ebb and flow but once it goes in a00:01:24
certain direction it continues in that00:01:26
direction until some sort of explosive00:01:28
event in the same way that perhaps an00:01:29
alcoholic has to hit rock bottom in many00:01:32
cases to stop drinking you don't just00:01:34
see especially in large societies00:01:36
culture turn on a dime and so culture in00:01:39
a country like the United States and I00:01:41
would say we can put most of the00:01:42
English-speaking World in that same00:01:44
basket has been becoming more and more00:01:47
Progressive you can think that's good00:01:49
you can think that that's bad but what I00:01:52
can tell you from having traveled to00:01:53
over 100 countries having lived in let's00:01:55
say a dozen of them is at the simplest00:01:58

think the social Fabric in those places00:05:23

has in much of the western world I don't00:05:30
really see people at each other's00:05:31

I've been able to associate with worldly00:05:47

Americanized way or it's like what are00:06:04

you lifting but in a true way of being a00:06:09
leader commanding a tribe taking charge00:06:11
taking care of people I've become more00:06:14
of that because the places where I've00:06:15
lived that's what women expect most of00:06:18
the places I've lived there is uh it's00:06:21
interesting there are countries in00:06:23
Europe where you have what I would call00:06:24

in not every Eastern European country00:10:06
but I know of Eastern European countries00:10:08
where there's a greater work ethic00:10:09
there's some sense of deference in some00:10:12

people want to work there's an00:10:15
intelligence that I don't think is00:10:16
necessarily there in people who spent00:10:18
four years in college doing jello shots00:10:20

to be men and women to be women I mean00:10:25

Balkans or the cacasses in Eastern00:10:29

senators like mostly Democratic00:11:32
Representatives voted for it's a blue00:11:35
State yes I lived in Arizona it feels00:11:38
like a red state but it's not a red00:11:39

before the place where you know you live00:11:43
the national culture kind of overtakes00:11:45

disagree on what we think is reasonable00:11:52
