00:00:00
hey in today's lesson I'm going to teach
00:00:03
you how to speak English the right way
00:00:06
that's right I'm going to help you sound
00:00:08
like me a native English speaker are you
00:00:11
ready well then I'm teacher Tiffany
00:00:14
let's Jump Right In all right here's the
00:00:17
very first situation we see this woman
00:00:19
sitting on her sofa looking for a movie
00:00:22
but if you had to describe the situation
00:00:26
like a native English speaker
00:00:28
what would you say well the very first
00:00:31
thing you could say is this I saw that
00:00:35
she was scrolling through the videos on
00:00:39
her tablet now this expression scrolling
00:00:43
through on the video you saw that she
00:00:46
was doing this with her hand maybe you
00:00:49
do the same thing with your cell phone
00:00:51
when you're looking through images or
00:00:53
through pictures you are actually
00:00:56
scrolling through so after me scrolling
00:00:59
through
00:01:01
excellent very good so again you can
00:01:04
describe this situation by saying I saw
00:01:08
that she was scrolling through the
00:01:10
videos on her tablet
00:01:12
or you could say this
00:01:14
she's debating which movie she should
00:01:19
watch today again she's debating she's
00:01:23
thinking about ah maybe I should watch
00:01:26
this movie ah maybe this movie or maybe
00:01:30
this show she's debating trying to
00:01:33
figure out which option would be the
00:01:37
best option so after me debating
00:01:41
excellent so again you could describe
00:01:45
the situation by saying she's debating
00:01:48
which movie she should watch today
00:01:52
or you could say this the woman is
00:01:55
trying to decide which show she wants to
00:01:59
binge watch today now this is something
00:02:03
that I love again I'll say it binge
00:02:06
watch
00:02:08
excellent now this is a term that we use
00:02:11
binge or binging something for example I
00:02:15
love watching Korean dramas you know
00:02:17
that I speak Korean for my Korean
00:02:19
students and young Isaiah and I love
00:02:22
watching Korean dramas on Netflix maybe
00:02:25
you do too but sometimes I can't hold
00:02:30
back I can't stop myself and instead of
00:02:33
just watching one episode I want to
00:02:35
watch each and every episode in one
00:02:38
sitting while binging that means to
00:02:42
watch everything at one time you sit
00:02:46
down you get some popcorn you get some
00:02:48
food and you watch the show back to back
00:02:52
each episode in English we say binging
00:02:55
or binge watch so again in describing
00:02:58
this situation we could say and you
00:03:01
could say the woman is trying to decide
00:03:04
which show she wants to binge watch
00:03:09
today
00:03:10
makes sense right okay now there's
00:03:12
another way you can describe this same
00:03:15
situation again helping you understand
00:03:18
how you can actually speak like a native
00:03:21
English speaker here we go you could say
00:03:24
none of the movie titles caught her
00:03:29
attention now say this again
00:03:32
caught her attention now this is an
00:03:36
expression that we as native English
00:03:38
speakers use all the time and if you
00:03:41
want to sound like a native English
00:03:42
speaker you need to also start using
00:03:45
this expression so what does it mean
00:03:47
caught her attention to catch someone's
00:03:52
attention for example right now
00:03:54
I have your attention hey yeah you're
00:03:57
watching me right you're listening to
00:03:59
this lesson you're watching this lesson
00:04:01
right so I have your attention but I
00:04:04
have to make sure the lesson is
00:04:06
interesting right and informative in
00:04:09
order to catch and hold your attention
00:04:13
so catching someone's attention meaning
00:04:16
it means to have something interesting
00:04:19
present something interesting that holds
00:04:23
someone's attention that causes someone
00:04:25
to be interested in it right so none of
00:04:30
the movies she kept scrolling through
00:04:32
because they weren't catching her
00:04:34
attention make sense all right now watch
00:04:37
this the same situation you can also say
00:04:41
she finally found a show that looked
00:04:47
intriguing after me looked intriguing
00:04:52
yes very good now intriguing just means
00:04:56
something that's
00:04:57
wow very interesting
00:05:00
I think I want to know just a little bit
00:05:04
more about this that's what intriguing
00:05:07
means it causes you to be interested to
00:05:11
want to know more about it so as the
00:05:14
woman was going through and scrolling
00:05:17
through the movie titles she finally
00:05:20
found a show that looked intriguing so
00:05:24
that first situation now you can
