00:00:04
okay so hi everybody and welcome to
00:00:06
another episode of Oscar love dollars
00:00:08
today I'm going to show you how to make
00:00:11
some male accessories using rucksack
00:00:23
you
00:00:26
okay so welcome back guys and if like me
00:00:31
you spend a lot of time on the internet
00:00:33
researching stuff looking up deer and
00:00:36
looking for inspiration you know that
00:00:38
kind of thing and this videos for you I
00:00:42
was looking on military-first website
00:00:46
and came across a product very very
00:00:48
similar to this on there it was marketed
00:00:55
by Maxpedition as a Molly Molly
00:01:01
attachment was designed to do if you can
00:01:04
see the marks I can't get you if I pick
00:01:08
up Molly loop on my rucksack got a
00:01:11
d-ring down and gives yourself an
00:01:16
additional so a hanging point on your
00:01:18
rucksack you see that yes yes so it
00:01:22
bring gives you this extra dew point
00:01:24
what eats wagon off so that it doesn't
00:01:26
actually go through the mile loop itself
00:01:27
under stress and I've made these using
00:01:33
all kinds of little bits and bobs
00:01:34
polymer go through the entire process
00:01:36
and I'll bring you back hopefully this
00:01:39
might give somebody some projects to do
00:01:41
going this what done we've got a minute
00:01:44
so yeah I'll there show you what
00:01:48
illusion alright so I just bring you
00:01:52
back for this little bit this is an old
00:01:54
rucksack and that I used to use to go
00:01:58
for workers stuff like that Bob repaired
00:02:03
it a number of times you'll see online
00:02:06
yeah you know with gaffer tape and God
00:02:09
knows what and it's just falling apart
00:02:11
so it's become sort of useless and as a
00:02:17
backpack but obviously it's got a lot of
00:02:19
attachments on it
00:02:20
that will come in really really handy
00:02:22
yeah so yeah you've got the buckles
00:02:25
you've got the cable tie DS
00:02:30
this side you've got the d-rings again
00:02:37
you got the chest sternum strap what all
00:02:42
that I still functional you see it's
00:02:45
just beyond repair now oh yeah a lot of
00:02:48
the Molly strapping as well but you know
00:02:50
the webbing so yeah one window is in a
00:02:53
butcher this rucksack and get all the
00:02:57
bits of it that I need and show you how
00:03:01
I made them tea rings okay so what I'm
00:03:04
after as a minute is this Deering
00:03:08
now if you look I've got probably about
00:03:11
four inches of webbing back and liberate
00:03:14
from here but I'm not gonna be able to
00:03:15
do all the stitching here so I'm gonna
00:03:19
snip across there walk it and then snip
00:03:24
from the loop there and then obviously
00:03:26
I've got this retaining clip and no four
00:03:30
inches a month maybe five inches maybe
00:03:33
and then again I'm going to snip here
00:03:36
because it's a double stitch triple
00:03:40
stitch whatever remove the d-ring and
00:03:43
then see if I can pick the rest of the
00:03:46
webbing down that but then you can see
00:03:49
there's a webbing all over the rucksack
00:03:52
so I've got plenty to harvest but this
00:03:55
is what I'm focusing on today so thick
00:03:58
you see this I told you these are my
00:04:04
wife's would you believe me
00:04:07
or would you figure you're mine okay so
00:04:11
that's what I was after the d-ring saw
00:04:15
harvested yeah so I'm going to get this
00:04:18
little bit as well where are we with it
00:04:22
so Jeff cross viewing down on it then
00:04:30
that gives me a short length of Webby
00:04:35
that's to pass what needs I need a
00:04:37
little bit more webbing to make water so
00:04:39
I throw another loose bit
00:05:02
yeah yeah just get rid of this for a
00:05:06
second all right so that's one of the
00:05:08
finished products so I'm just gonna show
00:05:11
you how I make that but obviously just a
00:05:15
standard earring that I've just
00:05:16
harvested okay and then it's gonna be a
00:05:19
length of webbing all right come back
00:05:23
through and then I'm just going to run a
00:05:25
line of hot glue just underneath there
00:05:28
and that will hold that and create that
00:05:30
okay then with this extra link what I've
00:05:37
used an additional part of webbing as
00:05:41
well is an old scouting badge okay
00:05:47
that's the blue bit you can see just in
00:05:49
there and then I creates the T piece and
00:05:52
that's just perfect with to block it
00:05:57
from coming through the Molly answer yep
00:06:01
and then that then obviously I'll fold
00:06:03
that back over snip a little bit and
00:06:07
then we hot glue just there and then
00:06:10
another bit of webbing going around okay
00:06:14
so we'll do all that all right so our
00:06:18
next step obviously put your d-ring in
00:06:21
position all over to where you think you
00:06:24
want it that's about right there you
00:06:28
just come back on yourself there and
00:06:29
then on glue here then um squeeze the
00:06:34
trigger on my global nice blob and then
00:06:50
just fall over
00:06:55
all the imposition for a second and then
00:07:05
look so that's the first step done so
00:07:11
we've now got a d-ring on the end of a
00:07:13
bit of webbing there's still enough room
00:07:15
in there for it to walk it around there
00:07:18
what I'm thinking of doing is just
00:07:19
running the line of stitches across here
00:07:21
as well just to reinforce it yeah but
00:07:24
I'm not gonna do that in this video
00:07:27
