Hi! This recipe of Chinese pear drink (冰糖雪梨) is good for keeping cough away and rejuvenating your lungs especially we are currently in a COVID-19 situation. One thing is that once you refrigerate this drink and drink after that, it'll taste like bird's nests drink which is really nice! Or you may call it poor man's bird nest as well :) It's really healthy and taste delicious so why not give it a try? Let us know in the comments below what you think about this refreshing drink! Ingredients : 1) Snow singo pear - 2 pieces 2) Red dates - 13 3) Lily bulbs - 20g 4) Fritillaria bulbs - 4g 5) Chinese sweet almond / apricot kernel - 15g 6) Chinese bitter almond / apricot kernel - 15g 7) Honey rock sugar - 90g (Up to preference) 8) Snow fungus - 20g 9) Water - 2.5 liters 10) Goji berries - 10g 11) Dried tangerine - 1 piece Steps : 1) Snow fungus has to be soaked for at least 1 hour 2) Wash lily bulbs/ fritillaria bulbs/ Chinese sweet almond and bitter almond with hot/warm water 3) Wash red dates, goji berries and dried tangerine 4) Rinse snow fungus 5) Wash snow pear and peel off the skin. Then cut it into 8 pieces. Remove the seeds in the middle and then rinse it 6) Boil 2.5 liters of water. Add in snow fungus, red dates, lily bulbs, fritillaria bulbs, dried tangerine, Chinese sweet almond and bitter almond. 7) Simmer for 15 minutes, then add in snow pear and honey rock sugar 8) Boil it for another 15 minutes, then add in goji berries 9) Now boil it for another 10 minutes and it's ready! 10) Chill it in the fridge for 2 hours and then it's ready to be served! 11) Enjoy!
