how Jack Marino came out of the new age

the occult and ultimately to Jesus

Christ I'm Jack I was sexually abused as

00:00:43

a child and unrelatedly my dad was

00:00:45

addicted to drugs and alcohol I turned

00:00:47

to self harm Eating Disorders drug and

00:00:50

alcohol addiction and Supernatural

00:00:51

experiences to stuff down the memories

00:00:53

and Escape my pain I found the Law of

00:00:56

Attraction and that really gave me a

00:00:58

feeling of power over my life thinking

00:01:00

that I could control my own destiny I

00:01:02

ended up in abusive relationships where

00:01:04

I believed my twin flame taught me new

00:01:07

age beliefs I thought I was ascending I

00:01:10

started finding spirituality to be my

00:01:12

new high my new escape and I ended up in

00:01:15

the oul where I believed I was being led

00:01:17

by The Entity th to aler CI I began

00:01:20

practicing ritual magic and Alchemy and

00:01:22

I eventually ended up being initiated

00:01:24

into an order called the Hermetic Order

of the Golden Dawn where I practiced

ritual magic in a Freemason Lodge and it

was there that Jesus Christ met me

delivered me saved me and gave me the

peace I'd been looking for my entire

life I am now a new creation behold the

old has passed away the new has come and

I desire to testify of who Jesus Christ

truly is and the Glorious gospel that

set me free from sin and death and has

given me everlasting

well I am excited I've gotten a little

bit of your testimony not only in the

shorter version but seen some longer

versions as well and I really think that

people here would benefit so much from

your testimony so you know but without

getting any you know too many questions

or getting too deep into it I just want

to hear a little bit of the background

because we've already heard a minute

version of your testimony but now it' be

great to go into the background and

really just share you know how Jesus

saved you out of the new

00:02:49

age well thank you so much again for

having me on and allowing me to share

00:02:52

what God has done in my life through

00:02:54

Christ um I thought that I was a

00:02:57

Christian growing up I went to a

00:03:00

Christian preschool my family said that

00:03:02

they were Christians and I genuinely

00:03:04

thought that I was just born into a

00:03:06

family of Christians that everyone in my

00:03:09

family and the generations before was a

00:03:11

Christian almost like how we're

00:03:13

Americans so even though I went to this

00:03:16

preschool I really didn't have an

00:03:19

understanding of the Gospel I don't

00:03:20

remember ever hearing it then again I

00:03:21

was very small but it wasn't really

00:03:24

lived out as far as I saw so although I

00:03:27

thought I was a Christian said I was a

00:03:28

Christian I was not truly born again and

00:03:31

I didn't have a good understanding of

00:03:33

who Jesus is he was just someone who I

00:03:36

would imagine when I was afraid um and

00:03:39

that was pretty much it and when I was

00:03:43

very young um I was sexually abused and

00:03:47

that left me very confused um a lot of

00:03:50

pain a lot of hurt and a lot of shame

00:03:53

because I saw it as something that I was

00:03:56

choosing to do at a certain point

00:03:59

especially when the memory started

00:04:00

becoming clear and I just was a very

00:04:02

confused child also when I was five my

00:04:05

mom separated from my dad because he had

00:04:08

drug and alcohol abuse problems and that

00:04:10

was really hard for me because in my

00:04:13

mind my relationship with my dad was

00:04:15

healthy um the sexual abuse was not

00:04:17

related to that situation and so I loved

00:04:20

my dad and he told me that if he didn't

00:04:24

get sober that I was his reason for

00:04:26

living and so if he lost me that he

00:04:28

would die and at a young age I really

00:04:31

took that on as my identity that I need

00:04:33

to make sure that my dad stays sober I

00:04:35

need to make sure that nothing happens

00:04:37

to him because I'm the reason why he's

00:04:40

living and there was a lot of pain

00:04:43

involved with that but a lot of

00:04:44

isolation with this ongoing sexual abuse

00:04:46

that was happening I really felt the

00:04:49

reality of how when you tell a lie then

00:04:52

you have to tell more lies to cover up

00:04:53

that lie and then more lies and at a

00:04:56

certain point really early on I didn't

00:04:58

even know who I was anymore because of

00:05:01

the isolation in this secret abuse and

00:05:05

also the ways that I had started just to

00:05:07

be confused sexually honestly and the

00:05:09

ways that that impacted me was very

00:05:12

shameful and around uh the age of seven

00:05:16

I had an experience where I saw lights

00:05:18

in the sky I say lights in the sky but

00:05:21

it wasn't just lights it was these

00:05:23

personal familiar

