who sent down the Book to His servant and made no00:00:18
crookedness in it, to00:00:21
warn of a00:00:25
severe punishment from coming, and to give good tidings to the believers. He gives good tidings to the00:00:31
believers who do righteous deeds, that00:00:40
they will have a00:00:42
good reward, to abide therein00:00:46
forever, and00:00:48
to warn those who said, “God has taken a00:00:53
son,” of which they have no knowledge or knowledge.00:00:58
For fathers, a00:01:03
word that comes out of00:01:08
their mouths is too great for them to say anything but a lie. Perhaps you00:01:16
will kill yourself in their00:01:23
tracks if they do not believe in this hadith with regret. [00:01:30

We have made what is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them as to which of them is best in deed. And We will surely make what is upon it a barren plain.00:01:53
Or do you think that the Companions of the Cave and the Ar-Raqim are among00:02:00
Our signs? Wow, when they brought the boys to the cave, they said, “Our00:02:09
Lord, give us mercy from00:02:13
You. Our00:02:18
Lord, give us mercy from You, and provide us with00:02:26
guidance in our affairs.” So We struck at their ears in the00:02:32
cave for a00:02:35
number of years, then We sent them to know which of the two parties was counted. How long did they remain?00:02:46
We are telling you, telling them of the truth. They are young men who believed in their Lord. Indeed, they were young men who00:02:58
believed. to their Lord, and We have increased guidance for them, and00:03:05
We have strengthened their00:03:10
hearts when they rose up and00:03:13
said, “Our Lord, Lord of the heavens and the earth, we will never call upon any00:04:00
god other than Him.” We have said, “If these people have erred, they have taken other than Him as their god. Why should they not come upon them with clear authority? So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against God?”00:04:07
The Cave: Your Lord spreads for you of His mercy00:04:15
and prepares for you from00:04:18
your affairs00:04:20
in ease, and you see the sun, when it rises, turning away from their cave on the00:04:27
right;00:04:56
He has a guardian00:05:00
[music] a guide,00:05:05
and you think they are awake while00:05:07
they are asleep. And00:05:11
we turn them to the right and to the left, and00:05:17
their dog00:05:18
spreads out his arms00:05:22
in the wild. If you had looked at them, you would have fled from them, and00:05:29
you would have been filled with terror from them. And thus We sent them to00:05:38
inquire00:05:40
among themselves. Someone among00:05:45
them said, “How long00:05:48
have you stayed?” They said, “We have stayed a day or part of a00:05:54
day.” They said, “Your00:05:58
Lord knows best how long you have tarried.” So they00:06:04
sent one of you. With this paper of yours00:06:10
to00:06:12
the city,00:06:14
let him see which of you has the00:06:21
purest food. Let him bring sustenance from it, and let him be kind. Let00:06:26
no00:06:32
one feel that if they00:06:36
appear upon you, they will00:06:42
stone you, or00:06:44
return you to00:06:47
their religion, or00:06:49
return you to their religion, and you will not00:06:55
succeed if we begin. Thus We have found them so that00:07:04
they may know that the promise of God is true, and that the Hour is beyond doubt,00:07:12
as they00:07:14
dispute00:07:18
among themselves their matter. They said, "Build a structure00:07:22
over them. Their00:07:28
Lord knows best about them." Those who prevailed00:07:35
in their affairs said, "00:07:39
We will certainly make a00:07:43
mosque over them."00:07:44
They will say, "Three, the fourth of whom is their dog,"00:07:49
and they will say, "00:07:51
Five. The sixth of them is their dog." And they say, "00:08:01
Seven of them, and the eighth of them is their dog." Say, "My00:08:05
Lord knows best of their number.00:08:12
Only a00:08:15
few know them. So do not dispute over00:08:20
them except00:08:26
openly disputing matters, and do not question any00:08:33
of them, and do00:08:35
not00:08:37
say anything."00:08:39
For the reason that I00:08:42
will do that00:08:44
tomorrow00:08:47
unless00:08:53
God wills. And remember your Lord if you00:08:58
forget, and00:08:59
say, “00:09:03
Perhaps my Lord will guide me to a path closer to this in righteousness.” And00:09:10
they remained in their cave for00:09:14
00 years, and they added nine. Say, “God knows best what they00:09:22
tarried for. The unseen of the heavens and the earth see through it00:09:28
and hear. They have no00:09:29
guardian other than Him, and He does not associate anything with Him.”00:09:38
And recite00:09:44
