to this topic potentially even like a
00:00:04
month late depending on when this video
00:00:05
comes out but in my defense I'm a dad
00:00:08
now all right I have a baby he's 5
00:00:11
months old I have better things to do
00:00:13
than sitting here talking to a camera
00:00:16
alone in my
00:00:17
room like watching Jason Nash live
00:00:19
stream on Tik Tok all right Sandra thank
00:00:21
you for the money Kevin thank you for
00:00:24
the money can you guys send me a million
00:00:26
dollars turns out I can do both at the
00:00:28
same time though so now I'm here if
00:00:30
you've been on Tik Tok lately there's a
00:00:31
good chance you've seen former Vlog
00:00:33
Squad member Jason Nash constantly live
00:00:36
streaming compulsively urging his fans
00:00:38
to send him money I know I have a lot
00:00:41
this man is constantly live here we go
00:00:43
118 guys don't forget to follow my
00:00:45
podcast All Good Things podcast we just
00:00:47
spoke about it we
00:00:51
need have you enjoyed that 30 seconds of
00:00:53
Silence guys make sure to go check out
00:00:55
my podcast you're going to love that
00:00:57
it's completely silent for an hour like
00:00:59
me a lot a lot of people were pretty
00:01:00
confused to see this at one time Jason
00:01:03
Nash was a part of the most popular
00:01:04
group on YouTube and now he's battling
00:01:07
the Joker for gifts on Tik Tok what a
00:01:09
way to start the day with Tommy coach
00:01:11
Tommy thank you so much for being here
00:01:12
have you never seen one of these Tik Tok
00:01:14
gifts battles before basically there's
00:01:16
two creators and you send gifts to the
00:01:18
respective creator that you're watching
00:01:20
this bar at the top indicates who has
00:01:21
the most gifts and when time Runs Out
00:01:23
Whoever has the most gifts wins their
00:01:25
prize all of the gifts that they got
00:01:27
during the battle and then the second
00:01:30
place person also wins all the gifts
00:01:32
that they got during that battle so
00:01:33
needless to say there's a lot at stake
00:01:35
this is a live stream Where Jason is
00:01:36
actually battling his wife nav why don't
00:01:38
you come down in the
00:01:40
room I'll let you
00:01:43
in you can come back in the house then
00:01:45
yeah come back in the house man you look
00:01:47
like Batman standing over the city now
00:01:49
hang on if they're married aren't the
00:01:52
gifts just going to both of them what
00:01:54
kind of charade is this now at first I
00:01:56
kind of assumed that most of the people
00:01:57
watching these live streams were
00:01:59
children and I I was like ooh that is
00:02:01
super weird just like asking children
00:02:02
for money you're basically just asking
00:02:05
them to steal their parents' credit
00:02:06
cards in a way I sort of thought of
00:02:08
Jason Nash as like a babysitter but he's
00:02:10
also babysitting a thousand other kids
00:02:13
and if you start choking he's not going
00:02:14
to call 911 cuz he he can't see you but
00:02:17
after tuning into a few of his streams
00:02:18
and actually like clicking on some of
00:02:19
the profiles of people watching I
00:02:21
realized that it's actually mostly
00:02:23
adults which was very surprising to me
00:02:26
guys what are we doing here stop that I
00:02:29
promise you there are like a billion
00:02:31
other better uses for your money than
00:02:33
helping Jason Nash's wife crush him in a
00:02:36
gift battle fun as it may be the reason
00:02:38
I wanted to make this video is cuz I
00:02:39
think that it's kind of a very
00:02:41
interesting look at the career span of a
00:02:45
Creator it's a pretty new career All
00:02:47
Things Considered like nobody's been a
00:02:49
full-time online creator for 40 years so
00:02:51
we don't really know how long this
00:02:53
career is supposed to last or how it
00:02:55
will evolve over time so I think it's
00:02:57
worth looking at why Jason Nash is here
00:02:59
but between the years of 2016 and 2020
00:03:02
David do was seemingly at the top of the
00:03:04
YouTube ecosystem what started as David
00:03:07
just sort of goofing around and filming
00:03:09
