's burning an
01:07:02
inch an hour when was it lit
01:07:08
[Music]
01:07:12
billions of years ago haha you're gonna
01:07:17
have a hard time telling me unless
01:07:18
you're willing to make some assumptions
01:07:20
how tall was it when it started we don't
01:07:23
have any idea has it always burned out
01:07:26
the same rate huh we don't know that
01:07:27
either doing you find a fossil in the
01:07:30
dirt you can measure how much c14 is in
01:07:32
it very accurately by the way and you
01:07:36
can measure how fast it's decaying
01:07:38
that's just like measure in the height
01:07:40
of your candle and how fast it's burning
01:07:42
now when did that Elmo die you don't
01:07:44
have a clue unless you're willing to
01:07:47
assume that the c14 when it was alive is
01:07:50
the same as we have today and assume the
01:07:52
rate of decay has always been the same
01:07:53
down to history you can't prove either
01:07:55
of those living mollusk shells were
01:07:57
carbon dated to 2300 years old hello
01:08:01
they're still alive freshly killed Co
01:08:05
carbon dated 1300 years old shells from
01:08:08
living snails carbon dated 27 thousand
01:08:10
years old
01:08:11
that's stupid he's still alive okay I
01:08:14
know snails are slow but 27,000 years
01:08:16
he'd be dead one part of a mammoth is
01:08:19
29,000 years old and other parts forty
01:08:21
four thousand one part of dima was
01:08:24
40,000 years old another part was 26,000
01:08:26
and the wood next to it is 9,000 the
01:08:29
lower leg of a mammoth is 15,000 years
01:08:31
old the skin is twenty one thousand two
01:08:34
mammoths found side-by-side in Alaska
01:08:36
one is 16,000 ones 22,000 which numbers
01:08:38
right living penguins carbon dated 8000
01:08:41
years old 11 human skeletons the
01:08:44
earliest known human remains in the
01:08:45
Western Hemisphere were dated by
01:08:47
accelerator mass spectrometer all 11
01:08:49
dated about 5000 radiocarbon years lava
01:08:54
from a 1801 Hawaiian lava flow was 1.6
01:08:58
million years old
01:08:59
well hello is not even 200 another
01:09:04
volcano erupted in Hawaii 1959 when they
01:09:06
dated the lava it was 8 and 1/2 million
01:09:08
years old
01:09:09
these potassium-argon dating for that
01:09:11
not carbon Mount Etna in Sicily I climb
01:09:14
on it and when I was over there some
01:09:15
time ago erupt in 1972 three and a half
01:09:20
350,000 years old
01:09:22
mouth st. helens built a new lava dome
01:09:24
in 1982 they dated it got numbers from
01:09:29
350,000 to 2.8 million it's not even 20
01:09:34
years old here's what you oughta
01:09:38
consider about carbon dating samples of
01:09:40
known age it doesn't work if it's a
01:09:44
sample of unknown age it is assumed to
01:09:47
work that's stupid
01:09:52
in the last two years an absolute date
01:09:54
has been obtained for the Gann long beds
01:09:56
above the trendle beds it has the very
01:09:58
interesting value of three hundred
01:09:59
thousand years plus or minus three
01:10:02
hundred thousand years or they nailed
01:10:06
that one right on the head didn't he see
01:10:08
back in 1770 George Buffone said the
01:10:10
earth is seventy thousand years old 1905
01:10:14
the official age of the earth was two
01:10:16
billion when they went to the moon
01:10:19
they said the earth and the moon are
01:10:20
three and a half billion years old three
01:10:25
and a half billion dated with
01:10:26
potassium-argon dating now they're
01:10:29
telling the students it's 4.6 billion
01:10:31
years old let's see that means the Earth
01:10:34
is getting older at the rate of 21
01:10:35
million years per year that's 40 years
01:10:39
per minute aging rapidly folks that's
01:10:43
stupid okay all they do is add more time
01:10:45
to make the theory look more reasonable
01:10:47
long ago and far away and when you prove
01:10:50
it couldn't happen they say well it was
01:10:52
longer ago and farther away then they're
01:10:55
gonna tell the students one of the
01:10:56
evidences for evolution is embryology
01:10:58
now there are too many things about this
01:11:00
whole theory that make me angrier than
01:11:02
this so I'm gonna try to stay calm and
01:11:03
cool and collected while we discuss this
01:11:05
Ernst Haeckel embryology professor at
01:11:07
University of Jena in Germany loved
01:11:10
evolution theory when the Darwin's book
01:11:12
came out Ernst Haeckel read that book
01:11:15
the next year and said wow this is a
01:11:16
great theory all we need now some
01:11:18
evidence
01:11:21
nine years later they still had no
01:11:24
evidence saurons take I'll decided to
01:11:26
help Charlie out he was an embryology
01:11:29
professor of the study of animals before
01:11:31
they're born
01:11:32
you know the different embryos of all
01:11:33
these different animals he took drew he
01:11:35
made drawings that were fake to make
01:11:39
them look alike the students are taught
01:11:42
we have evidence from development I
01:11:44
don't think so
01:11:45
the similarity between early stages and
01:11:47
development of many different animals
01:11:49
helped convince Darwin that all forms of
01:11:52
life shared common ancestors actually
01:11:54
Darwin considered this by far the
01:11:57
strongest single class of evidence in
01:11:59
favor and class of facts in favor of his
01:12:01
theory this is stupid folks
01:12:04
I'll show you this textbook says human
01:12:08
embryo growing in the mother has gills
01:12:09
like a fish those little folds of skin
01:12:12
are not gills okay excuse me those
01:12:15
little wrinkles under your chin when
01:12:16
you're growing up later develop into
01:12:18
bones in the ear and glands in the
01:12:19
throat
01:12:20
they never have anything to do with
01:12:22
breathing I've seen folks that have five
01:12:24
or six chins and they can't breathe
01:12:26
through any of them but the top one
01:12:28
those they're not gill slits burnt steak
01:12:32
although said the turning point in his
01:12:33
thinking was when he read Darwin's book
01:12:36
1860 Hinkle took a drawing of a dog and
01:12:39
a human embryo and he changed him to
01:12:41
make him look exactly alike his fake
01:12:45
drawings looked almost identical on top
01:12:48
of the real drawings underneath her
