00:00:02
joint video,
00:00:03
John Connor will start, and I’ll dream
00:00:05
a little later. By the way, unsubscribe
00:00:08
if you like this format element. Greetings,
00:00:10
dear friends, in touch, John Connor,
00:00:12
let’s continue to figure out what
00:00:14
bronze decorated guns are, for starters,
00:00:17
I want to show our observation regarding
00:00:19
artillery, even with the help history cannons
00:00:22
are trying to rewrite history something
00:00:25
was added something was erased
00:00:26
let's look at the place for example these
00:00:29
cannons that are located in
00:00:30
St. Petersburg the Old Church Slavonic text on them
00:00:33
was not originally cast
00:00:35
but was minted on the initially smooth
00:00:38
cannon this is clearly visible the letters of the text do not
00:00:41
stick out beyond the limits of the outer diameter of the
00:00:43
gun and the letters were obtained by choosing
00:00:47
metal around the letters and here in what
00:00:50
was initially removed and erased in these collapses
00:00:53
what was there to determine is already
00:00:56
quite difficult,
00:00:57
we have a proverb who once collected who will
00:01:00
believe you
00:01:01
and now let's look at a few
00:01:03
new facts about the mysterious artillery
00:01:06
of the past 1 material
00:01:09
it turned out that bronze is a special alloy and the
00:01:12
peculiarity of bronze is that it does not
00:01:14
expand when heated or
00:01:16
cooled, in other words, bronze is not
00:01:18
just an alloy with a random content of
00:01:20
tin and copper; bronze is an alloy
00:01:23
developed specifically for some
00:01:25
purpose; we still have to
00:01:28
figure out exactly how they are second form and technical
00:01:31
device in the last video we
00:01:33
told you that ancient cannons
00:01:34
were bimetallic, there was steel inside and
00:01:37
bronze outside, but that’s not all
00:01:39
subscribers sent photos of a
00:01:41
device resembling a cannon,
00:01:43
this device had decoration and
00:01:46
resembled a cannon in its structure, the
00:01:48
device had two diameters inside, a
00:01:51
larger diameter the inside itself
00:01:53
then the diameter decreased in this figure
00:01:56
I show you the internal structure of
00:01:58
the device until the end it was not known whether
00:02:01
it was a cannon or not because the
00:02:04
small dimensions of the product were confusing, a little more than
00:02:06
20 centimeters and the outer diameter was about
00:02:09
20 millimeters in total
00:02:11
the hint was given by the novel the author of the channel
00:02:13
global question examining
00:02:15
the Azov-Mozdok fortification
00:02:18
he discovered an old cannon with the same
00:02:20
muzzle, the question naturally arises: if
00:02:23
these are artillery systems,
00:02:25
why reduce the caliber at the
00:02:28
output and how they were supposed to fire from them, it
00:02:30
is logical that the cannonball will get
00:02:32
stuck behind the edges of the protrusion and the cannon
00:02:34
can generally be torn apart by the devil, the
00:02:36
third so-called bump on the cannons
00:02:40
perhaps the thickening migrated from
00:02:42
older treasury charging guns in which the breech
00:02:45
was unscrewed, we unscrewed
00:02:47
its part was called Vin Gordon
00:02:50
fourth lugs for attaching something, there
00:02:53
were assumptions that these lugs were
00:02:55
intended for attaching a sight, but it
00:02:57
turned out that a locking device was attached to these lugs,
00:02:59
presumably the
00:03:02
ignition hole,
00:03:03
similar to the device they are now used for
00:03:06
closing doors and hanging a lock,
00:03:09
let's think about the diameter of the ignition
00:03:11
hole is quite large, about 10
00:03:13
millimeters, the strength of bronze is low,