what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. There is no one to change00:09:51
His words, and you will not find anyone who unites besides Him. And00:09:56
be patient with yourself as those who call upon their00:10:02
Lord morning and evening, seeking His face. And do not turn00:10:09
your eyes away from them, desiring the adornments of this00:10:14
world’s life. And do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance,00:10:21
and he follows his desires, and his affair is excessive. And speak the truth from Your00:10:28
Lord,00:10:30
whoever00:10:33
wills, let00:10:35
him believe, and whoever he00:10:39
wills, let00:10:41
him disbelieve. We have00:10:45
prepared for the wrongdoers00:10:48
a fire whose00:10:53
curtains will surround them, and if they call00:10:55
for help, they will be provided with relief, since it is00:11:00
like clay that roasts00:11:04
the faces.00:11:08
[Music] And it has become an evil companion.00:11:12
Indeed,00:11:14
those who have believed and done00:11:18
righteous deeds, We will not waste the reward of those who do good00:11:24
deeds. Those will have00:11:27
Gardens of Eden, beneath whom00:11:37
rivers flow. Beneath them are rivers, in which they will be adorned00:11:45
with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green clothes,00:11:52
and they will wear green clothes of brocade silk,00:12:01
reclining therein on00:12:06
your seat. What a good reward and a good facility. And give00:12:11
them an example of two men: We made for00:12:17
one of them two gardens of grapes, and surrounded them with00:12:24
palm trees, and placed between them crops. The two gardens yielded their fruit, and00:12:31
nothing was wronged by it, and00:12:39
We caused dawn through them. And he00:13:01
entered his garden while he was unjust to himself. He said, “I do00:13:10
not think that00:13:16
this will00:13:18
ever perish, and I do00:13:21
not think that the Hour00:13:27
will ever come. And if I were returned to my Lord, I would surely00:13:32
find better than the two of them.” He turned back and his00:13:37
friend said to him while he was00:13:44
debating with him. “Have you disbelieved in the One who created you from00:13:50
Dust, you have disbelieved in the One who created you00:13:55
from00:13:56
dust, then from00:14:00
his sperm, then made you a00:14:04
man,00:14:06
but He is God, my Lord, and I00:14:11
do not associate anyone with my Lord. And had it not been that when00:14:18
I entered00:14:21
your Paradise, you said, “What00:14:26
God wills,” there is no power except in00:14:31
God. If you see, “00:14:35
I am less wealthy and less progeny than you,”00:14:41
then perhaps my Lord will give me better than00:14:49
your Paradise and send upon it a00:14:53
reckoning of Then00:14:56
the sky becomes a00:14:59
slippery valley, or00:15:06
its water becomes deep, so you will not be able to seek him. And he was surrounded by his fruits, so he00:15:14
began to turn his palms over00:15:20
what was spent in it, and it was empty of its00:15:26
thrones, and he said, “Oh, I wish I were a polytheist to my Lord, anyone, and he had00:15:33
no party to00:15:37
help him other than God, and he was not00:15:44
victorious. There, guardianship belongs to God, the truth, that is the best00:15:52
reward.” And give them a good reward, and present for them an example of the life of00:15:59
this world,00:16:01
just as00:16:03
We sent it down from00:16:07
the sky, and the plants of the earth were mixed with it, and00:16:13
the plants of the earth were mixed with it, and it became brittle plants that00:16:20
the winds dispersed. And God is powerful over all00:16:26
things.00:16:29
Wealth and children are adornments. The life of00:16:34
this world and the00:16:36
lasting00:16:37
good deeds are better with your Lord in00:16:42
reward and better for ants. And on the Day when00:16:45
We will move the mountains and you will see the earth00:16:51
standing out, and00:16:54
We will gather them together.00:16:55
We gathered them together, but did not leave00:16:59

any of them, and they presented themselves before your Lord in rows. You have come to us just as00:17:13
we created you the first00:17:15
time. Rather,00:17:20
you claimed that we will not make a date for you. And the book was drawn up, and the00:17:30
book was drawn up, so you see the criminals00:17:35
fearful of what is00:17:40
in it, and00:17:42
they say, “Oh00:17:44
woe to us,”00:17:46
and they say, “O woe to us. What is this book? It00:17:52
leaves out neither00:17:54
small nor large without00:18:02
enumerating them.” And they found what they did00:18:06
present, and your Lord does not wrong00:18:10
anyone. And when We said to00:18:15
the angels, “Prostrate to Adam,” so00:18:20
they prostrated00:18:22