01:12:49
hackles fake drawings he lied folks
01:12:52
intentionally he made huge charts of his
01:12:56
posters of his drawings of these embryos
01:12:58
and traveled all over Germany and just
01:13:00
about by himself converted the Germans
01:13:02
to believing in evolution which later
01:13:05
led to the obvious question well if
01:13:07
evolution is true then maybe one of the
01:13:09
races of people has developed farther
01:13:10
than the rest which by the way is a
01:13:13
subtitle to Charlie Darwin's book you
01:13:14
can look at it for yourself
01:13:15
the Origin of Species by means of
01:13:17
natural selection or the preservation of
01:13:19
favoured races in the struggle for life
01:13:22
see Darwin was a racist we cover lots
01:13:26
more on that on video number five that
01:13:28
one is politically incorrect you don't
01:13:29
want to watch that one trust me
01:13:32
on top or hickel's fake drawings
01:13:34
underneath their actual photographs of
01:13:36
what he claimed he was drawing a picture
01:13:37
of now either he's a lousy artist or
01:13:42
he's a liar
01:13:43
well the turns out he's a liar he was
01:13:45
convicted of fraud by his own University
01:13:47
proven to be a fraud but guess what
01:13:51
pickles fake drawings are still used in
01:13:53
textbooks in your state right now
01:13:57
there's a textbook used at the
01:13:58
University of West Florida middle of the
01:14:00
Bible Belt it's only been proven wrong
01:14:03
125 years ago I know it takes a while to
01:14:06
get textbooks up to date but that ought
01:14:08
to be plenty of time that's stupid those
01:14:11
are not gill slits on the embryo here's
01:14:13
an irish textbook I was just there a few
01:14:14
months ago says the embryo has gill
01:14:16
slits that's baloney this one says the
01:14:18
embryo has gills Glencoe biology says
01:14:20
they have gills proven wrong 125 years
01:14:24
ago this biology textbook says the human
01:14:27
and baby human embryo has gills here's
01:14:29
this Tim Berra writing his book on the
01:14:31
myth of creationism and he mentions the
01:14:34
gills are evidence for evolution the
01:14:36
only hundred and 15 years behind him
01:14:38
Miller's still teaching 125 years after
01:14:40
it was proven wrong I debated Miller on
01:14:42
the radio on a st. Louis radio station
01:14:44
one time there's a college textbook
01:14:45
until teaching the kids here the embryo
01:14:47
has gills this one says it shows the
01:14:50
kids a five to six week embryo but it
01:14:52
says by seven months the fetus looks
01:14:56
from the outside like a tiny normal baby
01:14:57
but it's not it's not a baby at seven
01:15:01
months excuse me a whole bunch of kids
01:15:05
born at five and a half months survived
01:15:08
34%
01:15:09
that's stupid to say it's not a baby at
01:15:11
seven months development maybe heard
01:15:14
about the woman who had surgery on her
01:15:15
baby before it was born they cut the
01:15:18
mother open cut the uterus open the five
01:15:21
month old baby five months in
01:15:23
development reached out and grabbed the
01:15:24
doctors finger it's not a baby huh if
01:15:29
it's not a human being
01:15:30
what kind of being is it if it's not
01:15:34
alive why is it growing why do they keep
01:15:37
that in the textbooks well that's the
01:15:38
only way to justify abortion they want
01:15:41
you to think it's not a human yet just a
01:15:43
fish with gills no it's a human the
01:15:46
instant is conceived an abortion is murder plain
01:15:50
and simple we cover lots more on that on
01:15:52
my videotape number four you don't wanna
01:15:54
watch that one either oh then I'm gonna
01:15:57
tell the kids we've got evidence for
01:15:58
evolution because dinosaurs turned to
01:16:00
birds
01:16:02
this is stupid
01:16:05
this guy says dinosaurs are alive as
01:16:07
Birds well kids in case you don't know
01:16:10
there are a few differences between a
01:16:12
dinosaur and a bird you don't just put a
01:16:17
few feathers on him and say come on man
01:16:18
give it a try it won't hurt too bad
01:16:24
that's stupid okay dinosaurs did not
01:16:27
turn to birds okay
01:16:29
somewhere along the line while his front
01:16:31
legs are developing into wings they're
01:16:33
gonna be half leg halfway which means
01:16:34
you can't run and he can't fly yet they
01:16:38
have a hard time ending no dinosaurs did
01:16:41
not turn into birds that is stupid okay
01:16:44
they say we've got proof that they did
01:16:46
Archaeopteryx
01:16:47
which means ancient wing that's supposed
01:16:50
to be evidence for evolution it's in
01:16:52
just about every textbook I've seen
01:16:53
dealing with this topic Archaeopteryx is
01:16:55
supposed to be evidence here's a 1999
01:16:57
textbook our captrick was proven to be a
01:17:00
fraud in 1986
01:17:03
so this author is 13 years behind the
01:17:06
time Archaeopteryx means ancient wing they're
01:17:09
gonna say see boys and girls he's got
01:17:10
claws on his wings yeah so twelve Birds
01:17:14
today have claws on their wings the
01:17:16
ostrich does the Watson does too Rocco
01:17:18
does Ibis does so what it's kind of
01:17:20
unusual but twelve Birds have it they're
01:17:22
gonna say well he's got teeth in his
01:17:23
beak that proves he's got a reptilian
01:17:25
feature well now wait a minute some
01:17:27
reptiles have teeth some don't some
01:17:30
mammals have teeth some don't some fish
01:17:32
have teeth some don't some of you have
01:17:34
teeth some don't
01:17:38
that doesn't prove a thing all right
01:17:40
Ellen fiducia is considered one of the
01:17:42
world's experts on birds he believes in
01:17:44
evolution University Chapel Hill North
01:17:46
Carolina Chapel Hill
01:17:47
he said paleontologists have tried to
01:17:49
turn Archaeopteryx into an Earthbound
01:17:51
feathered dinosaur but it's not it's a
01:17:53
bird a perching bird and no amount of
01:17:55
paleo babble is gonna change that it's a
01:17:59
bird by the way even by their twisted
01:18:01
thinking birds are found in layers lower
01:18:03
than Archaeopteryx if you find fully
01:18:07
formed birds in rock the toothaches 130
01:18:09
million years old then Archaeopteryx at
01:18:11
65 million years old cannot be a missing
01:18:13