00:03:16
I think when fired, there is a high probability
00:03:18
that this locking bronze
00:03:20
bolt would be torn off from its fastening points,
00:03:22
I would like to immediately add that such staples
00:03:25
are not found on all guns, but on some
00:03:27
on other guns managed perfectly well
00:03:29
without bronze valves fifth point
00:03:32
the original purpose of Pavel Konov
00:03:34
the author and presenter of the channel then the base clone in
00:03:37
books about water supply was found by the following
00:03:39
water reconnaissance specialists
00:03:41
who could determine by taste, color and smell
00:03:44
whether the water was suitable for drinking
00:03:46
were gunners and you and waters and archers are
00:03:49
quite strange isn’t it that
00:03:51
artillery officers and soldiers
00:03:53
are engaged in water supply systems
00:03:56
because this is not their profile of
00:03:58
activity, or rather not their profile at all, we
00:04:00
read further in the 17th century it was the Pushkar
00:04:03
order that was in charge of the water supply of all Russian
00:04:06
fortresses, it also kept accurate technical
00:04:09
reporting on to many sources and water
00:04:12
structures, the sixth
00:04:13
etymology of the word cannon is the ancient
00:04:16
verb let go and the modern analogue
00:04:19
let go and in English
00:04:21
there is such a verb push with a translation there
00:04:24
5 or press the words mortar which
00:04:28
seems to be related to artillery in
00:04:30
English means mortar but and finally 7
00:04:33
ancient poems collection of
00:04:35
poems for 1815 there are the following
00:04:39
lines if roses, waging a bloody war,
00:04:41
smashed enemies from the copper muzzles of his
00:04:44
Peruns loud fame he was not you or
00:04:46
acquired another fragment dedicated to
00:04:49
Catherine the Second Peruns put off for a long time,
00:04:51
sparing the blood and she shed and he
00:04:54
wanted to
00:04:55
ward them off with meekness from evil advice in these lines
00:04:58
a certain Perun is mentioned
00:05:00
and is mentioned as a weapon, and in
00:05:02
these passages you can replace Peruns with
00:05:04
cannons if cannons are meant as
00:05:07
weapons of war, of course, you probably also
00:05:09
noticed that the poem
00:05:11
says copper vents, what is meant here,
00:05:13
why are they copper, bronze copper
00:05:16
cannons in the 19th century let's try
00:05:19
to replace the Peruns with cannons, have them with bronze, since they waged a
00:05:22
bloody war, smashed
00:05:24
enemies from the bronze muzzles of
00:05:26
their own cannons, thunder q, he did not gain fame from you,
00:05:29
or he acquired another fragment of the cannon
00:05:32
for a long time, the jelly was deposited and the blood she shed,
00:05:35
and he wanted to ward them off with meekness from evil advice
00:05:38
as we have seen, it is possible to replace words
00:05:40
without losing rhyme with in the original
00:05:42
version the author for some reason used
00:05:44
the term Perun and copper vents Perun the son of
00:05:47
Svarog and Lada born on the wildest
00:05:49
night under the light of lightning rolling thunder
00:05:51
Perun and he himself was the most unstoppable among the
00:05:53
gods violent furious passionate he is
00:05:56
primordial power that knows no boundaries
00:05:58
Perun Slovenian thunder god
00:06:01
that is, ultimately we are talking about
00:06:03
lightning emitted by copper veins,
00:06:06
what kind of weapon do you think emits
00:06:08
lightning does the author of the poem write, or is
00:06:11
it all a metaphor, let me read
00:06:14
one more fragment, I assure you only this
00:06:16
one fragment crosses everything out the
00:06:18
official story that we all know, the
00:06:20