Except00:18:27
Iblis,00:18:30
except Iblis. He was one of the jinn, so he disobeyed the command of his Lord. So00:18:38
take him and his00:18:46
descendants as guardians besides me, and they are to you a00:18:51
miserable enemy00:18:53
to the wrongdoers instead of00:18:57
what00:19:00
I made them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor to the creation of00:19:06
themselves, and I would not have taken it. And the day when00:19:14
He will say, "Call upon00:19:18
my partners whom you claimed," and they called them, but they did not00:19:24
respond to them. And We made them a burning place among them. And the00:19:30
criminals saw the00:19:33
Fire00:19:36
[Music] and thought they had00:19:42
set upon it.00:19:45
[Music] So they00:19:47
thought00:19:49
they had00:19:51
set upon it and found no escape from it.00:19:56
And indeed, in this Qur'an, We have removed for the people00:20:03
every example, but00:20:06
man is the most00:20:11
contentious thing. And what Prevent people from00:20:18
believing when00:20:22
guidance has come to them and00:20:25
seeking forgiveness from their00:20:27
Lord and seeking forgiveness from their00:20:32
Lord00:20:35
unless the tradition of the first two comes to them or the torment comes to them00:20:44
before. And We do not send messengers except as bring good tidings and as00:20:53
warnings. And those who disbelieve will argue with falsehood in00:20:58
order to refute with it the truth.00:21:02

And they took My signs,00:21:08
and they were not00:21:10
warned in00:21:11
mockery. And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the signs of his Lord? So he turned away00:21:19
from it and forgot what00:21:24
his hands had put forward. Indeed, We have placed a cover over00:21:31
their hearts lest they should understand. It is a deafness00:21:38
in their ears, and00:21:43
if00:21:46
you call them to guidance, they will not be00:21:52
guided if00:21:54
we begin. And your Lord is the Forgiving, Possessor of Mercy. If He were to take them to account for00:22:00
what they have earned,00:22:06
the punishment would certainly hastened for them. Nay, for them is a promise without which they will not find a00:22:14
home. And those00:22:18
towns00:22:19
We destroyed when they wronged. And We made a00:22:26
set time for their destroyer, and when Musa said to his girl, “00:22:32
I will not leave until I reach the gathering of the two seas, or I have passed a00:22:39
period.” When they reached the00:22:41
gathering between them, they forgot their whale, and it took00:22:49
its way in the sea00:22:51
in a swarm.00:22:53
When they had passed it, he said to his girl, “00:22:56
No,00:23:01
our food. We have met a loss from this journey of ours.” He said, “What about00:23:09
when00:23:12
we took shelter on the rock? I00:23:15
forgot the00:23:19
whale and did not00:23:26
forget it.” Except Satan, if I mention him, he took his way00:23:32
in the sea. It is strange. He said, “That is what we intended.” So he returned in their tracks, and they found00:23:45
one of our00:23:53
servants to whom We had given00:23:56
mercy from00:23:58
Us and to whom We00:24:00
had taught knowledge from Us.00:24:03
Moses said to him, “Shall I follow you00:24:10
on the condition that you teach me of what you have learned of00:24:15
sound judgment?” He said, “You will not be able to be patient with me, and how can00:24:23
you be patient with me?” He said, “00:24:39
If you follow me, do not00:24:47
ask me about00:24:50

until I mention it to you.” So he00:24:59

for what I have forgotten, and do not burden me with difficulty in my affairs.” So they00:25:36

who has purified himself without another. I have brought00:25:56
something. Thank you.” He said, “Did I not tell you that you would not be able to be00:26:05
patient with me?” He said, “If I ask you about00:26:11