00:05:27
describe it using five sentences five
00:05:30
example sentences that native English
00:05:32
speakers use in real life so you can
00:05:35
speak English the right way but what
00:05:37
about this situation this is a different
00:05:39
situation we have a young man here and
00:05:42
if we wanted to speak English and
00:05:45
describe this the right way we could say
00:05:48
the young man was contemplating his next
00:05:53
move again the young man was
00:05:56
contemplating
00:05:59
thinking about thinking deeply trying to
00:06:02
decide his next move again look at the
00:06:05
video look at the situation he's
00:06:07
thinking hard his hands are moving what
00:06:11
should I do next the young man was
00:06:13
contemplating his next move
00:06:16
what about this though we could also say
00:06:19
ah he couldn't make up his mind about
00:06:23
the job offer remember we're talking
00:06:25
about speaking English the right way
00:06:27
like a native English speaker and for
00:06:30
this situation you could also say he
00:06:33
couldn't make up his mind about the job
00:06:35
offer now
00:06:37
the expression make up your mind it
00:06:40
literally just refers to making a
00:06:44
decision
00:06:45
making a choice choosing something
00:06:48
saying hey
00:06:50
I got this this is my decision I'm done
00:06:52
making up your mind imagine
00:06:55
okay you all know that I love good food
00:06:58
right imagine you go to a Mexican
00:07:00
restaurant we all my Mexican students
00:07:03
you know I love Mexican food and you
00:07:06
walk into the restaurant and there are
00:07:08
so many different options things look so
00:07:10
good they're burritos they're tacos and
00:07:13
you just can't choose one you just can't
00:07:16
make up your mind because you want
00:07:19
everything
00:07:20
you caught it right again make up your
00:07:23
mind just means to make a decision or to
00:07:26
make a choice to choose something and
00:07:28
that's what we're saying about this
00:07:30
individual he can't make up his mind we
00:07:33
can also say this though
00:07:35
ah he was feeling a bit overwhelmed
00:07:39
because he had so many options he was
00:07:43
feeling a bit overwhelmed again a little
00:07:46
stressed right you you're a little bit
00:07:49
overwhelmed
00:07:51
I I can't figure out what what to do I I
00:07:54
don't know if I should go left or go
00:07:56
right I'm a little stressed I it's too
00:07:59
much for me I am
00:08:01
overwhelmed when things feel like
00:08:04
they're too much for you to handle when
00:08:07
you feel stressed you can say I feel a
00:08:10
bit overwhelmed again an expression and
00:08:14
words that native English speakers use
00:08:16
speaking English the right way so you
00:08:19
can say he was feeling a bit overwhelmed
00:08:22
or you could say this
00:08:24
his boss told him that it was a pressing
00:08:28
matter so he was trying to figure out
00:08:32
the best solution now
00:08:35
this is a very important expression that
00:08:38
native English speakers use right
00:08:40
pressing matter I want you to imagine
00:08:42
this right if you're watching this uh I
00:08:45
want to show you visually if you're
00:08:47
listening to it don't worry follow along
00:08:48
imagine your hands
00:08:51
putting them together and then pushing
00:08:54
you're literally pressing against each
00:08:56
other right the top hand and the bottom
00:08:58
hand right right and the left hand are
00:09:00
pressing against each other right so
00:09:04
when we say a pressing matter it means
00:09:07
something that is putting pressure on
00:09:10
you or on the company or on your team
00:09:13
something that is super important
00:09:17
meaning hey we have to stop everything
00:09:19
else because this is the most important
00:09:21
it's putting pressure on us we have to
00:09:24
get it done there's a deadline it's
00:09:26
super important there's a pressing
00:09:28
matter again putting pressure on you on
00:09:33
your team or on your company in English
00:09:35
we say a pressing matter hey
00:09:38
listen this is a pressing matter so I
00:09:41
need you to stop everything else that
00:09:43
you're doing makes sense all right so
00:09:45
again looking at this situation his boss
00:09:49
told him that it was a pressing matter
00:09:52
look at this individual look at his eyes
00:09:54
look at his hands it's like he's really
00:09:57
trying to figure out a solution makes
00:10:01
sense now there's another way you can
00:10:04
describe this situation in English you
00:10:06
could say
00:10:07
I could see that he was racking his
00:10:11
brain trying to figure out what caused
00:10:15
the problem now racking his brain again
00:10:18
this is just this is an idiom and it