00:05:25

powerful persons was the only way I

00:05:28

could explain it that I thought were the

00:05:31

angels of my dad's friends who had been

00:05:34

I'd been very close to that he'd met in

00:05:36

rehab and they had passed away from

00:05:38

either an overdose or symptoms from drug

00:05:42

and alcohol abuse and that was the only

00:05:45

real context I had for this experience

00:05:47

but it was the most powerful experience

00:05:50

I could remember having and meeting me

00:05:52

in my isolation what I what I received

00:05:55

from them was that these beings loved me

00:05:58

I was special and they saw me and they

00:06:00

knew all that had happened to me and

00:06:02

they saw me and they accepted me and so

00:06:05

that made me feel special that made me

00:06:07

want to have more of these experiences

00:06:09

and even at that young age the small

00:06:11

amount of the Christian um worldview I

00:06:14

guess that I had I started to give away

00:06:17

to try to have an understanding of

00:06:20

reality that could fit in these

00:06:22

experiences and I then soon after found

00:06:25

out about UFOs and aliens and that

00:06:27

seemed to fit more into what I had

00:06:29

experienced and so I kind of became

00:06:32

fascinated with these

00:06:35

entities and also in this around this

00:06:38

age um I don't share this as often but I

00:06:41

had an experience where I thought it was

00:06:44

the devil I don't believe it was the

00:06:45

devil now but a demonic experience where

00:06:47

I saw a being and I believe that this

00:06:50

being was calling me down this dark path

00:06:53

basically saying uh you know come come

00:06:55

this way almost like to continue in the

00:06:58

dark way that I was living acting out

00:07:00

sexually just lying hiding all these

00:07:03

things and I knew it was wrong but I

00:07:06

thought you know what I'm just I want to

00:07:08

do what I want to do I loved my sin

00:07:10

which sounds weird to say but at a young

00:07:11

age there was a point at in which I do

00:07:14

believe that um my acting out in the way

00:07:17

that I was living at a certain age I it

00:07:19

was sin um and I decided I'm going to go

00:07:23

down this path and follow this being and

00:07:25

and one day uh when I'm strong enough or

00:07:27

when I feel like it I'll go back to

00:07:28

doing what I know is right but for now

00:07:30

I'm going to follow this being um and so

00:07:33

I kind of continued down that path just

00:07:37

was a very unhappy kid I remember

00:07:40

getting a call from um from a parent

00:07:43

around the age of seven and my abuser

00:07:45

had been caught abusing a child and I

00:07:49

was terrified that I was going to be

00:07:50

found out that everything was going to

00:07:53

be exposed and so I just decided if I if

00:07:55

I say that nothing ever happened and I

00:07:57

believe it then I can re write my

00:08:00

reality and I can make I can if I

00:08:03

believe the lie then it never happened I

00:08:04

was so afraid and it breaks my heart

00:08:07

because if I had known the true Jesus if

00:08:10

I had known the true gospel and known

00:08:12

that there is forgiveness that there is

00:08:14

that who this God is who loves who loves

00:08:17

me so much that he would send his son to

00:08:19

die for me just the true gospel of

00:08:22

Christ but I didn't and so my only

00:08:25

answer was not to run to this God who

00:08:28

who loves me and who cares for me and

00:08:30

who is over and above all things but to

00:08:32

run to try to grasp in my own power and

00:08:35

create a reality and and rewrite my

00:08:37

story and so I stuck to that lie and I

00:08:40

just denied denied denied that anything

00:08:41

had ever happened and continued living

00:08:44

my life and that there was a lot of pain

00:08:47

I started to self harm at a young age

00:08:51

and developed an eating disorder I was

00:08:53

bulimic and uh when I did eat I would

00:08:56

eat very

00:08:57

little and a lot of pain and a lot of

00:09:01

Shame and in high school I ended up

00:09:04

starting to drink and try drugs because

00:09:07

I said I would never do it because I saw

00:09:10

it firsthand it destroy my Dad's life

00:09:12

who I loved dearly he was continuously

00:09:14

in a cycle of um using and then overdose

00:09:19

and then the hospital and then rehab and

00:09:21

then way back home and then sober for a

00:09:23

short amount of time and then back so I

00:09:26

knew I didn't want to be like that but I

00:09:28

found my ident in people and in

00:09:30

friendships and I started losing

00:09:32

friendships because I wasn't drinking

00:09:34

and doing drugs and I just decided again

00:09:36

I'll go back to doing you know the right

00:09:39

thing later but for now it's not worth

00:09:41

it to me to lose my friends so I started

00:09:44

first trying pills and marijuana and