accompany me. You have conveyed something from00:26:18

He said, “If you wanted, you could have taken a reward for it.”00:27:08
He said, “This is a separation between me00:27:12
and you. I will inform you of00:27:15
the interpretation of what you could not be00:27:20
patient with.” As for the ship, it was for00:27:25
poor people working on the sea, so it returned. If it was defective,00:27:30
there was a00:27:34
king behind them, and there was a00:27:41
king behind them who seized every ship by force. As for00:27:48
the boy, his parents were believers, so00:27:56
we feared that he would00:27:59
oppress them with00:28:01
transgression00:28:03
and disbelief, so00:28:06
we wanted their00:28:08
Lord to replace them with something better than him, in00:28:13
zakat, and closer to00:28:16
compassion. As for00:28:18
the wall, it belonged to00:28:21
two orphan boys in the city, and under it was a box00:28:28
for them, and their father was righteous, so your Lord wanted them to00:28:38
attain maturity. So your00:28:40
Lord wanted them to00:28:46
reach their maturity00:28:49
and extract00:28:51
their treasure.00:28:53
Mercy from your00:28:55
Lord, and what you did00:28:58
about my matter. That is the interpretation of what you did not show00:29:04
patience for. And00:29:05
they ask you about Dhul-00:29:09
Qarnayn. Say, “I will recite to00:29:13
you00:29:15
a remembrance of him.00:29:16
We00:29:18
established him in the earth00:29:21
and gave him everything that00:29:25
cursed, so he00:29:28
followed a path00:29:32
until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting.” In a spring of00:29:39
swollen water, and there he found a00:29:43
people. We said, O Dhul-Qarnayn,00:29:50
either you will be punished00:29:56
or you will treat them00:30:01
well. He said, “As for whoever does wrong, We will punish him, then he will be returned00:30:09
to his Lord and He will punish him with a terrible punishment. And as for whoever believes00:30:14
and does00:30:19
good deeds, he will have the00:30:24
reward00:30:25
of goodness, and We say to him, ‘From Our command is ease.’ Then follow a00:30:33
path00:30:37
until, when He reached the rising of the sun and found it rising over a00:30:43
people for whom we had not given a00:30:48
cover other than it. Likewise, we had given him information about what he had. Then he followed00:30:57
Saba00:31:00
until when he reached between the two dams, he found below them00:31:07
a people who could hardly understand a00:31:11
word. They said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, Gog and Magog are00:31:18
spreading corruption in the land. Shall we give you a tax00:31:26
on To put a barrier between us and them.00:31:31
He said, “What my00:31:33
Lord has enabled me to do is00:31:37
good, so help me00:31:40
with strength. I will make a bridge between you and them.00:31:45
Bring me the iron bar00:31:52
until it has leveled the two shells.” He said, “00:31:59
Blow00:32:02
until when it turns it into fire.” He said, “00:32:10
Bring me to pour drops on it.” But00:32:17
they were not able to reveal it, nor were they able to00:32:23
pry it. He said, “This is mercy00:32:27
from my00:32:28
Lord.” So, if00:32:33
The promise of my Lord has come, He will make it00:32:37
crushed, and the promise of my Lord was00:32:41
true. And We left some of them that00:32:45
day wavering among others and blowing the trumpets, so00:32:50
We gathered them all together, and We displayed Hell that day as a display for the00:32:57
disbelievers, whose00:32:59
eyes were00:33:06
covered from My remembrance and they were not00:33:12
able to00:33:13
hear. Do those who00:33:18
disbelieve think that they will take My servants besides Me as00:33:25
guardians?00:33:29
[Music]00:33:32
We are accustomed to00:33:35
Hell is an abode for the00:33:37
disbelievers. Say, “Shall we inform you00:33:42
of those who lose in00:33:45
deeds? Those whose efforts in the life of this world have gone astray00:33:51
while they think they are doing well. Those are those who00:33:59
disbelieved in the signs of their Lord00:34:08
and the meeting with Him. So their00:34:10
deeds are worthless, and We will not assign to them a weight on the Day of Resurrection.00:34:16
That is00:34:21
their reward: Hell for what they00:34:24
disbelieved. And He took My revelations and My Messengers as a mockery.00:34:33
Indeed,00:34:34
those who believed and did00:34:39
righteous deeds were theirs.” They00:34:42
entered Paradise and abode therein to abide forever, not seeking00:34:50
it for a while. Say, “If the sea were ink for the words of00:34:57
my Lord, the sea would run out before the words of00:35:04
my Lord ran out. Even if We brought the like of it as an ink.” Say, “00:35:11
I am only a human being like you.00:35:17
It is revealed to me.00:35:29
Quantum is but00:35:30
one God. So whoever hopes to00:35:38
meet his Lord, let00:35:41
him do00:35:46
good deeds and not associate anything with God.”00:35:57
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most00:36:02
Merciful. Praise be to God,00:36:07
who sent down to His servant the Book and did not make it00:36:15