00:10:21
just means really thinking deeply
00:10:23
thinking hard trying to find a solution
00:10:26
you're really focused okay wait a minute
00:10:29
if I do this this will happen Okay but
00:10:31
if I do that this will happen and again
00:10:34
you're trying to figure something out
00:10:36
trying to find a solution in English we
00:10:40
say you are racking your brain
00:10:44
makes sense right so again this
00:10:46
individual he is trying to figure
00:10:48
something out we can say he's racking
00:10:51
his brain thinking very hard thinking
00:10:54
very deeply trying to figure something
00:10:57
out now what about this situation again
00:11:01
learning how to speak English the right
00:11:03
way Situation Number Three we have two
00:11:07
young men they look like they're in
00:11:08
their 20s and they are just jumping
00:11:11
looking like they're having a wonderful
00:11:13
time jumping in the water but how can
00:11:15
you speak English the right way about
00:11:18
the situation well first you could say
00:11:21
the ice cold water sent chills up his
00:11:25
spine when he jumped in now another
00:11:29
expression we use all the time in
00:11:31
English sending chills up your spine now
00:11:35
your spine refers to your backbone right
00:11:37
your back the spine right and I want you
00:11:40
to imagine something something scares
00:11:43
you right and you feel like the hairs on
00:11:46
your body kind of Bing right or all of a
00:11:49
sudden you feel like these chills going
00:11:51
through your body when you get scared or
00:11:54
when something happens that shocks you
00:11:56
right we say it sends chills up your
00:11:59
spine like
00:12:00
that sudden feeling so when these young
00:12:03
men jumped into the water and they
00:12:06
realized it was ice cold all of a sudden
00:12:08
it was like
00:12:10
oh my goodness the water is freezing it
00:12:14
sent chills up his spine but what about
00:12:18
this we can describe the situation like
00:12:19
this the two boys wanted to cool off so
00:12:24
they jumped right into the water now
00:12:27
cooling off that just means oh
00:12:30
oh my goodness you're feeling hot and
00:12:33
because you're hot you want to cool down
00:12:37
or cool off and in this situation the
00:12:41
boys want to cool off hey it's hot
00:12:43
outside it's summertime let's jump into
00:12:47
the water and we can cool off we won't
00:12:50
be hot anymore or we could say this
00:12:54
they jumped in as if they didn't have a
00:12:58
care in the world now having a care in
00:13:02
the world it means hey everything's okay
00:13:06
I'm not worried about a thing so when
00:13:09
someone doesn't have a care in the world
00:13:11
it just means they aren't worried about
00:13:14
anything so if someone says hey how are
00:13:18
you how have you been you can say you
00:13:20
know what
00:13:21
I don't have a care in the world
00:13:23
everything is gravy you remember that
00:13:26
one that slang everything is gravy just
00:13:28
means everything's good so we can say
00:13:31
the same thing about these individuals
00:13:33
these young men jumping into the water
00:13:36
or we could say he let out a loud shriek
00:13:40
as he jumped into the water now a shriek
00:13:44
is just allowed like a scream right like
00:13:46
ah right a little loud for you don't
00:13:50
worry you can say shriek shriek just
00:13:52
means a scream again you're speaking
00:13:55
English and using the right way using
00:13:58
English the right way right describing
00:14:00
this situation you could also say this
00:14:03
the boys realized how strong the current
00:14:07
was when they jumped into the water now
00:14:11
the current right when we say the
00:14:14
current I want you to imagine not
00:14:16
jumping into a swimming pool right but
00:14:18
remember in the situation the boys were
00:14:20
jumping literally into what looks like a
00:14:24
river right and when they jumped into
00:14:26
the river when you have natural bodies
00:14:28
of water underneath the waters moving
00:14:30
look at the water if you're watching
00:14:32
this the water is moving even before
00:14:34
they jumped in the water was turning
00:14:37
right that's because underneath the
00:14:40
water is pushing forward or backward
00:14:43
again we refer to that movement as the
00:14:46
current the flow of the water right in
00:14:50
English we say the current and sometimes
00:14:53
the current can be nice and slow not too
00:14:57
strong while other times it can be
00:14:59
extremely strong and it can push you and
00:15:03
force you to move a certain way so again
00:15:05
the boys realized how strong the current
00:15:09
was when they jumped into the water
00:15:14
we see the current was extremely strong
