name is Ernesto and I'm an alcoholic and a drug00:37:20
addict you know I grew up here went to school
here was married here I became an addict here 00:37:37
you know I also recovered here so I guess it
ain't all that bad right nah but seriously I'm 00:37:47
I'm grateful for these meetings this church I
mean these meetings they they really changed 00:37:54
my life I live down in uh mon now with my wife
and kids and uh couple weeks ago was on my way 00:38:04
to this appointment it's a work appointment
and uh got a flat tire it was early too like 00:38:13
5:00 in the morning right so it's it's pitch
black see I hear this voice and this telling 00:38:20
me to drive 3 hours North to go visit an
old friend and I knew like I knew I had to 00:38:29
go do this at this time regardless of what it
looked like outside or what it felt like I had 00:38:34
to go so I'm taking this three-hour Drive in the
opposite direction to go visit an old drunk like00:38:44
me you know I believe uh believe God told 00:38:51
me to visit [Music] him now I
honestly I'm convinced that I'm00:38:59
right Dave why don't you come share your
testimony for everybody so they can get an00:39:07
idea wow I didn't know I'd be
coming up here probably cuz if 00:39:31
Ernesto told me I wouldn't

uh has been pretty00:39:43
horrible I fell into drugs after
the alcohol and lost my family00:39:57

life but the worst part was I lost my
sister because I was drunk and killed 00:40:12
her which made me a murderer and after all that 00:40:22
God decided to bring me back and I'll
never know what why I don't deserve00:40:29
it but because he pulled me out of
the depths I'm here now and it has 00:40:43
to be for a reason and maybe it's
just to save one more person but 00:40:49
if I had to go through all that to be
here and my story will save just one00:40:56
person it will have been worth it because we never
know what God's purpose is we all have potential 00:41:06
and it's the devil who pulls us away through
drugs and Temptation many never make it back but I00:41:20

I saw a lot of Pastor Mark he taught me a lot I 01:13:31
even had my first sober with my ex-wife now that
was hard but it was going all in that made the01:13:38