warn of a00:36:21
severe punishment from coming, and to give good tidings to the believers,00:36:28
and to the believers who do righteous deeds, that00:36:36
they will have a00:36:39

to warn those who said, “God has taken a son,” of which they have no00:36:51
knowledge or knowledge.00:36:55

guidance for them and We00:39:02
bound them together. upon their00:39:07
hearts when they rose and00:39:10
said, “Our Lord, Lord of the heavens and the earth, we will never leave any god other than00:39:23
Him.”00:39:25
We have said, “00:39:27
If00:39:35
these people erred in taking their gods00:39:41
other than Him, why would they not bring against00:39:46
them a clear00:39:48
authority?” So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against God?00:39:55
And when you have isolated yourself from them and what they worship except Allah,00:40:03
then to the cave your Lord will publish for you. Of His mercy,00:40:11
and He will provide for you ease in00:40:14
your affairs,00:40:16
and you will see the sun, when it rises, turning away from their cave00:40:23
to the right, and when it sets, it takes them to the left [00:40:28

and when it sets, it takes them to the left, while they are in00:40:38
a gap from it. That is one of the signs of00:40:44
God. Whoever God guides is the one who is guided, and whoever He leads astray, you00:40:52
will never find for him a00:40:55
guardian. [00:40:56

and you think they are awake while00:41:03

and he follows his own desires, and his affair is excessive and insignificant. The truth is from00:46:24
your Lord. So whoever00:46:29
wills,00:46:31
let him believe, and whoever00:46:35
he wills, let00:46:37
him disbelieve. Indeed, We have00:46:41
prepared for00:46:44
the wrongdoers a fire whose00:46:49
curtains will surround them, and if00:46:51
they call for help, they will be provided with help,00:46:54
since it is00:46:57
like a dead man who roasts the00:47:01
faces.00:47:04

it has become an evil companion.00:47:08
Indeed,00:47:10
those who believe and do00:47:14
righteous deeds. We will not waste the reward of those who do good00:47:20
deeds.00:47:24
These will have00:47:26
Gardens of Eden flowing beneath them.00:47:34
Rivers flow beneath them. They will wear00:47:41
bracelets of gold and wear green garments,00:47:48
and they will wear green garments of silk and velvet,00:47:57
reclining therein on00:48:02
your seat. What a good reward and a good facility. Give00:48:07
them an example of two men. We made for one of them two00:48:14
gardens of grapes and surrounded them with palm00:48:20
trees and placed between them crops. Both gardens00:48:27
yielded their fruit and were not wronged by it.00:48:34
And00:48:35
We caused a00:48:39
river to flow through them, and it had fruit. So he said to his00:48:44
companion while he was00:48:48
debating with him00:48:49

I have more wealth than you and I am more powerful in00:48:57
people.” And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself. He said, “I do00:49:07
not think that00:49:12
this will00:49:14
ever perish, and I do not00:49:17
think that the Hour00:49:23
will come, nor have I returned to my Lord00:49:28
to find any better than either of them.” He turned back and his00:49:33
companion said to him while he was00:49:40
debating with him: “You have disbelieved.” You have disbelieved in the One who created you from00:49:46
dust. You have disbelieved in the One who created you00:49:51

