Description:

I built this Split top roubo style woodworking bench out of affordable lumber from the home center. The benchcrafted tail vise and leg vise were not so affordable but definitely worth the investment. This work bench is solid, heavy and great for hand tool woodworking. I used the benchcrafted plans as a guide but had to change some dimensions since i used dimensional southern yellow pine from the home center. I also used Popular woodworking magazine's issue #191 for a guide to cut the dovetails or condor tails as they call them. In this video, I laminate the legs and top, make the end cap and dovetails and install the benchcrafted tail vise. I hop you enjoy the build and please consider subscribing so you don't miss part 2!
