The Golden Mantra Known as the Golden Mantra, or Vajra Guru Mantra, Padma Sambhava’s mantra is simply translated as “Vajra Guru, who arose from a lotus (Padma Sambhava), please grant me the ordinary and supreme accomplishments, HUM!” Gautama Buddha adjured the students to give this mantra daily. El Morya asked students to seek bonding to the heart of Jesus and recommended beginning “by letting their hearts sing the Golden Mantra as they go about their tasks—taking care to listen as the mantra echoes back to them from the secret chamber of the heart.” Lord Maitreya has urged us to let Padma Sambhava’s mantra ring in our soul and our heart: “Give the mantra of Padma Sambhava thirty-three times and celebrate your soul’s ascent each day to the secret chamber of your heart, to the altar of being. Life is empty when you do not do this. When you do not do it, you do not even know just how empty your life is. And you do not know how full it can be when and if you enter into the practice of keeping your appointment with Maitreya, with Gautama Buddha, with the bodhisattvas. Give it thirty-three times, beloved ones.” The Golden Mantra Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padme Siddhi Hum x33 You don’t have to, but when you give the Golden Mantra, you may use the following mudras for each word. Perhaps do the mudras for the first three recitations of the mantra – or as many times as you wish. Om - Crown chakra with anjali mudra Ah - Throat chakra with anjali mudra Hum – (Pronounced HUNGM) Heart chakra with anjali mudra Vajra - Earth touching mudra right hand, left hand three fingers to heart Guru - Left hand remain connected to heart, vitarka mudra right hand palm turned upward. Padma - Left and right hand connected at thumb and index fingers in vitarka mudra, forming a horizontal figure eight over solar plexus chakra.