00:15:16
but what about this situation this
00:15:18
situation is also very interesting look
00:15:21
at this beautiful couple now again in
00:15:24
trying to speak English the right way
00:15:27
how would a native English speaker
00:15:28
describe the situation well first we
00:15:32
would say the two lovebirds looked
00:15:36
amazing on their wedding day now love
00:15:40
birds after me love birds
00:15:43
yes good I love it now we just say a
00:15:47
couple that's extremely in love we call
00:15:50
them love birds very simple right maybe
00:15:53
you and your husband or you and your
00:15:55
wife or you and your girlfriend or you
00:15:56
and your boyfriend your lovebirds ooh
00:15:58
you absolutely love him right we'd say
00:16:02
you are love birds so to describe the
00:16:05
situation we would say the two lovebirds
00:16:08
looked amazing on their wedding day or
00:16:11
we could say this
00:16:13
they looked like two peas in a pot now
00:16:18
this is an idiom two peas in a pot think
00:16:20
about the food we have green peas in
00:16:23
America and I'm sure you might have it
00:16:25
in your country as well and peas come in
00:16:28
what's called a pod they're next to each
00:16:31
other and they're grouped together right
00:16:33
so when we say two individuals look like
00:16:35
two peas in a pot it means they look
00:16:38
like they are mint
00:16:40
to be together two peas in a pot just
00:16:44
like this man and this woman they look
00:16:46
like two peas in a pod or we could
00:16:49
describe the situation like this his
00:16:51
love for her was written all over his
00:16:56
face oh you could tell how much this man
00:16:59
loved her it was written all over his
00:17:03
face another idiom that just means by
00:17:05
looking at you I can tell oh I can tell
00:17:09
how you feel by looking at you because
00:17:12
your facial expression says it all
00:17:15
his love for her was written all over
00:17:18
his face or you could say
00:17:21
listen
00:17:22
no one could deny how much they loved
00:17:26
each other deny deny now this just means
00:17:29
no one could say anything otherwise no
00:17:34
one could say uh-uh nope they don't love
00:17:36
each other no one could deny why because
00:17:38
it was a fact hey
00:17:40
you can't disagree with this deny no
00:17:43
that's not true you can't disagree with
00:17:46
this they love each other look at them
00:17:49
they're so in love no one could disagree
00:17:53
with no one could deny how much they
00:17:56
loved each other and finally what about
00:17:58
this if you're describing the situation
00:17:59
using English the right way they gazed
00:18:04
longingly into each other's eyes oh
00:18:09
gazed longingly I'm gonna show you what
00:18:12
this looks like and again I'll explain
00:18:13
it for those listening to the audio
00:18:15
version
00:18:16
gazing means to look at someone
00:18:20
or to look at something and not look at
00:18:23
anything else for example
00:18:25
right now I'm gazing at you you're
00:18:29
beautiful you are handsome I am looking
00:18:32
at you right now I am gazing right now
00:18:36
gazing longingly it means you're looking
00:18:38
at the individual and there's a sense of
00:18:41
Desire like oh
00:18:43
man
00:18:44
I wish I could be with him or I wish I
00:18:48
could be with that individual gazing
00:18:51
again looking at something for a long
00:18:53
period of time and just staring at it
00:18:55
and then longingly with a sense of
00:18:57
desire and hope gazing longingly makes
00:19:00
sense right so again the man and the
00:19:03
woman they gazed longingly into each
00:19:07
other's eyes now that makes sense right
00:19:10
again you're learning how to speak
00:19:12
English the right way like a native
00:19:15
English speaker but if you have this
00:19:16
situation right here oh I love this a
00:19:19
family eating together smiling it might
00:19:22
be Sunday morning but how can you speak
00:19:25
English the right way about the
00:19:26
situation you can say
00:19:29
they were about to throw down now I want
00:19:34
to teach you a little bit of slang hey
00:19:36
you got to speak like a native English
00:19:37
speaker so again in this situation
00:19:40
they're eating together right they're
00:19:42
making their plates so what does throw
00:19:45
down actually mean well throw down means
00:19:49
you are about to eat your food consume
00:19:53
all of your food and completely eat
00:19:57
everything in front of you it means you
00:19:59
see there's a good meal and you are
00:20:01
about to whoa eat that meal and be happy
00:20:05
you are about to throw down so for
00:20:08
example
00:20:10
on Thanksgiving Day my mom made an
00:20:13
amazing meal delicious so I made my