link can it because birds were already
01:18:16
here even with their dumb geologic
01:18:19
column it doesn't work we cover lots
01:18:21
more on that on video four they say bird
01:18:23
feathers evolved from scales well that's
01:18:26
stupid in the first place they got from
01:18:28
different genes on the chromosome okay
01:18:29
develop totally different a scale is a
01:18:31
hard wrinkle in the skin they attach to
01:18:34
the skin very differently
01:18:35
feathers are incredibly complex folks
01:18:38
unbelievably complicated they're both
01:18:40
made from the same protein keratin and
01:18:42
that's where the similarity stops so
01:18:45
what battleships and forks are both made
01:18:48
of iron
01:18:50
doesn't prove they both evolved from a
01:18:51
tin can proves the engineers using the
01:18:54
same material for different functions
01:18:55
and God used keratin for fingernails and
01:18:58
hair and scales and feathers so same
01:19:01
designer that's what it proved a lot
01:19:02
more on the bird evolution in the book
01:19:03
icons if you wanna get that then they
01:19:05
tell the kids about the peppered moth
01:19:06
yes boys and girls somebody in England
01:19:09
went around and counted the moths on the
01:19:10
trees must have been a government
01:19:13
project
01:19:16
they discovered it's 95% light moths and
01:19:18
5% black well so the story goes they
01:19:22
burn coal in the factories the trees
01:19:24
turn black and the malls changed to
01:19:27
black moths because when they counted him again they
01:19:29
said they found ninety-five percent
01:19:30
black and five percent light actually
01:19:32
the whole story is a lie it never
01:19:34
happened
01:19:35
after 40 years of watching they found
01:19:38
two moths on the trees to total out of
01:19:43
40 years so they glued dead laws to the
01:19:47
tree to take a picture for your kid's
01:19:49
textbook then you wanted to get a
01:19:53
picture of a bird eating a moth so he
01:19:55
put some moss in refrigerator to calm
01:19:57
him down so they got real nearly frozen
01:19:59
then he put it on the tree and they
01:20:01
could acquit him hang on to the tree so
01:20:02
he warmed him up on the hood of his car
01:20:04
put a monitor on the tree and the moth
01:20:06
is staggering around trying to warm up
01:20:08
you know and a bird ate when he got a
01:20:09
picture at Wow proof of evolution it's a
01:20:11
lie didn't happen even if it were true
01:20:15
dark moss and light malls were there at
01:20:18
the beginning and dark malls and light
01:20:20
balls were there at the end
01:20:21
the ratio of population might have
01:20:23
shifted but if the story wasn't true
01:20:25
so doesn't prove anything that's stupid
01:20:27
that's not evidence for evolution they
01:20:30
tell the kids we've got vestigial
01:20:31
structures now a vestigial structure is
01:20:33
something you don't need anymore
01:20:34
the supporting girls you have an
01:20:36
appendix that you don't need anymore
01:20:38
it's a vestigial structure that's proof
01:20:40
of evolution well excuse me you do need
01:20:42
your appendix okay that is stupid the
01:20:44
appendix is part of your immune system
01:20:45
if your appendix is taken out you can
01:20:47
still live okay but it increases your
01:20:50
susceptibility to quite a few diseases
01:20:52
you can live without both your legs and
01:20:54
both your arms in both your eyes also
01:20:55
that doesn't prove you don't need them
01:20:57
[Music]
01:20:58
does it there are no vestige of organs
01:21:03
and even if there were that would be the
01:21:05
opposite of evolution that's losing not
01:21:07
gaining this textbook says boys and
01:21:10
girls whales and many organisms here
01:21:12
like a whale retain traces of their
01:21:14
evolutionary history for example the
01:21:17
whale retains pelvic and leg bones as
01:21:19
useless vestiges I'm sorry that's not
01:21:23
true
01:21:24
this one says just imagine whales
01:21:26
walking around it's true these little
01:21:30
bones right there's what they're talking
01:21:31
about just imagine him walking around
01:21:39
Thanks see it now can't you I needs a
01:21:43
good imagination and some LSD and you'll
01:21:44
be able to see that well walking in real
01:21:47
life this textbook says the whales
01:21:51
pelvis is evidence of its evolution from
01:21:53
four-legged land dwelling mammals
01:21:56
well that is stupid okay those bones in
01:21:59
the whales abdomen are essential to hold
01:22:02
muscles that support the reproductive
01:22:04
system without those bones and those
01:22:06
special muscles the whales cannot
01:22:07
reproduce this has nothing to do with
01:22:10
walking on land
01:22:11
it has to do with getting more baby
01:22:12
whales so the author of the wrote this
01:22:15
is either ignorant of his whale anatomy
01:22:16
and should not be writing a book about
01:22:17
it
01:22:18
he's a liar trying to push a theory off
01:22:20
on our kids here this one says whales
01:22:24
once lived on land whales were not
01:22:27
always sea dwellers modern whales show
01:22:29
skeletal evidence of previous existence
01:22:31
on dry land
01:22:32
buried deep in a whale's hip muscles are
01:22:35
too small bones all that is left of the
01:22:37
whales pelvis and hind legs that's
01:22:40
stupid
01:22:43
the male and female bones are very
01:22:45
different on whales check your whale
01:22:46
Anatomy and tear that page out of your
01:22:48
book has no business being in there this
01:22:51
textbook says humans have a tailbone at
01:22:54
the end of the spine that is of no
01:22:55
apparent use I was debating a guy in
01:22:59
North Alabama he was the president of
01:23:00
the North Alabama atheist Association or
01:23:02
something like that he got up and he
01:23:04
said folks we've got evidence revolution
01:23:06
humans have a tailbone they no longer
01:23:08
need when is my turn I got up and I said
01:23:11
mr. Patterson I taught biology and
01:23:13
Anatomy I happen to know there are nine
01:23:15
little muscles that attach to the tail
01:23:17
bone without which you cannot perform
01:23:19
some very valuable functions
01:23:22
I will not tell you what they all are
01:23:23
but go read your Grayson out of man you
01:23:24
can figure it out I said however mr.
