I'm going to dedicate my last day in Dubrovnik to, well, the first half of my day,

to an island that is just ten minutes away from Dubrovnik, which is called 'Lokrum'.

Ferry rides start operating at 9 am, and from 10am on, they depart every half hour,

and they cost $120 kunas.

You can hear it from the Ferry, when it's arriving and it comes from the island.

It's as if the island is alive and it has that sound, it's very impressive.

The island has several places to visit, and one of them is this, which is the monastery.

The benedictine monks dedicated their life to prayer and gardening.

This place was used as a 'Game of Thrones' filming location.

Travelers, the monastery is really beautiful, it's just that they are making some renovations to it,

therefore the garden is a mess,

yet the place is very pretty, and you don't have to pay extra, so come, take some pictures,

Here in Lokrum they also filmed some 'Game of Thrones' scenes,

and there's an exhibit where you can see behind the scenes footage and everything,

The island is uninhabited, and it's full of footpaths to be walked,

I'm arriving to the Royal Fort which is the highest point in the island, and it promises the best view.

Now we're going to the other side of the island to see a couple of beaches, well rocky "beaches",

additionally, the island has its own version of the Dead Sea, dead, deceased, defunct.

This is the Croatian version of the Dead Sea, which is a small interior, salt water lagoon,

it is connected to the sea, and that's why it's like the Dead Sea,

although it's not that you can float like in the Dead Sea, but that it has salt water.