his friends as up and cominging content
00:03:10
creators quickly turned into partying
00:03:13
all the time collabing with huge
00:03:14
celebrities huge giveaways and giant
00:03:17
sponsorship deals and if you didn't
00:03:19
watch the Vlogs around this time you
00:03:21
might think that David was like the
00:03:23
biggest part of them but it was actually
00:03:25
more his friends doing the heavy lifting
00:03:27
David was always behind the camera and
00:03:28
sure he was laugh a lot and you'd hear
00:03:31
him laugh but I really feel like the
00:03:33
reason people tuned in was sort of to
00:03:34
live vicariously through David and
00:03:36
experience the goofiness that was all of
00:03:39
his friends so while all of the Vlogs
00:03:41
were on David's Channel and David was
00:03:43
inevitably the most popular member of
00:03:45
the Vlog Squad I really feel like he
00:03:46
owes most of his success to his friend
00:03:49
group but it was a fun time I watched a
00:03:51
lot of the Vlogs back in the day and I
00:03:53
really enjoyed them it felt like you
00:03:54
were a part of this friend group and in
00:03:57
a lot of ways you were like the members
00:03:59
of the Vlog Vlog Squad because like the
00:04:00
members of the Vlog Squad you also were
00:04:02
not getting paid for your appearances in
00:04:04
the videos which is something that I
00:04:06
always found kind of weird David's
00:04:09
friends never got any sort of payment
00:04:11
their only payment was an exposure and
00:04:13
so what kind of ended up happening was
00:04:15
because everybody else around David
00:04:17
wanted to launch their careers off of
00:04:18
David's Vlogs they all started vlogging
00:04:21
too but because they would always be
00:04:22
hanging out together all of their Vlogs
00:04:24
seem to be just like the same situation
00:04:27
from a bunch of different angles and
00:04:29
every was holding Vlog cameras got
00:04:31
pretty out of hand for a while there
00:04:32
eventually though during the pandemic a
00:04:34
bunch of stuff happened that caused
00:04:35
David to take a step back from vlogging
00:04:37
mainly a bunch of scary accusations
00:04:39
about one of his best friends Dom and
00:04:41
also him almost killing one of his other
00:04:42
best friends Jeff Whit by slamming him
00:04:45
into the site of an excavator after
00:04:46
losing a bunch of followers and probably
00:04:48
more importantly a bunch of sponsors
00:04:51
David posted an apology saying he was
00:04:53
going to do better he said he was going
00:04:54
to take steps to make sure his Vlog were
00:04:56
a safer environment for the people in
00:04:58
them and I want to be able to have a
00:05:00
place of checks and balances I want to
00:05:01
have HR if he had to choose between
00:05:03
quitting vlogging or doing it safer with
00:05:05
an HR team he was going to do
00:05:08
that and then he quit vlogging currently
00:05:11
David is still presumably very rich the
00:05:13
only place he really posts is on
00:05:15
Snapchat and from what I can tell he
00:05:17
mostly just goes around and tours really
00:05:20
expensive houses and parties a lot he
00:05:22
doesn't seem to have any Ambitions of
00:05:24
creating more content on YouTube in a
00:05:26
lot of ways he's sort of like the Great
00:05:28
Gatsby of social media now but without
00:05:31
David sort of Manning the ship that was
00:05:33
the Vlog Squad a lot of the other
00:05:34
members basically had to figure out
00:05:36
other avenues and other ways to make
00:05:38
money and maintain their following after
00:05:40
the Vlog ended Zayn and Heath have a
00:05:42
pretty successful podcast now so does
00:05:43
Jeff Whit Carly and Aaron I believe have
00:05:45
a podcast too but I feel like Jason Nash
00:05:48
out of the entire group is having the
00:05:49
most trouble adjusting to the post Vlog
00:05:52
era he has a podcast but it's definitely
00:05:55
not getting the same numbers that his
00:05:57
podcast with David did views back in the
00:05:59
day which David also quit despite them I
00:06:02
think getting a bunch of really great
00:06:04
offers that would have changed Jason's
00:06:06
life David decided to quit cuz he didn't
00:06:08