dust, then from00:49:56
his sperm, then made you a00:50:00
man.00:50:02
But by God, I am my Lord, and I do00:50:08
not associate anyone with my Lord.00:50:15
And had it not been that, when I entered00:50:18
your Paradise, you said, “What00:50:22
God wills, there is no power except in00:50:27
God, there is no power except in God.” If you see that00:50:31
I am less than you in wealth00:50:37
and children, then perhaps my Lord will give me better than00:50:45
your Paradise and send upon it.00:50:49
We count on00:50:52
the sky, and it becomes a00:50:57
slippery plateau, or00:51:02
its water becomes deep, and you will not be able to seek it. And he was surrounded by its fruits, so he00:51:10
began to turn his palms over00:51:16
what he had spent in it, while it was empty of its00:51:22
thrones, and he would say, “Oh, I wish I were a polytheist to my Lord, anyone, and he had00:51:29
no group to00:51:33
help him besides God, and he was not00:51:40
victorious. There, guardianship belongs to God, the truth. He is.” It is better for00:51:48
reward and better for punishment. And give them a world like life,00:51:58
like water which00:51:59

the sky, and the plants of the earth were mixed with it, and the00:52:10
plants of the earth were mixed with it, and it became brittle plants that00:52:16
the winds scattered. And God is powerful over all00:52:22
things.00:52:26
Money and children are an adornment. The life of00:52:30
this world and the00:52:32
lasting good deeds00:52:33
are better with your Lord for00:52:39
reward and better for00:52:41
hope. And on the Day when We will move the mountains and you will see the earth00:52:48
standing out.00:52:50
And We gathered them together,00:52:52
and we gathered them together, but we left not00:52:57
one of them behind, and they were presented to your Lord in rows. You have come to Us00:53:05

We created you the first00:53:11
time. Rather,00:53:16
you claimed that We will not make for you00:53:20
a date. And00:53:24

see the criminals00:53:31

woe to us.00:53:42

the angels, “Prostrate to Adam,” so00:54:17

offspring as guardians besides me, and they are to you a miserable enemy to00:54:50

you made them witness to. He created the heavens and the earth and did not create00:55:02
themselves, and I would not have taken them. And the day when00:55:10
He will say, "Call upon00:55:15
my partners whom you claimed," and they called upon them, but they did not00:55:20
respond to them. And We made a burning00:55:26
place between them. And the criminals saw the00:55:30

set upon it, but they could not find a way out of it.00:55:52

man there is the most00:56:08
controversial thing and what People are prevented from00:56:14
believing when00:56:18
guidance has come to them and00:56:21
from seeking forgiveness from their00:56:22
Lord and from fleeing from their00:56:28
Lord00:56:31
unless the custom of the first two comes to them or00:56:39
the torment comes to them00:56:40
before. And We do not send messengers except as bring good tidings and as00:56:49
warnings, and those who disbelieve will argue with00:56:53
falsehood, they will gain therein the truth, and they00:57:00
have taken My signs, and they00:57:04
were warned not in00:57:08
jest. And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the signs of his Lord but turns away00:57:16
from them and forgets what His hands have been put forward. Indeed, We have placed coverings00:57:20
over00:57:27
their hearts00:57:29
so that they may understand it,00:57:34
and in it is protection for their ears, and if you invite them00:57:43
to guidance, they will not be00:57:48
guided. If we begin, and your Lord is the Forgiving, Possessor of00:57:50
Mercy.00:57:55
If He were to call them to account for00:57:57
what they have earned, He would hasten punishment for them. Nay, for them is an00:58:02
appointment without which they will not find a home. And those00:58:14
towns00:58:15
We destroyed when they wronged, and We made for their annihilator00:58:23
an appointment. Musa told his girl, “I will00:58:28
not leave until I reach the gathering of the two seas, or I have passed a period of time.” When they reached a00:58:37

