Лимфатическая система состоит из лимфоузлов, сосудов и лимфы, которые выполняют несколько важных функций: 🔹 выступают в роли барьера, задерживая вредоносные микроорганизмы и очищая лимфу; 🔹 транспортируют питательные вещества и межклеточную жидкость; 🔹 устраняют вирусы и бактерии. Лимфатические узлы — важная часть иммунной системы. Они защищают организм, пропуская через себя лимфу и задерживая вредные продукты. Когда для борьбы с инфекцией или вирусами лимфоцитов не хватает, они усиленно размножаются, чтобы ликвидировать угрозу. Из-за этого узлы увеличиваются и твердеют, а кожа над ними краснеет и становится чувствительной. Состояние, когда лимфоузлы воспаляются и увеличиваются называется лимфаденопатией. Как правило, лимфатические узлы увеличиваются из-за простудных или вирусных заболеваний, ангин, воспалений носовых пазух, кариозных зубов. В некоторых случаях их увеличение может говорить о серьезных заболеваниях: туберкулезе, ВИЧ, ОРВИ, венерических и онкологических заболеваниях. Также причиной увеличения может быть тяжелая физическая нагрузка, аллергия, применение дезодоранта, который перекрывает выход пота из организма, повышенная чувствительность к лекарственным препаратам, цирроз печени и т.д.