right next bit I'm gonna roughly measure
00:07:31
using the d-ring and we're in City
00:07:35
through and Molly and then measure the
00:07:37
drop now on these ones it was literally
00:07:40
just a budge yeah
00:07:44
budge it a bit so presumably I'm gonna
00:07:48
be same again for the drop pop that
00:07:54
somewhere there so a blob of glue on the
00:08:00
back of the bench
00:08:18
yes or roughly somewhere about there
00:08:30
again just hold pressure in place okay
00:08:44
so I thought our recording and I want
00:08:45
and what basically all I've done now is
00:08:49
I put a blob of glue on the front of the
00:08:53
batch so in like the darker green area I
00:08:59
have a side and then just folded the
00:09:03
molle webbing over so he's there and
00:09:07
then I've just snipped the excess off
00:09:10
there okay what I did on this part I'll
00:09:14
just show you on this lot of scrap bit
00:09:16
now is I just running lighting across
00:09:18
neaten up any loose threads and cause
00:09:21
the singe effect just needing any job
00:09:24
there that's it so that's where without
00:09:28
a present yeah so the next step is
00:09:32
getting another length of your webbing
00:09:36
okay and then so I imagine this would be
00:09:39
the back so this would be the front so
00:09:43
working out roughly where the back is
00:09:46
lining up so that it forms rubber in its
00:09:51
entirety I'll get and then back over all
00:09:59
right and then this is going to be the
00:10:01
excess on this bit so yet again that
00:10:06
just provides the thickness stop it from
00:10:08
dropping through the moly loop and you
00:10:12
can even wrap it around again if you
00:10:14
like you know you don't have to snip
00:10:16
bits off oh yeah and then we're gonna
00:10:19
glue all that in
00:10:21
as it is there so we'll do that now all
00:10:27
right so what we do now is I'm just
00:10:29
going to run the glue gun and cover the
00:10:31
entirety of the badge on the back on
00:10:42
there okay and then get more webbing I'm
00:10:54
just going to stick straight up lining
00:10:58
up as neatly as you can don't worry
00:11:02
about the excess glue when it dries it's
00:11:05
just easy to snip off okay so that's
00:11:10
that bit now so all I need to do now is
00:11:14
rot it and do the same on this side so
00:11:17
I've got you know just enough to cover
00:11:20
and then just bend around the corner
00:11:23
just to give me a better seal on this
00:11:25
side
00:11:43
anybody else think the Taiwan the
00:11:45
concentrate was it just me so now see
00:11:53
where you reach this on right over again
00:11:57
track you could square as possible again
00:12:01
not worrying about the excess glue
00:12:03
pressing into place again like the
00:12:16
excess glue will just pick off about me
00:12:18
from there as well but yet now all I
00:12:21
need to do is just a little bit come
00:12:24
round rock and snips they're going down
00:12:27
and then just seal there and I've got a
00:12:31
little bit webbing just should I need it
00:12:33
so again just about there before I glue
00:12:39
it I'm just going to run light up the
00:12:42
seal and drop a blue on the webbing this
00:12:49
time
00:12:58
I'm just follow up press in a place so
00:13:13
yeah that is one finished tearing or
00:13:18
we'll know Matt the over there and then
00:13:21
this one out talked you through and
00:13:24
obviously we're different accessories
00:13:25
that you find on backpacks you can make
00:13:28
a lot of different things and I showed
00:13:30
you the finished up this was from the
00:13:32
strap I come across you were there so
00:13:34
same idea at the top the badges the
00:13:37
Molly of running around I've just not me
00:13:38
and this one open yet
00:13:40
okay and he comes down and through a
00:13:42
buckle and what are you just one for is
00:13:46
on the back of my broke it you see that
00:13:51
yet so the Brooke it then the carabiners
00:13:54
just go through the little loops like so
00:13:58
and then obviously just clip and hang on
00:14:00
see my backpack you know numerous
00:14:08
different variations of Clips you know
00:14:12
these are food I've made already yeah
00:14:21
how to make it on my accessories so yeah
00:14:26
I hope you've liked this video I hope
00:14:28
it's been easy to follow and I hope it
00:14:31
helps to ease the boredom of being stuck
00:14:33
in the house of the minute and obviously
00:14:36
saves you a feel quit everything on
00:14:39
there is harvested so recycles and
00:14:42
obviously yes so the Scout badges are
00:14:45
obsolete and the webbing you've seen me
00:14:47
cut off an old looks like the d-ring
00:14:50
racemic off an old looks like say we've
00:14:52
they will now use for our brew kit you
00:14:55
know it's all just recycled and I said
00:14:59
that saved me eight pound there on the
00:15:04
Maxpedition tearing and leave a link to
00:15:07
that in the description if you do want
00:15:08
to buy it you know if you are
00:15:10
sometimes like me a bit of a gear snob
00:15:12
em and no you want to get branded stuff
00:15:16
us and that's absolutely fine each
00:15:18
neuron but this is just for people who
00:15:21
want to say we feel quit so yeah I hope
00:15:24

00:15:27
comment below and you know if you find
00:15:30
this useful no is it gonna save me a few
00:15:33
quid is it going to give you additional
00:15:35
Molly onion points all that golf yeah
00:15:38
comment below and if you've not already
00:15:39
please subscribe to the channel for more
00:15:41