01:23:26
Patterson if you think the tailbone is
01:23:27
vestigial I Kent Hovind will pay right
01:23:31
now to have yours removed and over
01:23:41
that is stupid folks the tailbone is not
01:23:44
vestigial this one says the coccyx
01:23:46
that's the tailbone the small bone at
01:23:48
the end of the human vertebral column
01:23:49
has no present function and is thought
01:23:52
to be the remainder of bones that once
01:23:53
occupied the long tail of a tree living
01:23:55
ancestry I was taught when I went to
01:23:58
school man used to have a tail but he
01:24:00
lost it because he didn't need it I
01:24:02
thought it didn't need it have you ever
01:24:05
thought how handy a tail would be have
01:24:08
you ever come to the door with two sacks
01:24:09
or groceries but never nice man be able
01:24:12
to grab that door and walk right around
01:24:13
and get in because we didn't need it man
01:24:18
you could drive the car tune the radio
01:24:19
knob and hold a coke at the same time
01:24:23
we're going to tell the kids that
01:24:24
lobe-finned fish show evolution yes boys
01:24:27
and girls during the Devonian period 410
01:24:30
million years ago that were fish with
01:24:32
lobe fins what that means there's a
01:24:34
short arm and then the fin grows well
01:24:37
that's stupid okay the lobe-finned fish
01:24:39
are still alive they called the
01:24:40
coelacanth and when they found the first
01:24:42
coelacanth in 1938 first folks people
01:24:45
didn't believe it they said it can't be
01:24:46
true because they died millions years
01:24:47
ago when they finally proved yes they're
01:24:50
still here all they said was wow they
01:24:53
survived for millions of years
01:24:55
never dawned on them that maybe question
01:24:57
the whole theory never dawned on him
01:24:59
when dr. Roy Mackel went to Africa and
01:25:02
did expeditions on dinosaurs still alive
01:25:06
in African swamp University of Chicago
01:25:08
microbiology professor dr. Roy Mackel
01:25:10
wrote this book he went over there twice
01:25:13
interviewed folks who've seen living
01:25:15
dinosaurs people who've never seen a
01:25:17
white man when he when he showed him
01:25:20
that Apatosaurus they said yeah that's
01:25:24
Moe Kelly and Bambi he lives out in the
01:25:25
river he's not friendly don't get close
01:25:29
dr. Michaelson fellows it's a dinosaur
01:25:31
they've been dead for 70 million years
01:25:33
the natives said well we're sorry we
01:25:36
didn't know about that
01:25:37
all we know is we see him out there once
01:25:40
in a while so Mackel gets back writes
01:25:42
this book and says folks there are still
01:25:43
some dinosaurs alive in Africa then he
01:25:45
says it's amazing they survived for 70
01:25:47
million years never will cross his brain
01:25:51
that may be your basic theory is wrong
01:25:53
that thought will never enter his mind I
01:25:56
don't think it ought to lobe-finned fish
01:25:59
are so alive folks I tell them trata
01:26:01
bites are good index fossils for rock
01:26:03
that is 600 million years old well
01:26:06
that's stupid okay there's man and human
01:26:09
shoe print where a guy stepped on and
01:26:10
squashed a trilobite how could a human
01:26:14
step on a trilobite I'd say 500 million
01:26:18
years ago one guy said maybe aliens
01:26:20
visited the planet and stepped on a
01:26:22
trilobite trilobite had the most
01:26:26
sophisticated I ever found in nature
01:26:28
it's one of the first animals to evolve
01:26:30
and it's already got the most complex
01:26:32
eyeball I don't think so these index the
01:26:35
whole thing about index fossils is
01:26:37
stupid okay there aren't any index
01:26:39
fossils the grapdelites is the index
01:26:41
fossil for 410 million year old rock and
01:26:43
yet they're still alive right now in the
01:26:45
South Pacific they tell the kids the
01:26:47
dinosaurs are index fossils for 70
01:26:49
million year old rock folks dinosaur
01:26:52
blood was found inside the bone don't
01:26:55
you think it's gonna decay in less than
01:26:56
70 million years there's enormous
01:26:58
evidence that man and dinosaurs have
01:26:59
always lived together we covered that
01:27:02
for two and a half hours on video number
01:27:04
three of our blue series of tapes Jean
01:27:07
Thomas missionary friend of mine was in
01:27:08
the Congo swamp for 42 years as a
01:27:10
missionary he said I had two big Me's in
01:27:12
my church that killed an 8 1
01:27:14
yes dinosaurs are still alive California
01:27:18
1925 this thing washed up on the beach
01:27:20
called California's
01:27:21
Nessie laid there on the beach and rot
01:27:25
it away here's a guy behind it with a
01:27:26
rifle in the front you can see the
01:27:27
critters head net going off to the right
01:27:32
the neck was 20 feet long one atheist
01:27:36
wrote me a letter and said Hovind you're
01:27:38
so stupid don't you know that was a whale show me
01:27:43
any neck on a whale would you please no
01:27:49
I think dinosaurs have always lived with
01:27:51
man they were called dragons for most of
01:27:52
history people killed most of them there
01:27:54
could be a few still around wouldn't
01:27:55
affect me at all okay I don't think
01:27:57
there's a lot of it there could be a few
01:27:58
still out there to change the name in
01:27:59
1841 to dinosaur that's all that
01:28:02
happened and a man exterminated most of
01:28:04
the mention in the Bible you cover all
01:28:06
that video number three we're gonna tell
01:28:08
the kids we've got evidence for
01:28:09
evolution
01:28:10
it works by natural selection well yeah
01:28:14
natural selection works but see
01:28:15
evolution is based on two faulty
01:28:16
assumptions number one they say
01:28:18
