I want to make this photo more autumn, if so, of course, you can put it, that is, add yellow tones so that the leaves are yellow and red. Add, of course, the contrast and make a wide variety of color shades. We will work with you in the color space "Lab", because there it is all very convenient to do. So, let's begin. We translate the image into the color space "Lab" - "Image", "Mode", "Lab". Nothing happens with the picture. Duplicate the background layer "Ctrl-J" and go to the "Channels" palette. First of all, let's look at the contrast. Our picture does not look good, it clearly lacks contrast. To work in "Lab" with contrast and brightness is very simple. There are several ways: using curves, with the help of filters, in this lesson I will do this using the command "External channel". Let's make the "Brightness" channel active with you. On this channel we have only the brightness component of our picture. The colors are completely missing. To see what's happening, I'll turn on the glaze at the "Lab" channel so that we can see a full-color picture - a color picture. Let's turn to "Image", "External channel", open the list of channels and select "Brightness". That is, we will impose the channel "Brightness" on "Brightness", but in a certain mode. You can see how the picture will look in the "Multiplication" mode - rather dark, "Soft light" and "Overlap". Let's see what we had - such a picture was completely uncontrastable for us, this is the image we got with you. I will focus on the Overlap mode. Click OK. I make the "Lab" channel active and go to the "Layers" palette. Now, I will make some adjusting layers and, on each of these layers I will do my adjustment or photo correction. In principle, you can do one layer, but these several layers give us some flexibility when adjusting the image. So, let's add the first adjustment layer "Curves" and on this layer we will make a more autumn photo. I'll go to channel "A" and just invert the curve. I will raise the black point upwards, white I will lower downwards. Let's see - there was such a picture, that's the picture we got with you. Here you can already see, more obvious, this late autumn. Add the following adjustment layer "Curves" and on this layer we will work with colors - red and green. Channel "A" answers for these colors. Go to channel "A" and simply move the black and white point closer to the center. Put minus 64, and put a white point plus 64. It is not necessary to put just such values, you can put others. It all depends on your photo. The main thing is to make sure that the value in the "Login" field is the same. That is, so that our curve passes through the center.