want to do that anymore he wanted to be
00:06:10
the great gats so Jason has now been
00:06:11
left to fend for himself and it seems
00:06:13
like Tik Tock gift streaming is what he
00:06:16
has turned to you excited to go to
00:06:25
dinner man this is content baby this is
00:06:29
crazy I didn't know all you had to do is
00:06:31
just sit there and stare at your camera
00:06:33
and people will just send you money why
00:06:35
did I write this whole video so a lot of
00:06:37
the response has obviously been kind of
00:06:39
cringing at this this feeling that what
00:06:41
he's doing now is very shady and I mean
00:06:44
he's not really harming anybody I guess
00:06:48
it does seem like it's mostly adults
00:06:50
sending him money obviously there's
00:06:51
always going to be kids online stealing
00:06:53
their parents credit card so that's not
00:06:54
great I do get kind of a shady vibe from
00:06:56
it just because there's like there
00:06:58
literally is no no content for you to
00:07:00
consume except to send him money like
00:07:03
the whole point of this stream is to see
00:07:05
how much money Jason can make without
00:07:08
having to do anything that's like the
00:07:09
point of the stream thank you let's go
00:07:13
and you could argue that Twitch
00:07:15
streaming has donations and you know a
00:07:17
bunch of other live streaming does too
00:07:18
but I would argue that there there's at
00:07:20
least some content behind that someone's
00:07:22
playing a video game or they're doing a
00:07:24
podcast live and the donations are just
00:07:25
a little bit extra on top it's not the
00:07:27
content itself seen a lot of people
00:07:30
wondering like wait isn't David super
00:07:32
generous during his Vlogs he was always
00:07:35
giving away cars he was paying for
00:07:37
people's wedding just like handing out
00:07:39
PlayStations to people on the street
00:07:40
surely he could just help Jason if he's
00:07:43
struggling financially
00:07:44
right wrong from some of Jason's podcast
00:07:47
Clips it seems that that is definitely
00:07:49
not the case but before we get to that
00:07:51
I've got to make some money of my own
00:07:53
all right guys let's get those gifts in
00:07:55
James thank you for the Llama Carol
00:07:59
thank you thank you for the
00:08:02
sombrero uh Brian sent a
00:08:05
Arab
00:08:08
oh is this a gift on Tik Tok live also
00:08:12
how did you get this one this one's mine
00:08:14
well regardless this is actually pretty
00:08:15
convenient cuz this video is sponsored
00:08:16
by Arup Arup flavors your water using
00:08:19
scent based taste and uh oh Brian also
00:08:22
sent a scent pod oh thanks man okay so I
00:08:25
can put that on with the scent pod down
00:08:27
like so it's just a normal water bot but
00:08:29
when I activate the scent pod air is
00:08:32
able to pass through the scent pod and
00:08:34
into your mouth where you can taste the
00:08:36
scent send me money I like to bust out
00:08:38
my air up while I'm getting work done it
00:08:40
gives my water a little bit more o which
00:08:42
is what I need when I'm trying to focus
00:08:44
this one right here is lme and it is
00:08:46
excellent someone said come to Brazil
00:08:48
I'm busy is a unique hydrating
00:08:51
experience you can't get this anywhere
00:08:52
else buddy no chemicals no sweeteners
00:08:55
added to the water just plain old water
00:08:57
into my plain old the scent pods come in
00:09:00
a variety of flavors I really like the
00:09:02
lime and the peach my editor Jake is
00:09:04
really fond of cherry so no matter what
00:09:06
kind of flavors you like there's bound
00:09:07
to be a couple for you you want to spice
00:09:09
up your hydration experience click the
00:09:11
link in the description get yourself an
00:09:13
air up get yourself some scent pods put
00:09:15
your mouth on the nozzle and suck away
00:09:17
you look really tired today that is mean
00:09:20
thank you to Arab for sponsoring this
00:09:21
video and thank you to you guys for
00:09:23
checking out Arab now back to the video
00:09:25
about a month ago when Jason was in the
00:09:27
thick of his live streaming every day he
00:09:29