valiant heroes took off after
00:06:22
hearing and the goddesses of the eyes flow, they strive for
00:06:25
ours and the heat does not hold them, the filth does not hold their
00:06:28
hearts, jealousy owns them and the fear of
00:06:31
touching and does not dare burn among the enemies, the
00:06:34
Russian regiments raced through the
00:06:37
fields
00:06:38
about [ __ ] and the African fleet reached
00:06:40
the shores here it is said about the valiant
00:06:43
heroes who took off,
00:06:45
did something from which the enemy began to glow,
00:06:48
that is, to burn, it also says that
00:06:50
strong Russian regiments rushed through the Thracian field
00:06:53
and the African fleet reached the shores of the judge,
00:06:56
everything within the meaning of the poem, the heroes
00:06:58
took off and we are taking off either
00:07:01
aviation or missiles I don’t understand
00:07:04
the fragment about the African fleet that reached the
00:07:05
shores of
00:07:06
which fleet of Africa and whose shores it
00:07:09
reached, write your guesses friends
00:07:12
further with conclusions, I give the floor to Eugene,
00:07:16
summing up the following
00:07:19
conclusions can be drawn bronze was specially
00:07:20
designed as a metal that does not expand
00:07:23
when heated, initially the words of the Pushkari guns
00:07:26
had relation to plumbing and
00:07:28
water supply, the guns were structurally
00:07:30
made of steel and bronze, which is extremely
00:07:32
difficult to do even today;
00:07:34
such complexity just for firing
00:07:37
cannonballs was clearly unnecessary and the guns had a
00:07:39
smaller caliber at the exit from the barrel,
00:07:41
which makes these devices unsuitable
00:07:43
for firing cannonballs. I would also like to add
00:07:46
It should be noted that with the output caliber
00:07:48
no longer allowing the gun to be used as a
00:07:49
cylinder of a heat engine or as a cylinder
00:07:52
for pumping air or liquid,
00:07:54
since it is not entirely clear how to insert a
00:07:56
piston into such a cylinder as a weapon, the
00:07:58
poem mentions a device
00:08:00
called Peru by us, and according to
00:08:02
Slavic mythology, Perun was the god
00:08:04
of thunder and the lord of lightning,
00:08:06
from here we can conclude that the
00:08:08
Peruns could be weapons working
00:08:10
on the physical principle, perhaps the
00:08:12
same Peruns that could have been
00:08:14
distributed and as weapons around the
00:08:16
world were the cause of numerous
00:08:17
fires in cities of the 19th century, and these same Peruns we
00:08:21
or their analogues destroyed cities and
00:08:23
fortresses, rubble, it is not known for certain
00:08:25
what the Peruns looked like,
00:08:26
as well as the cannons, or in a completely different way
00:08:29
we return to our bronze
00:08:31
decorated cannons since this
00:08:33
product cannot be used as a
00:08:34
military weapon and as a cylinder of a heat
00:08:36
engine, based on the totality of features we can
00:08:39
make the assumption that it was bronze
00:08:41
decorated guns could be
00:08:42
specialized mills for
00:08:44
extracting ore of valuable and rare metals; the
00:08:46
steel body inside was intended
00:08:48
to prevent abrasion;
00:08:50
and the bronze body outside was
00:08:52
intended to remove heat or to
00:08:54
prevent radiation if
00:08:56
radioactive ore was ground in them; it
00:08:58
prevented
00:08:59
precipitation in balls and ore, the
00:09:01
pilot hole was intended for
00:09:03
spills from crushed ore,
00:09:04
and a bronze valve closed the hole
00:09:06
during the rotation of the mill cannon and
00:09:09
prevented spills from crushed
00:09:11
ore. Naturally, the question arises: why did they
00:09:13
decorate their ball mills for
00:09:15
grinding ore in such a way?