00:20:16
plate and whoo wee that thing was it
00:20:20
looks good and I said I am about to
00:20:23
throw down meaning I am about to consume
00:20:27
and eat everything on this plate makes
00:20:30
sense right again it's slang but it's
00:20:32
good for you to know here we go so again
00:20:33
they were about to throw down or you
00:20:36
could say this
00:20:38
everyone was looking forward to diving
00:20:42
into the delicious meal
00:20:45
diving into now I want you to think
00:20:47
about swimming right you dive into the
00:20:49
water right when you die you go directly
00:20:52
into the water so when we say dive into
00:20:55
a meal we're saying you are going to be
00:20:58
focused and going directly into that
00:21:01
meal focusing on that meal not anything
00:21:04
else just eating that meal diving into
00:21:07
and again you can tell that they were
00:21:09
about to dive into to go right into the
00:21:13
delicious meal but you could also say
00:21:16
this
00:21:17
the children loved to eat their
00:21:20
grandmother's scrumptious food again
00:21:24
you're learning how to speak English the
00:21:26
right way using the right Expressions
00:21:28
idioms and words and expressions that
00:21:31
English speakers use native English
00:21:33
speakers so what does this word
00:21:36
scrumptious actually mean
00:21:38
scrumptious just means
00:21:41
extremely delicious your mom's food
00:21:45
maybe your dad's food think about your
00:21:48
favorite food just thinking about it
00:21:50
makes your mouth water
00:21:52
scrumptious extremely delicious so the
00:21:56
children love to eat their grandmother's
00:21:59
scrumptious food or you could say this
00:22:01
the little girl said that she was going
00:22:04
to devour all of her food again we're
00:22:08
describing the same situation using
00:22:11
English the right way so what does
00:22:13
devour mean devour literally means to
00:22:17
dive in to throw down to consume
00:22:20
everything I am about to devour this
00:22:25
cake I'm about to eat each and every
00:22:28
part of this cake in English we say
00:22:31
devour
00:22:33
excellent so again describing this they
00:22:36
were going to Devour the food the little
00:22:38
girl was going to devour all of her food
00:22:42
but what about this to describe the
00:22:44
situation you could say the woman was
00:22:47
trying to serve her husband some of the
00:22:52
fruit
00:22:53
to serve her husband now this might be
00:22:57
done in your culture as well whether
00:22:59
woman serves her husband depending on
00:23:01
where you're from many cultures have it
00:23:03
set up to where the woman serves the man
00:23:05
serving just means you prepare something
00:23:08
and you give it to the person you serve
00:23:11
them hey I'll do it for you here you go
00:23:14
right serve someone so again the woman
00:23:17
was trying to serve her husband some of
00:23:21
the fruit now again in today's lesson
00:23:23
you learned how to speak English the
00:23:26
right way about five different
00:23:27
situations I hope you enjoyed the lesson
00:23:30
and I hope to talk to you in the next
00:23:31
one don't forget if you want to receive
00:23:34
my free English newsletter via email
00:23:37
each week three times a week all you
00:23:39
have to do is hit the link right in the
00:23:41
description and I will talk to you in
00:23:44
the next lesson
00:23:46
foreign
00:23:52
you still there
00:23:56
you know what time it is ain't nothing
00:23:58
changed it's Story Time hey I said it's
00:24:03
story time all right so what I want to
00:24:07
do is tell you a story some of you might
00:24:10
know this story it's something that
00:24:11
happened to me when I first went to
00:24:14
South Korea but I'm also going to use
00:24:16
some of the words and expressions that
00:24:18
you learned today so you know that I
00:24:22
love good food right but prior to going
00:24:25
to South Korea I had never tasted any
00:24:29
type of Korean food now I love Korean
00:24:32
food but I didn't know what Korean food
00:24:34
was when I first went to Korea so I
00:24:37
remember Landing in South Korea the
00:24:39
airport was absolutely beautiful right I
00:24:42
got picked up by our representative from
00:24:45
The Institute that I was going to be
00:24:46
working at so we're all in the car in
00:24:49
the van actually driving to the
00:24:51
Institute we're all meeting each each
00:24:53
other we're new missionaries new English
00:24:55
teachers and we were excited right
00:24:58
but we were also quite hungry because it
00:25:00
had been a long flight so we arrived at
00:25:03
The Institute and it was night time so
00:25:04
we just got a snack right we didn't get
00:25:06
a full meal but the next day we woke up
