for quite a long time which um again

indicates that this is one of their high

believed were unreachable um that the

they want uh they want the Israelis and

Americans to guess which missile uh

which missile capability it was and um

the the suspicion the um the supposition

is that this is an Iranian three 3 58 um

which is a um a loitering it's it's part

loitering drone part cruise missile part

uh anti-aircraft system that was

interestingly first discovered by the

United States Navy um during um during

the naval blockade of Yemen in the Gulf

of Aden in

2019 um a a ship was um was interdicted

uh US Navy forces went on board and

found the missile parts for this weapon

that they call the Iranian 358 they saw

the parts of the weapon that they

believed were some kind of a cruise

missile uh the missile wasn't assembled

so they were um looking at the parts and

they they're talking about the US Navy

called it a unique um a unique system

that behaves like a cruise

missile um the central um the head of

the United States Central Command called

it a uniquely Iranian designed jet

powered uh missile we missile that is

effective and unique and the Israeli uh

the exd director of the Israeli missile

defense organization um responsible for

Israel's missile defense array um called

it an effective unique and um a uniquely

effective uh weapon that is a threat to

Israel's air superiority he wrote that

back in 2019 when they started to be

worried about this system which is

that was captured in the 2006 War um

and it was going to be seen in combat

and that's the missile that we saw the

anti-tank guided missile the Almas um

that I did a couple segments on over the

last few months um because they revealed

that weapon so Hezbollah in this case

hasn't revealed uh what weapon uh is

being used but as uh We've also reported

um this is not the first uh Flagship

drone to be downed um ansar alah has

been able to down um at least two mq9

Reaper drones of the United States um

and they believe the US believes it was

Israeli analysts have have been trying

to figure out if the Israeli air defense

systems are bringing down um these

Iranian 358 missiles the Iranians call

it a soccer now that it's been

acknowledged to exist but in 2019 when

it was found um they hadn't admitted

that the uh that the weapon existed so

the Americans found the weapon that

we're seeing down this drone presumably

found it in Parts um which also

indicates U something about the Iranian

and these drones are murderous drones um

that have killed hundreds and hundreds

of people um and are now being downed on

show us um two weeks ago when uh or a

few weeks ago uh when a Hermes 4500 part

drones um was downed uh Hezbollah didn't