mutations make something new that's
01:28:19
never been observed and natural
01:28:21
selection makes it survive that's never
01:28:23
been observed that sounds good
01:28:25
theoretically but it's never been
01:28:26
observed mutations happen there's no
01:28:29
question okay thousands and thousands of
01:28:31
mutation happen mutations happen but
01:28:33
even guys like Pierre Graz will say no
01:28:34
matter how numerous they may be
01:28:36
mutations do not produce any kind of
01:28:38
evolution they're only scrambling
01:28:40
existing information they're not adding
01:28:42
anything new here's a five legged ball
01:28:44
that's a mutant there's no new
01:28:46
information added
01:28:47
doesn't the ball already have the gene
01:28:49
code to make a leg you just built one in
01:28:52
the wrong place that's all this is not
01:28:54
new information this is scrambled
01:28:56
information that's not new there's a
01:28:59
short legged sheep
01:29:01
he's the first one the wolf is gonna
01:29:03
catch go boys go here comes the wolf
01:29:07
symbaloo Herman didn't make it here's a
01:29:11
two-headed turtle that's a mutant not
01:29:13
ninja but he's mutant he's gonna freeze
01:29:16
first winter nobody makes a double neck
01:29:18
turtleneck sweater I've never seen one
01:29:21
I've been looking see a mutation is
01:29:24
scrambling information that already
01:29:25
exists it's not you could take the
01:29:27
letters from the word Christmas and get
01:29:28
all sorts of different words scrambling
01:29:31
about but you never get Xerox zebra or
01:29:33
Queen the letters aren't available and a
01:29:35
mutation does not give you new
01:29:37
information it scrambles existing
01:29:38
information this textbook shows the kids
01:29:40
a four wing fly look what it says now
01:29:43
kids you got to be careful you'll be
01:29:45
tricked on this one normal fruit flies
01:29:47
have two wings this mutant has for this
01:29:51
rare mutation like most mutations is
01:29:52
harmful look what it says beneficial
01:29:56
mutations are the raw material for
01:29:59
natural selection oh why didn't they
01:30:03
show us one why did they show us an
01:30:06
example of a bad mutation and tell us
01:30:08
that good ones is how it works show me a
01:30:11
good one
01:30:12
you know why nobody's ever shown a good
01:30:14
mutation because nobody's ever seen a
01:30:17
good mutation one professor I was
01:30:20
debating said I know a good mutation he
01:30:23
said people in Africa that get sickle
01:30:24
cell anemia cannot get malaria
01:30:30
Wow it's like saying if you cut off your
01:30:32
legs you can't get athlete's foot yeah
01:30:36
you're you're probably right but that's
01:30:37
not a beneficial mutation they tell them
01:30:42
natural evolution and natural selection
01:30:44
go together he says this textbook says
01:30:46
natural selection causes evolution
01:30:48
that's stupid okay natural selection
01:30:50
doesn't cause any evolution natural
01:30:52
selection is a conservative process that
01:30:54
keeps the species strong that's all it
01:30:56
does that's all it can do it has no
01:30:58
creative properties natural selection
01:31:01
Nature can only select what there is to
01:31:03
select from if I said I'm gonna go
01:31:06
around the world I'm gonna try to raise
01:31:08
a race of people that are over 12 feet
01:31:10
tall so everybody under 12 feet tall
01:31:13
what we're gonna kill all your after
01:31:15
year we kill everybody under 12 feet
01:31:17
tall well there's nobody to select from
01:31:20
is there natural selection can only
01:31:23
select what there is to select from it's
01:31:25
a conservative process if you work in a
01:31:27
factory that produced cars and your job
01:31:29
was to check for defects you know kick
01:31:32
the tires slam the doors etc drive it
01:31:33
around and you caught every single
01:31:35
mistake and you rejected it how long
01:31:38
would it take that process to change the
01:31:40
car to an airplane
01:31:41
[Music]
01:31:43
you say it'll never change it that's my
01:31:45
point
01:31:46
natural selection is like a quality
01:31:48
control it make sure the bad ones don't
01:31:50
survive but it's not going to change it
01:31:52
to something else
01:31:54
survival of the fittest does not explain
01:31:57
arrival of the fittest
01:31:58
and by the way survival of the fittest
01:32:01
is what I call is what is called a
01:32:02
tautology kids there's a big word you
01:32:03
can learn this you can use this one on
01:32:05
your brother a tautology is a sentence
01:32:08
that means nothing you can say oh you're
01:32:11
speaking in tautologies I'll show you
01:32:15
how it works you say professor why did
01:32:18
it survive that's all because it's to
01:32:20
fit us you know survival of the fittest
01:32:21
oh how do you know it's the fittest
01:32:25
because they survive I see is that the
01:32:28
way it works that's exactly the way it
01:32:30
works that's stupid folks okay actually
01:32:32
it's not survival of the fittest if a
01:32:33
whale goes through a school of fish and
01:32:35
eats 80% of them it's survival of the
01:32:37
luckiest
01:32:41
I mean if a snake crawls into a bird's
01:32:43
nest and eats three out of four eggs
01:32:44
does the snake select the weakest of the
01:32:47
birds to eat they're still an egg man
01:32:50
he's gonna eat them all then they do the
01:32:53
thing with the fruit flies for the kids
01:32:54
I say boys and girls they raise flies in
01:32:56
the laboratory and we nuke them and
01:32:57
microwave them and x-ray time we got
01:32:58
these flies to have mutated babies
01:33:00
we got flies with curled wings they fly
01:33:03
around booze go anywhere they got flies
01:33:06
with no wings what do you call that
01:33:08