00:09:47

then

00:09:48

eventually alcohol and for the first

00:09:51

time when I drank I actually escape

00:09:54

myself for the first time all these

00:09:56

other things all Supernatural

00:09:57

experiences we I had made my own we

00:09:59

boards just searching hunting for a

00:10:02

supernatural experience but for the

00:10:03

first time with alcohol I was drunk and

00:10:06

I was numb and I did forget what had

00:10:08

happened and I knew I'd made a mistake

00:10:10

because I knew I never wanted to feel

00:10:12

anyway but that way for the rest of my

00:10:14

life and so that became my new Idol

00:10:17

everything that I did it wasn't if I was

00:10:19

going to drink or get drugs it was how

00:10:21

and when that was my purpose and that

00:10:24

went on also in high school I also found

00:10:26

the book The Secret by Rhonda burn which

00:10:29

teach tees the law of attraction I later

00:10:31

at at towards the end of my story saw

00:10:34

that on the first page of the secret it

00:10:37

says As Above So Below and it it quotes

00:10:39

The Emerald Tablets of th which ties in

00:10:41

to later I didn't know that that was

00:10:42

tied to what I would eventually be led

00:10:44

to but it was amazing to see that and

00:10:47

obviously the law of attraction was

00:10:49

extremely alluring to me because the

00:10:51

idea that I can create my own reality

00:10:53

that I don't have to leave my sin

00:10:55

because in high school I genuinely

00:10:58

people were so God really was so kind to

00:11:01

send people who would invite me to aana

00:11:04

when I was younger or who would call me

00:11:06

out you say you're a Christian you're

00:11:08

living this way and I would this whole

00:11:10

time think I was a Christian and think

00:11:11

that they were so judgmental because I

00:11:14

said I was a Christian who are you to

00:11:16

judge me I can do what I want I really

00:11:18

didn't understand that Christ Jesus came

00:11:21

to die for Sinners and that I was truly

00:11:24

a sinner that I had Sinn and rebelled

00:11:25

against a holy righteous God who must

00:11:28

judge who must judge sin and who must

00:11:30

judge rebellion and that I was rebelling

00:11:32

against him I had no concept of that I

00:11:35

just thought because I had the stamp of

00:11:37

Christian or I said I was a Christian

00:11:39

that that there was Grace and that there

00:11:40

was forgiveness and I could live how I

00:11:42

wanted although again I had no idea who

00:11:44

Jesus was my Jesus was not at all the

00:11:47

Jesus of the Bible and so I continued in

00:11:50

this got really into also the Law of

00:11:53

Attraction gave a space for me to put in

00:11:57

my Supernatural experiences

00:11:59

obviously from you can tell from what

00:12:01

I'm saying I put Supernatural

00:12:03

experiences or experiences in general

00:12:04

way higher than the Bible of which I

00:12:06

knew very little and I really grasped on

00:12:10

to the idea that my thoughts create my

00:12:12

things I'm the master of my own destiny

00:12:15

I in a sense am God or at the very least

00:12:18

a co-creator with God and therefore I

00:12:20

can literally rewrite my story and that

00:12:23

even brought in this is kind of a side

00:12:25

note but that even brought in what I'd

00:12:27

been taught in Disney the idea that you

00:12:29

can IMA imagine your reality the um

00:12:34

almost glorifying of imagination and and

00:12:37

that ties in later to Ritual magic but

00:12:40

so getting really into this I also got

00:12:43

into abusive

00:12:44

relationships my first relationship was

00:12:47

physically abusive there were very high

00:12:49

highs very violent lows I didn't know

00:12:51

what love is I was just an addicted

00:12:53

person um looking for escape I didn't

00:12:57

even really think about the next day I

00:12:58

was so focused on escaping my pain in

00:13:01

today and he was a Native American and

00:13:03

started to teach me Native American

00:13:06

spirituality things like elements in the

00:13:08

earth and we'd stay up all night talking

00:13:09

about aliens and so giving away more and

00:13:12

more of the small amount that I knew

00:13:14

about Christ the true Christ and then

00:13:17

that relationship ended and I was

00:13:21

absolutely had no idea who I was I had

00:13:24

made this person my reason for living

00:13:28

and

00:13:29

I didn't know who I was especially

00:13:32

coming from a whole life of escaping

00:13:34

myself running from myself trying to

00:13:36

stuff down this pain I truly had no idea

00:13:40

who I was and this was in college when

00:13:42

we broke up it was very violent and I

00:13:45

just felt like a vacuum went into even

00:13:48

more drugs I tried meth and heroin and

00:13:51

it it really didn't even seem like a big

00:13:53

deal at that time when I tell you that I

00:13:55

was empty and trying to escape myself