00:25:09
we went through our training right we
00:25:12
went through our training they gave us
00:25:13
breakfast and we were all looking
00:25:16
forward to lunch because we knew lunch
00:25:18
was going to be nice because we were all
00:25:21
super hungry we were going to Devour the
00:25:24
food right we're gonna throw down so
00:25:26
lunch time came and we went to the
00:25:30
cafeteria area and you could tell it was
00:25:33
written all over our faces that we were
00:25:36
looking forward to a good meal so we
00:25:38
walked up to the area where we were
00:25:40
supposed to get our food now remember we
00:25:42
hadn't had Korean food before right we
00:25:45
only knew the food of our individual
00:25:47
countries and many of us were Americans
00:25:49
there were some British individuals and
00:25:51
some South Africans so I remember
00:25:53
walking up to the front of the area with
00:25:55
my plate in my hand
00:25:57
and I saw things that I recognized but I
00:25:59
also saw things that I didn't recognize
00:26:02
and at that point I wasn't necessarily
00:26:04
ready to try something new because I was
00:26:06
starving right so I said okay let me get
00:26:09
the things that I know so I got
00:26:10
different things that I knew and then I
00:26:13
saw what I thought was pasta I said oh
00:26:18
yes I am about to throw down so I loaded
00:26:23
my plate with what I thought was pasta
00:26:25
right I put it on my plate and then I
00:26:27
added some other vegetables and some
00:26:29
other things that they had there so I
00:26:31
sat down at the table with the other
00:26:33
missionaries and other English teachers
00:26:35
that had come and you know we said
00:26:36
prayer I'm a Christian and we said
00:26:38
prayer and I mean literally my mouth was
00:26:40
watering so I took my fork and I started
00:26:43
eating some of the vegetables everything
00:26:44
was seasoned very well Koreans can cook
00:26:46
really well and then I said oh baby oh
00:26:50
baby
00:26:52
this pasta because it had this special
00:26:54
sauce on it so I took my fork and I
00:26:58
stuck it into the pasta and I said wait
00:26:59
man this pasta is a little bit thicker
00:27:02
than I'm used to I said but it's okay
00:27:04
I'm hungry and I stuck it in what I
00:27:07
thought was pasta and I put it in my
00:27:09
mouth and I started chewing I said
00:27:11
um no
00:27:13
I didn't say it out loud but I said this
00:27:17
is not pasta you see in actuality it was
00:27:20
the Pokey right
00:27:22
um the Pokey is
00:27:24
rice cake basically it's kind of like
00:27:27
rice cake it's like a rice that is put
00:27:29
in a certain form right and it's
00:27:30
extremely chewy now just to explain
00:27:33
Americans in general we are not used to
00:27:37
extremely chewy things on our dinner
00:27:40
plates we have of course candy but there
00:27:43
aren't too many things in our food
00:27:46
categories that include chewy food right
00:27:49
they're cute chewy right they're not
00:27:51
really chewy
00:27:52
and I didn't want to offend anyone so I
00:27:55
continued to eat it I didn't spit it out
00:27:57
but I said I was talking to myself I
00:27:59
said what I won't be doing is eating any
00:28:01
more of this this is not pasta I thought
00:28:04
it was pasta but it wasn't
00:28:06
so I said I won't be eating this again
00:28:09
fast forward
00:28:11
10 years four years three years
00:28:13
the Pokey became one of my favorite
00:28:15
Korean dishes in the beginning because
00:28:18
it was something that I was not familiar
00:28:20
with I thought it was pasta and it
00:28:23
wasn't
00:28:24
but because it was something I wasn't
00:28:26
familiar with I said no I don't want it
00:28:28
anymore but living in Korea for almost
00:28:31
10 years and eating it more and more all
00:28:35
of a sudden it started to become one of
00:28:37
my favorite Korean dishes what's the
00:28:40
message
00:28:41
as you're learning English sometimes
00:28:44
you're going to learn something or see
00:28:46
something that you think is too
00:28:47
difficult too hard and you don't want to
00:28:49
keep going
00:28:50
don't stop keep moving forward keep
00:28:54
trying keep reviewing keep studying and
00:28:57
what will happen to you will be the same
00:28:59
thing that happened to me not only will
00:29:02
you start liking what you're learning
00:29:04
your English will improve and you'll be
00:29:06
much better than you were before hope
00:29:08
you enjoyed this story and maybe you
00:29:10
also tried something some type of food
00:29:12
that you weren't I not really fond of in
00:29:14
the beginning but in the end you loved
00:29:15
it let us know in the comments section
00:29:17
I'll talk to you in the next lesson