posted this podcast where he and a bunch
00:09:31
of David's mutual friends talk about how
00:09:33
different life is now that David's not
00:09:35
vlogging anymore like the thing is like
00:09:37
David's in this like moment in his life
00:09:40
yeah where he can do anything where he
00:09:42
just parties oh no Jason the look on
00:09:45
your face man Jason's like don't look
00:09:47
bitter don't look bitter don't look
00:09:48
bitter where he can do anything perfect
00:09:51
he can do whatever the he wants now
00:09:52
he calls me to play pool and I'm like I
00:09:56
gotta go live and and I don't and I
00:09:59
don't expect him to understand that you
00:10:01
don't expect him to understand that you
00:10:03
have to work to make money you know he
00:10:05
did that too right I wouldn't expect him
00:10:07
to understand that man he hasn't had to
00:10:09
work in gosh what is it 2 years now I
00:10:12
hate to say it Jason I think he gets it
00:10:15
I just don't think he cares like I'll
00:10:16
say things like I'm losing my
00:10:18
house and he'll be like oh but just go
00:10:21
play pool I just don't think he cares
00:10:25
dude Jason haven't you learned anything
00:10:26
from being friends with a popular
00:10:28
YouTuber you just told him you might
00:10:29
lose your house and he invites you over
00:10:32
you think he really wants to play pool
00:10:34
dude he's probably going to Mr Beast you
00:10:36
he's probably inviting you over so he
00:10:37
can like surprise you with a new house
00:10:40
he might make you do squid games for it
00:10:42
but you you have a chance to win a new
00:10:43
house maybe he'll give you a new car or
00:10:46
you know surprise you with his new car
00:10:48
like he did that one time my surprise to
00:10:50
you is that I'm buying myself a car I
00:10:52
know that was cool I will say it is
00:10:54
interesting that David seemingly stopped
00:10:56
doing the extravagant give giveaways
00:10:59
once you stop doing the Vlogs I wonder
00:11:02
what the correlation there is that's
00:11:04
kind of weird there was a great Tik Tok
00:11:06
that he sent which was like some guy
00:11:07
it's just the guy that has like a lot of
00:11:08
money and can't and can do anything all
00:11:10
day he's like oh Dipple is having a
00:11:11
party tonight and like it's literally
00:11:13
like things that David has said David
00:11:14
sent Jason a Tik Tok of a rich out of
00:11:17
touch guy being like Oh my god dude this
00:11:19
is so me dude look at this Tik Tok this
00:11:22
is so me that moment when you're rich
00:11:24
and you're partying with Diplo and
00:11:25
you're talking about how much you hate
00:11:26
Jason Nash and how poor Jason Nash is
00:11:29
guys comment below if you found this
00:11:30
relatable but if you think about it
00:11:32
though from 18 to like what 23 24 oh he
00:11:36
was he never he never Dr I don't think
00:11:38
he ever drank even when we would um
00:11:40
visit him we'd be up to like midnight
00:11:43
just like watching the edits just like
00:11:45
wow he worked hard for 5 years let the
00:11:48
man party dude please do not burden
00:11:51
David's poor gentle soul with your
00:11:54
financial woes just let the man play
00:11:56
pool and play with him for God's sake I
00:11:59
mean look I don't doubt that he worked
00:12:00
hard the the dude posted three Vlogs a
00:12:03
week I'm sure it was a lot of hard work
00:12:05
but you know who also worked hard all
00:12:07
everybody in his Vlogs I mean that dude
00:12:09
just said it himself they all stayed up
00:12:11
with him until midnight watching the
00:12:13
edits to make sure they were good this
00:12:15
was a group Endeavor and I know what
00:12:17
people say they say like well David gave
00:12:19
them the the opportunities you know he
00:12:21
didn't have to make them famous uh yeah
00:12:24
he kind of did that was like the whole
00:12:25
point of his Vlogs was his friends David
00:12:27
wasn't just making famous because he was
00:12:30
a good generous guy he was doing it
00:12:32
because that's what was working they
00:12:34
made him famous as much as he made them
00:12:36
famous now it's like the complete
00:12:38