00:13:57

they just sound like words but the

00:13:58

reality of how broken and lost I was is

00:14:04

hard to

00:14:05

remember um so after we broke up got

00:14:08

getting really into that I I spent

00:14:10

pretty much the whole summer in Las

00:14:12

Vegas just partying and going to Braves

00:14:15

and I was just trying to find a way of

00:14:19

escape and I ended up meeting a guy who

00:14:21

was a drug dealer and the moment that I

00:14:24

saw first saw him I felt that same

00:14:27

Supernatural familiar

00:14:29

feeling that I would get when I when I

00:14:32

saw these entities or these familiar

00:14:35

spirits and I felt so drawn to him

00:14:38

immediately moved in with him he enabled

00:14:41

me in the sense that he was a drug

00:14:43

dealer and provided for my addictions he

00:14:47

also the first dat we met took me out he

00:14:50

started talking about aliens and all

00:14:51

these things and I didn't know it at the

00:14:53

time but he was a new Ager and he

00:14:55

started teaching me new age beliefs and

00:14:58

this man really quickly although at

00:15:01

first I didn't have romantic feelings

00:15:04

for him it was platonic I ended up he

00:15:08

encouraged me to quit my job and I

00:15:09

became very dependent on him until when

00:15:12

I did finally give myself to him he

00:15:15

totally turned became very mean treated

00:15:19

me like trash but I was totally

00:15:22

dependent I truly saw this man as my

00:15:25

teacher as my guide and he taught me

00:15:28

that we had lived hundreds of lives that

00:15:31

we were the same soul in a sense and

00:15:34

that in some lives we chose to have

00:15:36

different quests but we were always one

00:15:39

and I really believed this I also

00:15:41

started getting into psychedelic drugs

00:15:43

with him he was a DJ at clubs in Los

00:15:47

Angeles and that turned into burning man

00:15:51

type festivals so I started really

00:15:54

getting into the new age scene into

00:15:56

crystals into astrology and into using

00:15:59

psychedelics now to have those

00:16:01

Supernatural experiences wanting beings

00:16:04

to enter my body not seeing that as

00:16:07

possession but seeing that as just The

00:16:09

Logical next step to more Supernatural

00:16:11

experiences and really getting deep into

00:16:14

this stuff that relationship went on for

00:16:17

years and it was the the word that I

00:16:21

have for it is dark it was just there

00:16:23

was sorcery and um it the way that my

00:16:27

mind was messed with this relationship

00:16:30

had the biggest impact on me and it was

00:16:35

extremely spiritually in emotionally

00:16:37

manipulative when it ended um right

00:16:40

before it ended actually I remember

00:16:42

looking in the mirror and I met my eyes

00:16:45

with my eyes and my blood just ran cold

00:16:47

like that feeling of fear because I

00:16:49

didn't recognize whatever was behind my

00:16:52

eyes

00:16:53

and I was I was turning into something

00:16:57

that I didn't recognize or something was

00:16:59

in me that I didn't recognize when this

00:17:02

relationship ended it ended in a very

00:17:04

confusing way and I when I say I was

00:17:09

broken I I was so broken I believed that

00:17:15

what he had taught me I believed that he

00:17:16

could always see me I believed that if I

00:17:19

died then we would be reunited I I had

00:17:23

no sense of reality at this point from

00:17:25

the drugs that I was continually do

00:17:27

continuously doing from

00:17:29

the belief systems every number that I

00:17:31

saw was a signed from the universe every

00:17:34

sound if I heard a helicopter if I heard

00:17:36

a siren I was not at all in reality I

00:17:40

had a hard time even having

00:17:42

conversations with people because I was

00:17:44

so out of it everywhere I looked it was

00:17:46

like I was haunted by this man it was

00:17:49

very confusing he told me he was coming

00:17:51

back for me and my whole life still it

00:17:53

was almost as though I was in a

00:17:54

relationship with this ghost um in in

00:17:58

the the world's terms obviously I don't

00:18:00

believe in ghosts but so that left me in

00:18:04

a at this point I was in a studio

00:18:06

apartment in Hollywood alone I spent so

00:18:09

many nights just on the hardwood floor

00:18:11

crying I was mad at God for taking away

00:18:13

this

00:18:14

relationship in this relationship there

00:18:16

were so many times that I told God I

00:18:18

didn't want his plan I wanted to be with

00:18:21

this person and I I had a lot of very

00:18:23

evil very dark Supernatural

00:18:27

experiences and as I was in this

00:18:29

apartment I kind of snapped when I went

00:18:31

to these new age festivals there was a

00:18:35

lot of pagan sexual immorality and there

00:18:39

was a a point that by God's grace I felt

00:18:43