crawl can't fly they raised all these
01:33:12
mutated flies in the laboratory and said
01:33:15
you know what folks every fly we got was
01:33:16
worse off than Grandpa fly yeah so so
01:33:22
they tell the kids you see this proves
01:33:23
that flies have evolved as far as they
01:33:25
can go
01:33:28
no this proves you messing up with
01:33:30
perfectly good flies okay God made them
01:33:33
right and you're messing them up Billy
01:33:34
I'm alone all right this guy says we
01:33:37
we've got proof revolution because flies
01:33:39
in the north have wings four percent
01:33:41
larger than flies in the south that's
01:33:43
proof we all came from Iraq ahead stupid
01:33:48
I'm sorry then they tell the kids boys
01:33:50
and girls today you're going to learn to
01:33:51
think critically watch this sentence
01:33:54
here carefully some kids doing this for
01:33:55
homework tonight boys and girls do you
01:33:58
think humans are still evolving now what
01:34:01
kind of question is that
01:34:02
that's one of those questions like have
01:34:05
you stopped beating your wife yet
01:34:09
well if I say yes I'm admitting I did if
01:34:13
I say no I'm still doing it Wow go back
01:34:21
and look at the original question do you
01:34:24
think humans are still evolving doesn't
01:34:27
that question assume that evolution has
01:34:29
happened what if a kid doesn't believe
01:34:33
in evolution how is he supposed to do
01:34:35
his homework tonight that question does
01:34:38
not teach him how to think critically
01:34:39
that teaches them what to think not how
01:34:41
to think that's a soviet-style
01:34:43
indoctrination type question and the
01:34:45
textbooks are full of them another on
01:34:49
how to think and when the kid gets done
01:34:51
with this course he's gonna think he
01:34:52
knows how to think but he doesn't he
01:34:54
knows how to be told what to think
01:34:56
brainwashing at taxpayer expense quite a
01:35:01
few lies in the textbooks covered in
01:35:02
this one we got a lot more on video
01:35:04
number four it off Hitler said you let
01:35:06
me control the textbooks I'll control
01:35:07
the state what is in these books anyway
01:35:10
there's a lot of good science in there
01:35:12
but there's some poison professor Wilson
01:35:15
at Harvard University said as we're many
01:35:18
persons from Alabama I was a born-again
01:35:20
Christian when I was fifteen I entered
01:35:22
the Southern Baptist Church with great
01:35:23
fervor and interest in the
01:35:24
fundamentalist religion
01:35:25
I left at 17 when I got to the
01:35:28
University of Alabama and heard about
01:35:29
evolution theory one year of college
01:35:32
destroyed his faith Philip Wentworth
01:35:35
said when I went to Harvard in the fall
01:35:37
of 24 I was not only a Christian I was a
01:35:40
candidate for the ministry then for four
01:35:44
years I doing a process of mental
01:35:45
readjustment which shook my to the world
01:35:47
to its foundations see you at all one
01:35:49
thing was clear to me if I could
01:35:51
reconcile religion with intelligence I
01:35:53
knew that I could go on into my chosen
01:35:55
career fortified by the experience if I
01:35:57
could not every consideration of Honor
01:35:59
would compel me to make other plans in
01:36:01
the end I gave up the ministry Scott
01:36:07
wrote me a letter to doctor over until I
01:36:08
went to college my faith in God was
01:36:09
sound my college history class helped
01:36:11
destroy that faith I started to doubt
01:36:13
Bible start without the Bible and God's
01:36:15
Word I even started to doubt Jesus was
01:36:18
truly God's son and that he died and
01:36:19
rose from my sins my best friend showed
01:36:21
me here tapes and I was in awe of what I saw
01:36:23
everything I thought I knew about life
01:36:24
was changed praise God people sit home
01:36:28
watch a video that you will never get to
01:36:29
come to church especially men if they're
01:36:33
sitting at home holding the remote
01:36:37
there's this feeling of power surges
01:36:41
through their body how many know what
01:36:43
I'm talking about now can I be honest
01:36:44
okay right that's why we purposely leave
01:36:49
my videotapes uncopyrighted copy them
01:36:52
and give them to your friends man get
01:36:53
them saved all right 75% of the kids
01:36:56
from Christian homes ago to public
01:36:58
schools are going to lose their faith
01:36:59
after one year college 75% peer
01:37:07
professor
01:37:08
Boehner said evolution is a fairy tale
01:37:10
for grownups the theory has helped
01:37:12
nothing in the progress of science it is
01:37:14
useless Malcolm Muggeridge said I am
01:37:18
convinced the theory of evolution
01:37:19
especially the extent to which it's been
01:37:20
taught applied will be one of the great
01:37:22
jokes in the history books of the future
01:37:24
it's a joke and it would be a joke if it
01:37:27
weren't for the tragic results how many
01:37:30
kids are taught this thing every day and
01:37:32
believe it and it destroys their faith
01:37:35
Adolf Hitler was a strong believer in
01:37:37
evolution he thought the Jews were in
01:37:40
inferior species and needed to be
01:37:44
eliminated for the good of humanity
01:37:47
Joseph Stalin was an evolutionist
01:37:49
Trotsky was an evolutionist Pol Pot from
01:37:53
Cambodia was a strong believer in
01:37:54
evolution whichever lots more on that in video
01:37:56
number 5 scientists are GoBot teaching
01:38:00
that evolution is a fact of life our
01:38:02
great con men the story they are telling
01:38:04
maybe the greatest hoax ever in
01:38:06
explaining evolution we do not have one
01:38:08
iota affect evolution is a shell game
01:38:11
you've seen those shell games where they