opposite everyone's like working and
00:12:39
hears him just like hey what are you
00:12:42
doing tonight it's like a Tuesday night
00:12:44
everyone's working yeah man that is kind
00:12:47
of a crazy switch whereas before David
00:12:49
was working and everyone was helping him
00:12:52
now everyone else is working so
00:12:54
naturally David is partying with Diplo
00:12:57
naturally a lot of the conversation
00:12:58
around Jason's live streams has revolved
00:13:00
around the confusion as to why he
00:13:02
wouldn't just get like a normal job if
00:13:04
he was strapped for cash or if like the
00:13:06
social media thing wasn't working out
00:13:08
can someone make Jason Nash a
00:13:10
door Dash account people are wondering
00:13:12
why is he pursuing this career that is
00:13:14
like universally seen as embarrassing or
00:13:17
cringe rather than just getting a 9 to5
00:13:19
and I totally get that criticism because
00:13:21
I do love being a Creator I love getting
00:13:24
to be my own boss I love being creative
00:13:26
on a daily basis working with people
00:13:28
people that I'm really inspired by
00:13:30
entertaining people but if this exact
00:13:34
version of being a Creator stopped being
00:13:36
feasible would I start doing gift
00:13:39
streams on Tik Tok hell no and not even
00:13:43
necessarily because it's like
00:13:45
embarrassing or cringe it's just that
00:13:47
like what I enjoy about being a creator
00:13:50
that does not accomplish there's no
00:13:52
being creative there's no entertaining
00:13:55
people at a certain point you like strip
00:13:57
out all of the fun parts of the career
00:13:59
and you just have only the most
00:14:01
superficial parts of it left just money
00:14:03
and fame so no if I did if like this
00:14:06
YouTube channel didn't work out anymore
00:14:07
there's a a billion other things I would
00:14:10
rather do that would be more enticing to
00:14:12
me than like gift streaming on Twitch
00:14:14
but maybe Jason likes
00:14:16
it he doesn't look like he does but
00:14:19
maybe he does on the other hand I could
00:14:21
say that Jason is also older he's lived
00:14:24
a lot more life he's had a lot more
00:14:26
experience and his career in the
00:14:27
entertainment industry has has gone
00:14:29
through a lot more ups and downs than
00:14:30
mine has from what I can tell Jason has
00:14:32
been a stand-up comedian he's been in TV
00:14:35
shows he's been a podcaster a Viner and
00:14:39
a vlog Squad member and now a Tik Tock
00:14:41
live gift battler between all of those
00:14:43
seasons of his life I'm sure there was
00:14:45
downtime where he could have thought oh
00:14:47
maybe this isn't for me I'm going to get
00:14:49
up and go get a normal job and then lo
00:14:51
and behold the next opportunity comes
00:14:53
along so in some sense I do understand
00:14:56
if Jason's mentality is like maybe I'm
00:14:58
just going to do this for a little while
00:15:00
until I get my next thing off the ground
00:15:02
and I know that when I started vine
00:15:05
people said the same thing to me they're
00:15:06
like what are you doing why are you
00:15:07
doing Vine you know and I was like okay
00:15:09
this is what I'm doing and then I did
00:15:10
YouTube and people like why are you
00:15:11
doing YouTube and I feel like when
00:15:13
you're first to something that can
00:15:16
really uh pan out yeah I do get what
00:15:19
you're saying but also I don't know if
00:15:22
this is the same as Vine and YouTube
00:15:25
saying he's the first to this new thing
00:15:27
like Tik tock
00:15:29
gift battling is going to be the next
00:15:30
big thing is very worrying to me please
00:15:33
don't make that the next big thing guys
00:15:35
on top of all that there is this sort of
00:15:37
like gamification in your head that
00:15:40
happens when you're a content creator
00:15:41
because so much of it is like numbers
00:15:43
based you're always looking at your
00:15:44
analytics hoping your numbers go up it
00:15:46
becomes kind of a game in your head to
00:15:48
see if you can do better than you did
00:15:50
last month or last year because of that
00:15:51
I feel like in a lot of content creators