restrained in that I I couldn't bring

00:18:45

myself to do it but I thought that that

00:18:47

was my fault in the sense of there's

00:18:51

something wrong with me because my

00:18:53

Christian dogma is holding me back from

00:18:55

being a free spirit I I truly thought

00:18:58

that and it it made me angry but by

00:19:01

God's grace there was there was that

00:19:03

restraint in some areas but I wanted

00:19:06

that to go away by the time we broke up

00:19:09

I was again in the studio apartment my

00:19:11

dad was homeless at this time I I just

00:19:15

had no control over my reality and I

00:19:17

thought that I was being held back so I

00:19:19

just thought you know what this isn't

00:19:20

working I'm going to go all in the new

00:19:23

age and these festivals they play around

00:19:25

with these things but I want to get to

00:19:27

the root of them I want to get to the

00:19:29

core of them I want the power to to

00:19:32

control my reality because this clearly

00:19:33

isn't

00:19:34

working and so I really snapped in a

00:19:38

sense and I got basically spent all my

00:19:42

time being led by this entity that I

00:19:46

believed was th the ancient Egyptian

00:19:48

deity Dudi or Tudi and things would glow

00:19:52

I would walk somewhere and I remember I

00:19:54

walked into the store and these tarot

00:19:56

cards were just glowing and I walked up

00:19:59

to them and they were the th tarot card

00:20:01

deck by aler Cowley and I bought them

00:20:04

and I just started obsessively going

00:20:06

over them meditating or or trying to

00:20:09

take in the images into my psyche

00:20:11

dreaming about them astral projecting

00:20:12

lucid dreaming just trying to take in

00:20:15

these things I was reading material by

00:20:17

the three initiates I was getting into

00:20:19

Freemason Doctrine listening to a lot of

00:20:21

Israel regardi um just wanting to to get

00:20:27

to the root of where this power was

00:20:28

coming from reading a few materials from

00:20:30

Alistar crley although I would I would

00:20:32

have physical reactions as I was reading

00:20:34

the more dark I guess it's all dark in a

00:20:37

sense but especially Alistar Crowley or

00:20:39

witchcraft books that showed me there

00:20:41

was power I won't get too much into that

00:20:44

but um but it it scared me I had a

00:20:47

feeling that that Satan or the devil or

00:20:50

evil was behind it but I refused to

00:20:52

believe that because I had the

00:20:54

subjective idea that everything is

00:20:56

subjective and so

00:20:59

to make that shorter I I ended up um

00:21:02

being led to this order called the

00:21:04

Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and I

00:21:07

kept feeling I was being led to it like

00:21:09

it was the next thing after all this

00:21:11

study it was just the next step but I

00:21:13

kept being afraid to go through this

00:21:15

door I'd say it like I would walk up to

00:21:16

a door and and I would want to enter it

00:21:19

but I I would get scared and turn around

00:21:21

but I'd always be led back to this door

00:21:22

so finally I ended up meeting with a guy

00:21:26

at a coffee shop um um and everything

00:21:29

that he was talking to me about was

00:21:33

exactly what these entities had been

00:21:35

leading me to during that time also I

00:21:37

had an alien abduction experience I was

00:21:39

having a lot of alien experiences which

00:21:41

continued into this order and I was I

00:21:45

was just confused but I'd been having

00:21:48

these experiences especially with aliens

00:21:51

specifically since I was a child and so

00:21:53

I thought they were my friends I thought

00:21:55

they love me I thought they were leading

00:21:56

me I thought they cared for me

00:21:59

and everything that this guy was talking

00:22:01

about or so much of it from astrology to

00:22:03

Egyptian mythology to cabala was exactly

00:22:06

what these entities had been leading me

00:22:08

to and so I was

00:22:10

excited um he basically told me about

00:22:13

the great work and that in a sense I'd

00:22:15

been called to this and so I met him

00:22:19

later at a Freemason Lodge to be

00:22:22

initiated into this order and it was the

00:22:25

whole I had to go out and buy my red

00:22:27

socks and um I was in a black robe with

00:22:30

a hood or I was Hoodwinked really and it

00:22:35

was a whole thing but yeah it if you

00:22:40

would have air dropped me in there it

00:22:41

would have seemed unbelievably dark

00:22:43

because it was but from my whole life

00:22:46

all these experiences leading up to that

00:22:48

point it just seemed like the next thing

00:22:49

and I was extremely excited but the

00:22:52

ritual and the way that it was done was

00:22:55

very um powerful in a sense very scary I

00:22:58

had a sword to my neck at one point

00:23:00

making an oath that I would never share

00:23:01