behind them was a king, and01:03:37

so we feared that he would oppress them01:03:57

and disbelief, so we01:04:02
wanted their01:04:05
Lord to replace them with someone better than him,01:04:09
pure of purity, and closer to01:04:12
mercy. As for01:04:14
the wall, it belonged to01:04:17
two orphan boys in the city, and beneath it was a treasure01:04:24
of theirs, and their father was01:04:28
righteous, so your Lord wanted them to01:04:34
reach01:04:36
maturity. So your Lord wanted them to01:04:42
reach their maturity01:04:46
and extract01:04:47
their treasure.01:04:49
Mercy from your01:04:51
Lord. And what you did about my matter, that is the interpretation of what you did not01:04:58
show patience with. And01:05:01
they ask you about Dhul-01:05:05
Qarnayn. Say, “I will recite to01:05:09
you01:05:11
a remembrance of him.01:05:13
We01:05:14
established for him in the earth01:05:17
and gave him a reason for01:05:22
everything. So he followed a path01:05:28
until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in the A spring of01:05:36
hot water and found there01:05:39
people. We said, O Dhul-Qarnayn,01:05:46
either you will punish01:05:53
or you will treat them01:05:57
well. He said, “As for whoever does wrong, we will punish him, then he will be returned to his Lord and He will punish him with a terrible01:06:07
punishment. And as for whoever believes01:06:10
and does01:06:15
good deeds, he will have the01:06:20
reward01:06:21
of what is best, and We will say to him, ‘Our affair is easy.’ Then he will follow a01:06:30
path01:06:33
until, when he reaches the end.” He found the sun rising over a01:06:39
people for whom we had not given a01:06:44
cover other than it. Likewise, we had given him information about what he had. Then he followed a01:06:53
path01:06:56
until when he reached between the two dams, he found beyond them a01:07:03
people who could hardly understand a01:07:07
word. They said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, that Gog and Magog01:07:14
are spreading corruption in the land. Should we then assign a share to you, provided01:07:22
that he makes There is a barrier between us and them.01:07:27
He said, “What my01:07:30
Lord has enabled me to do is01:07:34
good, so help me01:07:37
with strength. I will make a bridge between you and them.01:07:41
Bring me the iron bar01:07:48
until it has leveled the two shells.” He said, “01:07:55
They blew01:07:58
until it made it fire.” He said, “Bring me to empty a01:08:09
train upon it.” But01:08:13
they were not able to reveal it, nor were they able to01:08:19
break through it. He said, “This is mercy from my01:08:25

promise comes to pass.” My Lord has made it01:08:33
crushed, and the promise of my Lord was01:08:37
true. And We left some of them01:08:41
on that day wavering among others and blowing the trumpets, so01:08:47
We gathered them together and presented Hell that day to the01:08:54
disbelievers in01:08:55
display, whose eyes were01:09:02
covered from My remembrance and they were not01:09:08
able to01:09:09
hear. So do those who01:09:15
disbelieve think that they will take My servants instead of Me as01:09:22
guardians?01:09:25

We are accustomed to01:09:31
Hell. For01:09:33
the disbelievers, a revelation. Say, “Shall we inform you01:09:38
of the losers in01:09:41
deeds? Those whose efforts have gone astray in the life of this world01:09:47
while they think that they are doing well. Those are the ones who01:09:55
disbelieved in the signs of their Lord01:10:04
and the meeting with Him. So their01:10:06
deeds are worthless, and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection01:10:12
a weight. That is01:10:17
their reward: Hell for what01:10:21
they disbelieved, and they took01:10:24