00:15:53
heads quitting or pursuing a different
00:15:55
career path is seen as like losing the
00:15:58
game even even if it's subconscious that
00:16:00
being said I don't think that's a
00:16:01
healthy way to look at it and I would
00:16:02
encourage people who are pursuing being
00:16:05
a Creator to find other passions that
00:16:08
you know if this didn't work out you
00:16:09
could pursue that instead because I
00:16:11
think just clinging to relevancy for
00:16:13
relevancy sake is not a good thing but
00:16:16
why try to guess what Jason's thinking
00:16:18
when someone literally asked him on his
00:16:20
own podcast why he doesn't just get a
00:16:22
job this isn't me saying this as a
00:16:24
negative thing I'm just totally asking
00:16:26
why don't I get a real job know why you
00:16:29
do it yeah but like no no man I know why
00:16:32
you do it it's pretty clear to me but um
00:16:36
could you tell everyone else why you do
00:16:39
this someone someone said that the other
00:16:41
day why don't you get into real estate
00:16:42
I'm like I hate it I don't have a real
00:16:44
estate granny oh yeah I forgot you have
00:16:46
to be born with a real estate license to
00:16:49
do real estate but darn Jason Nash was
00:16:52
born with a Tik Tok account so he has to
00:16:54
do that instead now look would I be on
00:16:56
Tik Tok live if I wasn't in like a
00:16:58
financial hole I don't know probably not
00:17:01
but also like YouTube wasn't really
00:17:04
working and um and I needed to find
00:17:07
something only fans I can't do only fans
00:17:10
this is such an unrelatable thought
00:17:12
process to most people YouTube is not
00:17:14
working out for him and his first
00:17:16
thought is only
00:17:18
fans Tick Tock begging people for money
00:17:21
it just comes off as being so set on
00:17:23
being an influencer that nothing else
00:17:24
matters to this guy listen it is what it
00:17:27
is it's like I was on V I was on YouTube
00:17:29
I was on Snapchat and now I'm doing
00:17:31
this don't say that now I'm doing this I
00:17:35
mean I do like it no man I don't think
00:17:37
you do not after that we all saw that so
00:17:40
anyway it is what it is and I have to do
00:17:42
it because I love it and it's my
00:17:46
favorite thing pH that was close hey we
00:17:49
can hear you what you said that was
00:17:51
close out loud oh no do you ever think
00:17:54
about going at to Door Dash or to like a
00:17:57
I just never thought it's like it's like
00:17:59
it's entertainment or nothing I don't
00:18:00
care what it is like I what would you
00:18:02
suggest I do no no I'm
00:18:04
no it's just
00:18:06
a from what I can gather from this clip
00:18:09
and the way they're laughing about the
00:18:11
prospect of being a door Dash driver or
00:18:13
working at Lululemon those jobs are not
00:18:16
even on the table for Jason I don't know
00:18:18
his personal finances but Jason lives in
00:18:20
La he owns a house he has kids he has a
00:18:22
wife so I feel like when he's saying
00:18:24
things like I don't have any other
00:18:25
skills what he's really saying is I
00:18:27
don't have any other skills that would
00:18:29
allow me to live the exact same life
00:18:31
that I'm currently living and honestly I
00:18:33
could understand if he really does like
00:18:35
the Tik Tok live streaming thing but
00:18:37
don't laugh at other jobs like Lululemon
00:18:39
or door Dash like you're so above doing
00:18:42
them yet you're on Tik Tok literally
00:18:44
asking people for money and I do totally
00:18:46
get that Jason has kids that he has to
00:18:48
support that I'm totally empathetic to
00:18:50
that situation it is kind of ironic that
00:18:53
his solution to that is to ask other
00:18:55
people's kids for money online but
00:18:57
that's neither here nor there there this
00:18:58
whole situation kind of reminds me of
00:19:00
this Tik Tok I saw about a month ago my
00:19:02
Roman Empire is all of those influencers
00:19:04
who dropped out of college or quit their
00:19:06
jobs moved to LA then became irrelevant
00:19:08
like where did they go what are they
00:19:09
doing now one interesting thing that I