01:38:13
put the pea down there and they put the
01:38:15
three shells on it the guy tries to get
01:38:16
you confused you know he misses him
01:38:17
around
01:38:18
evolution is like a shell game if you
01:38:21
ask the biologist where is the best
01:38:23
evidence revolution he'll say oh it's in
01:38:26
geology I debated dr. Pig lucci it's
01:38:29
debate number twelve I think of my
01:38:30
series out there of the read series of
01:38:32
tapes those are debates I said dr. piggy
01:38:34
oh gee you have gotten six hundred and
01:38:36
fifty thousand dollars in grant money to
01:38:39
study evolution of plants you've been
01:38:42
teaching a course on the evolution of
01:38:44
plants for thirty years what is the best
01:38:48
evidence of evolution
01:38:50
you're aware of and he said the
01:38:54
evolution of Wales you're you're a
01:39:01
botanist telling me the evolution of
01:39:03
Wales is your best evidence it's always
01:39:06
this way folks the geologist thinks the
01:39:08
anthropologist has the evidence the
01:39:10
anthropologist says oh no we don't have
01:39:11
it the biologist has it it's a shell
01:39:14
game the only problem is there's no pea
01:39:15
under any of them nobody has the
01:39:19
evidence it's a joke
01:39:20
Sir Arthur Keith was selected to write
01:39:22
the foreword to Darwin's book when it
01:39:24
was republished in the 1959 do this he
01:39:26
was a strong believer in evolution
01:39:27
Arthur Keith said evolution is unproved
01:39:30
and unprovable we believe it because the
01:39:32
only alternative is special creation and
01:39:35
that is unthinkable I mean you're not
01:39:40
even allowed to think that maybe there's
01:39:41
a creator the only alternative he's
01:39:45
right by the way the Russian atheist
01:39:48
astronomer came to America and spoke at
01:39:49
one of the universities and he said
01:39:50
started off his speech he said folks
01:39:52
either there is a God or there isn't I
01:39:57
thought boy this guy's brilliant he
01:40:01
nailed that point right on the head I
01:40:02
got to give him credit for that one and
01:40:04
then he said both possibilities are
01:40:08
frightening I thought wow that's a good
01:40:14
statement you see if there is a God we
01:40:17
better find out who he is and find out
01:40:19
what he wants and do what he says if
01:40:22
there is no God we're in trouble
01:40:26
we're hurtling through space around the
01:40:28
Sun right now a 66,000 miles an hour and
01:40:30
nobody's in charge
01:40:34
that's a scary thought it's real simple
01:40:40
Bible says in the beginning God created
01:40:42
the heaven and the earth the Christian
01:40:45
view of history is very simple God made
01:40:46
the world in six days just like he said
01:40:48
he did and that explains all the
01:40:50
symbiosis relationships how can certain
01:40:53
animals of certain plants require each
01:40:54
other which one evolve first there are
01:40:56
zillions of symbiosis relationships that
01:40:59
can't be explained by evolution the
01:41:01
pre-flood world was very different the
01:41:03
people lived to be nine hundred years
01:41:04
old we cover that on video number two
01:41:07
why they live to be nine hundred you can
01:41:08
check out my website and see them right
01:41:09
there dr. Dino comm during this time
01:41:12
when people live to be nine hundred
01:41:14
reptiles grew to be huge sea reptiles
01:41:17
even today never stop growing reptiles
01:41:20
grow all their life so if reptile has to
01:41:23
be nine hundred years old he's going to
01:41:25
get real big dinosaurs were big lizards
01:41:29
that lived with Adam and Eve and then
01:41:31
Noah took dinosaurs on the ark people
01:41:35
see dinosaurs on the ark they're kind of
01:41:36
big aren't they well the big ones were
01:41:40
big but the little ones were little
01:41:45
and Noah was 600 years old when he built
01:41:47
that boat I bet he was smart enough to
01:41:48
figure out you don't have to bring the
01:41:50
biggest ones you can find
01:41:53
bring two babies just be sure to get a
01:41:56
pink one and a blue one that'll be
01:41:58
important later after the flood was over
01:42:03
people killed mustard dragons as they
01:42:05
recall that's why there's legends of
01:42:07
dragons all through history
01:42:08
what's the climate killed a lot of
01:42:10
people don't live to be 900 anymore we
01:42:12
cover all that on video number two and
01:42:13
there may be a few still around
01:42:15
Christians don't need to worry about
01:42:16
dinosaurs they're part of the normal
01:42:18
creation the mention in the Bible it's
01:42:21
all there folks we just got to get a
01:42:22
good biblical view of history God
01:42:24
created this world see it's real simple
01:42:25
let's summarize here God made the world
01:42:28
it didn't evolve evolution is stupid
01:42:31
there are hundreds of more reasons we
01:42:32
can give we're gonna run out of time
01:42:33
though but if God made the world he owns
01:42:35
it that means he makes the rules
01:42:39
like the Ten Commandments we are guilty
01:42:43
of breaking his rules I'll sure rule
01:42:47
number nine commandment number nine thou
01:42:49
shalt not bear false witness that means
01:42:51
don't lie how many of you have ever lied
01:42:54
before come on you don't do another one
01:42:58
put your hand up
01:43:00
give me that pious look number eight
01:43:06
don't steal how many ever stole
01:43:09
something you already told me you're a
01:43:11
liar now come on
01:43:14
you don't have to read very far to
01:43:16
realize we're guilty which means we're
01:43:20
gonna be punished or find a substitute
01:43:24
see I can't substitute for your sins
01:43:26
because I got a whole bunch of my own
01:43:28
