foggy morning and we're gonna have the00:00:16
sunlight shining through so i hope you00:00:18

fluid acrylics on a 16 by 20 inch00:00:22
stretched canvas and of course remember00:00:24

all right so we've already got a bit of00:00:37
a mess here going with our colors but00:00:39
we're going to be using titanium white00:00:41
cerulean blue00:00:42
cadmium orange00:00:44
prussian blue00:00:45
we've got some00:00:47
primary cyan00:00:48
and then carbon black and everything's00:00:50
starting to run here and that's just00:00:51
those golden fluid acrylics00:00:54
all right so i'm going to take some00:00:55
white00:00:56
i'm using a half inch filbert brush00:01:00
flat brush will work00:01:02
whatever works best for you00:01:04
maybe some00:01:07
blocking in some larger areas i'm going00:01:09
to take some cadbury and some white00:01:12
cadbury orange i'm sorry and some white00:01:16
we're going to start with just a light00:01:18
light peachy color00:01:25
using cross hatches00:01:27
making x00:01:28

getting some of that on there in the00:01:33
center00:01:34

love that upper half though00:01:54

so it's going to appear closer to the00:11:19

pressure in blue and black00:17:19

might see the paint strokes00:17:36
because it's harder to cover a really00:17:40
richly saturated color like this there's00:17:42
a lot of blue00:17:45
when we get darker some of those lines00:17:46
will show so we might have to put00:17:48
another layer on some of this and as00:17:50
well as some other areas but00:17:52

just trying to get that as even as i can00:18:11

now we're gonna have one more ridge00:18:14
coming through here00:18:18

we want to be00:18:24
close to this color00:18:48

let's grab some white00:19:36
picking up some weight we got00:19:38

now watch that lighter color00:21:08
now you see how that lighter color00:21:10
separates these two ridges00:21:12
might look like fog00:21:13
but now we're getting that really draws00:21:17
that that ridge right here closer it00:21:19
adds depth perception between these two00:21:22
it's still the same color ridges00:21:24
but we've got this gradient of a lighter00:21:26
color and that just separates those00:21:28
really makes it pop00:21:34
just continue filling in this color down00:21:36

and i want to let this dry00:21:49

i think we can work on a couple spots00:21:54
just finish with this part here00:21:57

harder down low here and you can see00:24:05
that creates that gradient00:24:07
that nice blend from00:24:09
this color to this color00:24:24
beautiful so that just gets that part00:24:26
started okay so let's do it with this00:24:28

now we needed some00:24:34
primary cyan in that00:24:37
so we've got a little bit here we can00:24:39
pick up all right00:24:42
and00:24:46
give it a test that's going to be too00:24:48

i'm going to dip my finger in water00:24:52
tap it on the palette we're going to00:24:54
pick up some of that water grab some00:24:56
prussian blue00:25:00
making it a pretty good shade darker00:25:05
still too00:25:07
still too light00:25:08
go even darker00:25:11
and let's try to00:25:13
get some of that off of there just00:25:14
rubbing it off00:25:21
there now we're in the zone00:25:40
got some lines so i'm gonna brush my00:25:42
finger kind of sideways see if we can't00:25:44
get rid of some of that00:25:45
worked a little00:25:46
but again we'll have to00:25:51
beating the brush there on the00:25:53
palette00:25:56
trying to get a more00:26:00
even spread of paint on the brush that00:26:02

help a little00:26:06

not bad we'll cover up some of this00:26:35

do it again with this ridge back here00:26:39

and squeeze out some of the water00:26:52

really smooth textured canvas you don't00:29:50

so really you just use the brush not00:31:04

these colors in the sky00:44:08
just applying that color reapplying the00:44:11
color and then just smoothing it out00:44:13
with my fingers just trying to get a00:44:14
nice even blend from these oranges to00:44:17
the blues00:44:18
and uh00:44:19
i did the same with some of these ridges00:44:21
just lightening some of these colors00:44:23
saturating some of these colors00:44:26
shading some more areas especially i00:44:28
shaded the edges00:44:29
which brings the focus kind of to the00:44:32
center which is what we want00:44:34

intricate with this you've got to take00:45:54

a lot of small texture on there we want00:45:57

getting it on there00:46:26

these black trees to be in the00:46:37

and it's going to take00:46:40
a little while because again00:46:43
i want to be very particular with these00:46:45
branches but there's nothing tricky to00:46:46

it's just using this round brush just00:46:50
getting that black paint on there00:46:56
so i'm going to continue doing this00:46:58
adding a couple more trees and then00:47:00
we'll be finished00:47:03

This feature is available in the UDL Helper extension. Make sure that "Show the video snapshot button" is checked in the settings. A camera icon should appear in the lower right corner of the player to the left of the "Settings" icon. When you click on it, the current frame from the video will be saved to your computer in JPEG format.