00:19:11
don't know if a lot of people know is
00:19:12
that I feel like a lot of creators who
00:19:14
get into this situation can actually
00:19:16
leverage some of the connections they
00:19:18
make while they're relevant and some of
00:19:20
the skills that they've learned to get
00:19:22
jobs at like marketing agencies talent
00:19:25
agencies social media companies or
00:19:27
working for other creators behind the
00:19:29
scenes there's actually a lot of
00:19:31
opportunities out there which I would
00:19:32
know because my first job out of college
00:19:35
was working for a YouTube MCN while I
00:19:38
was still on Vine I graduated college
00:19:40
and I was worried that that wasn't going
00:19:42
to be a stable career so I actually got
00:19:43
a job working at an MCN and then I also
00:19:45
worked at the YouTube channel Corridor
00:19:47
for a while before my YouTube channel
00:19:48
took off so just throwing that out there
00:19:50
there are other career opportunities
00:19:52
where you get to be involved in the
00:19:54
Creator space even uh writing or acting
00:19:58
Stu stuff like that but it doesn't have
00:19:59
to be your operation you can just get a
00:20:02
stable job all right it's time to talk
00:20:03
about David again while everyone was
00:20:05
making fun of Jason for doing the Tik
00:20:07
Tok live streaming thing David paid him
00:20:09
a visit on Snapchat dude you're kind of
00:20:10
becoming a legend on Tik Tok now I know
00:20:13
not not a good yeah but I think it's fun
00:20:17
no man this is a great look this is
00:20:19
awesome multi-millionaire visits former
00:20:22
unpaid employee wearing a crown to make
00:20:24
fun of his new job David do you know why
00:20:29
per chance Jason has to do the Tik Tok
00:20:32
live streaming have you thought about
00:20:33
that at all during your long nights of
00:20:35
playing pool bye guys thanks for having
00:20:37
us over in your bye guys in your little
00:20:39
hobbit home and make fun of his house
00:20:41
before you leave
00:20:43
check great job now with all of this
00:20:46
talk about David and Jason I just want
00:20:48
to make it clear do not go and send any
00:20:50
hate to these people in real life
00:20:52
especially Jason Jason actually got
00:20:54
swatted midli during one of his streams
00:20:56
a few weeks ago which is obviously
00:20:58
horrible any else inside no okay hold on
00:21:01
let's get
00:21:02
together this is obviously a horrible
00:21:04
situation actually terrifying but I
00:21:06
cannot help but break a little smile
00:21:09
when I look over and the two people he's
00:21:11
gift battling are the D Brothers I don't
00:21:13
think there's a single funnier sight
00:21:15
than watching the two of these blankly
00:21:16
stare into the camera not understanding
00:21:18
what's going on also Imagine your gift
00:21:20
battle opponent getting swatted and he's
00:21:23
still crushing you dude that's got to
00:21:25
hurt my big takeaway from all of this is
00:21:27
if you you are pursuing being a content
00:21:30
creator I would heavily recommend being
00:21:32
super careful about the way you go about
00:21:34
it I would highly recommend not letting
00:21:36
your success be at all related to the
00:21:39
success of another influencer you don't
00:21:41
want to be the guy from David's Vlogs
00:21:44
when David stops the Vlogs also save
00:21:46
your money this career that we have we
00:21:49
don't know how long it's going to last I
00:21:51
mean I sort of view it as being any
00:21:53
other type of Entertainer you you're
00:21:55
only relevant for so long or like an a
00:21:58
aete or something you can only be in
00:21:59
your Prime for a certain amount of time
00:22:01
so save as much as you can it's really
00:22:03
easy to get caught up in the lifestyle
00:22:05
of an influencer and like partying all
00:22:06
the time and flying on private jets
00:22:08
buying expensive cars and if you can
00:22:10
make this career last for like 20 to 30
00:22:13
years that's awesome that's insane but
00:22:15
it's definitely not guaranteed so just
00:22:17
be careful all right for me for your old
00:22:20
pal Dan all right guys well I hope you