but Jesus Christ is not only willing
01:43:31
he's able he wants to take your place he
01:43:36
wants to pay for your sins it's real
01:43:38
simple
01:43:39
February 9th 1969 my friend said Kent
01:43:43
you're a sinner
01:43:44
I said well you can say that again said
01:43:48
you deserve to go to hell but Jesus died
01:43:51
for you he wants you to save you he
01:43:53
wants to save you if you'll ask him
01:43:55
he'll save you right now and I bowed my
01:43:58
head said Lord I'm a sinner and I
01:43:59
deserve to go to hell but would you
01:44:01
please forgive me and save me and I've
01:44:04
got God's promise I'm going to heaven
01:44:05
hey if you died today where would you go
01:44:08
you got to think about it because you
01:44:09
will be dead for a long time
01:44:12
doesn't matter how long you live you're
01:44:14
gonna be dead longer than that
01:44:17
you know George Washington died 200
01:44:19
years ago and he's still dead
01:44:24
how much longer does he have to go you
01:44:28
can be dead for a long time all you get
01:44:31
in this life is a little bit of -
01:44:32
between two dates
01:44:35
just a little vegans gone what are you
01:44:40
gonna do it your - let me give it
01:44:42
suggestion - you give the whole thing -
01:44:44
Jesus say Lord you may have it the whole
01:44:48
thing one time a little boy saw Jesus
01:44:51
preaching he a little sack lunch 5
01:44:54
biscuits and 2 fish sticks severe Jesus
01:44:58
you can have the whole thing Jesus -
01:45:01
thank you son everybody sit down please five thousand
01:45:04
men plus women plus children we can
01:45:06
assume probably 20 thousand people
01:45:09
Jesus started breaking those fish sticks
01:45:11
and bread up and making free sandwiches
01:45:12
and started passing on to the disciples
01:45:14
and everybody sat down in the grass and
01:45:15
they passed him out and passed him out
01:45:16
and passed him out and pass them out
01:45:17
when they got all done everybody was
01:45:19
stuff you under the fish sandwich all
01:45:20
right no I can't no man I'm stuffed he
01:45:23
said ok disciples gather up all the
01:45:25
fragments they got twelve baskets full
01:45:26
of fragments left that little boy came
01:45:29
home from the meetin mama today son how
01:45:31
do you like your lunch mom you won't
01:45:34
believe it was a good eyes good mom you
01:45:38
have any left
01:45:39
hey disciples come on in here would you
01:45:41
please see he decided to give it all to
01:45:46
Jesus now he ended up getting fed
01:45:47
himself he's one of them twenty thousand
01:45:49
think I fed you know he could have kept
01:45:51
it and got the head or I could give it
01:45:52
away and get fed work the same either
01:45:56
way if you could learn to give your life
01:45:58
away to Jesus you will get a wonderful
01:46:00
life plus it'll bless lots of others
01:46:04
some of you ought to quit worrying about
01:46:06
knocking that dumb ball into the hole in
01:46:07
the dirt and start worrying about who's
01:46:09
going to heaven or hell and you're
01:46:12
worrying about getting a fancier car and
01:46:14
a fancier house and start worried about
01:46:15
who's going to heaven or hell maybe God
01:46:18
gave you that good job so you can give
01:46:20
some money to missionaries not so you
01:46:22

do you want to know more about how to
01:55:26
combate the cutlass theory of evolution
01:55:28
creation science evangelism offers four
01:55:30
great tools that help strengthen the
01:55:32
faith of believers and win the lost to
01:55:34
Christ after 15 years of teaching high
01:55:37
school science dr. Hogan began creation
01:55:39
science evangelism in 1989 we are a
01:55:42
ministry that is dedicated to providing
01:55:44
tools which will help you combat the
01:55:46
evolution philosophy that is destroying
01:55:49
the faith of millions every year the
01:55:51
first tool creation science offers is
01:55:54
their powerful life changing video
01:55:55
series over the last 12 years well over
01:55:58
a million videotapes of dr. Hovind
01:56:00
seminar have circled the globe they are
01:56:02
reaping a harvest of souls for the
01:56:04
kingdom of Christ as well as helping
01:56:06
restore the faith of many thousands
01:56:08
confused by the evolution propaganda to
01:56:10
which they've been subjected these
01:56:12
videos are available in English Russian
01:56:14
French Spanish Japanese and sign
01:56:17
language the age of the earth first of
01:56:19
the seven part series teaches that God
01:56:21
created the universe about six thousand
01:56:24
years ago and six literal days with this
01:56:27
be true can it be scientifically proven
01:56:29
that the earth is not millions of years
01:56:31
old this tape gives solid scientific
01:56:33
evidence that the earth is young and
01:56:35
that the Bible is scientifically
01:56:37
accurate how did the environment of the
01:56:39
original creation differ from ours today
01:56:42
and how would this allow men to live
01:56:44
over 900 years and Christians have a
01:56:47
good explanation for the existence of
01:56:49
dinosaurs with some dinosaurs still be
01:56:52
alive today these and many more
01:56:55
questions are covered in the 2nd and 3rd
01:56:57
part of the series evolution has
01:56:59
permeated public school textbooks with
01:57:01
false and fraudulent information this
01:57:04
video exposes nearly 30 lies commonly
01:57:06
found in textbooks every public school
01:57:09
student teacher and school board member

difference evolutionary beliefs have
01:57:21
made in the past as well as in recent
01:57:22
history in our video number 5
01:57:25
dictators throughout time
01:57:27
their evolution based philosophies to
01:57:29
rationalize their brutal actions learn

today to prepare people for the New