My signs and my messengers in mockery.01:10:29
Indeed,01:10:31
those who believe and do01:10:35
righteous deeds.” They will have the01:10:38
Gardens of Paradise as an abode in which they will abide forever, and they will not seek it for01:10:47
another year. Say, “If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord,01:10:54
the sea would run out before the words of01:11:00
my Lord would run out. Even if We brought the like of it as an ink.” Say, “01:11:07
I am only a human being like you.01:11:14
It is revealed to me, ‘Your01:11:21
God is only01:11:26
one God.’ So whoever hopes to01:11:34
meet his Lord,01:11:37
let him work. Let him do01:11:42
good deeds.” And He does not associate anyone with His servants with His Lord.01:11:52
In the name of God, Most Compassionate,01:11:58
Most Merciful. Praise be to God01:12:03
who sent down to His servant the Book and did not01:12:09
make it01:12:11
crooked and crooked,01:12:14
in order to warn of a01:12:18
severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to01:12:22
the believers.01:12:24
He gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that01:12:32
they will have a01:12:35
good reward, to abide therein01:12:38
forever. And01:12:40
He warns those who said, “God has taken a son,” of01:12:45
which they have no knowledge. Nor are01:12:52
the fathers of the01:12:54
fathers of a01:12:55
word that comes out of01:13:00
their mouths that they say anything but a lie. Perhaps you will dishonor01:13:09
your soul in their tracks01:13:16
if they do not believe in this hadith. With regret, We01:13:24
have made what is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them as to which of them is best in deed. And indeed, they will certainly make01:13:38
what is upon it a01:13:44
barren plain. Or did you think that the Companions of the Cave and the Ar-01:13:50
Raqim were a strange thing? So, the young men went to01:13:57
the cave and said, “Our01:14:02
Lord, give us mercy from01:14:05
You. Our01:14:10
Lord, give us mercy from You, and provide us with01:14:19
guidance in our affairs.” So We struck their ears in the cave for a01:14:28
number of years, then We sent them to know which of the two parties counted. How long did they remain? We tell you, we inform you of the truth. They are young men who have believed in their Lord. Indeed, they have believed in their Lord, and We01:14:52
have increased them. He guided and01:15:00
strengthened their01:15:03
hearts when they stood up and01:15:06
said, “Our Lord, Lord of the heavens and the earth, we will never leave any god other than01:15:19
Him.”01:15:22
We have said, “01:15:24
If01:15:32
these people have gone astray, they would have taken other01:15:37
than Him as their god. Why should they not bring upon01:15:42
them a clear01:15:44
authority? Who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against God?”01:15:52
And when you have isolated yourself from them and they worship none but God,01:16:00
then go to the cave and it will be revealed for you. Your Lord is of His mercy,01:16:07
and He will provide for you ease in01:16:11
your affairs,01:16:13
and you will see the sun, when it rises, turning away from their cave01:16:20
to the right, and when it sets, leading them to the01:16:27
left [music], and when it sets, it is leading them to the left, while they are in a gap01:16:34
from it. That is one of the signs of01:16:40
God. Whoever God guides is the one guided, and whoever He leads astray, you01:16:48
will never find for him a guardian or guide.01:16:57
And you think that they are01:16:59
awake while they are asleep, and01:17:04
we turn them over to the right and to the left, and01:17:09
their dog01:17:11
has his arms spread out01:17:15
in the hunt. If you had looked at them, you would have fled from them, and you would01:17:21
have been filled with01:17:24
fear from them. And thus We sent them01:17:31
to inquire01:17:32
among themselves.01:17:58
Someone among them said, “How long have you stayed?” They said, “We have stayed a day or part of a day.” They said, “Your Lord knows best how long you have tarried.” So send one of you with this paper of yours01:18:02

the city, so01:18:06
let him see01:18:09
which one. The01:18:13
purest food, let them provide provision from it, and let them be kind, and let01:18:18
no01:18:25
one make you feel that01:18:28
if they appear against you, they will01:18:35

their religion, or01:18:41
return you to their religion, and you will not01:18:47
succeed when we begin. And thus did We find them so01:18:56
that they might know that the promise of God is true, and that the Hour will be without doubt,01:19:05

among themselves their matter, and they said, “Build a building01:19:14
over them. Their01:19:20
Lord knows best.” With it,01:19:23
those who prevailed01:19:28
over their affairs said, “Let01:19:31
us make a place of worship over01:19:33

They will say, “Three, the fourth of whom is their dog,” and01:19:42
they will say, “01:19:43
Five,” the sixth of whom is their dog, as stoning of the unseen. And they will say, “01:19:54

their dog.” Say, “My Lord knows best.” I sold them, and01:20:05

a few know them. So do not pass over01:20:13
them except01:20:19
openly dissent, and do not ask anyone among them01:20:23

anything, “I am.”01:20:34

God wills. And remember your Lord if you01:20:51
forget, and say, “01:20:55
Perhaps my Lord will guide me to a path closer to this in righteousness.” And01:21:03
they remained in their cave for01:21:06
00 years, and they added nine. Say, “God knows best what they01:21:14
tarried for. The unseen of the heavens and the earth sees through it01:21:21
and hears. They have no guardian besides Him, and He does not associate01:21:31
anyone with His judgment.” And recite01:21:36
what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. There is no one to change01:21:43