00:09:16
Perhaps the answer is that they
00:09:18
loved their craft and made everything
00:09:20
beautiful, let it be noted that the ball
00:09:22
mill served for a long time and could be decorated
00:09:25
for aesthetics about the leader, I want to show
00:09:27
you an old book that indicates the
00:09:30
annual volume supplied
00:09:32
from just one
00:09:33
iron iron from a Polish plant, personally, the
00:09:36
indicated volumes amount I derp
00:09:37
turned out to be too large for
00:09:40
combat operations, the total number of cores from
00:09:42
one plant is over three hundred thirty-
00:09:44
eight thousand pieces with a total weight of 400 22
00:09:47
tons, those who were especially attentive noticed that
00:09:49
we are talking about 1633,
00:09:51
before it was 7140 the first summer, let's
00:09:56
look at the production volume in more
00:09:57
detail, the entire production of cores was 422
00:10:01
tons per year in order to
00:10:03
produce such an amount of iron you need
00:10:04
about 10 times more ore,
00:10:06
that is, it was necessary to extract and
00:10:08
bring to the plant 4220 tons of ore per year,
00:10:12
that’s 11 12 only ore per day, and you also
00:10:16
needed coal or charcoal or
00:10:19
coke, also limestone or chalk
00:10:21
is obtained for the plant,
00:10:23
about 20-25 tons of
00:10:26
raw materials were prepared and delivered daily, if you work seven days a week and without
00:10:29
downtime, it turns out that
00:10:32
927 leaders were produced per day, which is equal to 38-39 cores per
00:10:37
hour, if the production worked in three
00:10:39
shifts, it is
00:10:40
also interesting that the cores were not cast, but
00:10:42
I forged I can’t even imagine how
00:10:44
labor-intensive and time-consuming it was to
00:10:46
forge spherical jagers; in order to
00:10:48
shoot cannonballs, the core needs to
00:10:50
be an
00:10:51
ideal spherical shape. I
00:10:53
already talked about this in my previous videos,
00:10:55
what size were the furnaces for smelting
00:10:57
ore into cast iron? We also needed other
00:11:00
furnaces for reworking cast iron iron what
00:11:03
was the number of furnaces to obtain the
00:11:05
specified volume of metal back in the
00:11:07
distant year of shovels in 1633 how many
00:11:10
auxiliary materials and tools were needed
00:11:11
for forging I der blades of the
00:11:14
RK crowbars carts horseshoes hammers anvils
00:11:17
and tongs pliers and so on in the end we
00:11:20
get a whole metallurgical plant
00:11:21
of its time, and historians tell us
00:11:23
only in bast mosaics and
00:11:25
dugouts, the finished products were sent
00:11:28
from the Siberian plant by river, if they
00:11:30
were sent every shipping month and there are
00:11:33
about seven months a year, then
00:11:34
it turns out 60 tons of iron cores per
00:11:37
month + packaging boxes or something this
00:11:40
means the total weight of the cargo was even
00:11:42
greater, and therefore back in 1633 there were
00:11:45
large river ships with a good
00:11:47
carrying capacity long before
00:11:49
official history allowed
00:11:52
us to use ships in quotes in
00:11:54
order to navigate the ancient
00:11:55
weight measures: a pound weighs 16 kilograms and a
00:11:58
ten-kopeck piece 0 41 kilogram, I calculated
00:12:01
the diameter of each kernel and am
00:12:03
sharing with you the diameter of the lightest
00:12:05
kernel weighing 1 kopeck, which is
00:12:07
zero point forty-one kilograms, was
00:12:09
forty-seven and seven millimeters, and the
00:12:12
largest kernel weighing put and 30 kopecks,
00:12:14
which is equal to 28. 68 kilograms, the diameter of
00:12:18
the core was one hundred and ninety-six and
00:12:20
seven tenths of millimeters, up to a large
00:12:22
caliber, they were made in quantities of 500
00:12:24
pieces, and the address for the smallest calibers was
00:12:26
to be produced in quantities of 100 thousand
00:12:28
pieces, in approximately the same volumes,
00:12:30
I made a hole for ball mills,
00:12:32
today at first glance it seems that those
00:12:34
indicated in the book the smallest cores with a
00:12:36
diameter of 47 millimeters
00:12:37
could not be effective balls for
00:12:39
smearing ore in ball
00:12:41
mill cannons since the diameter of their barrel did not
00:12:43
exceed 200 millimeters, but if
00:12:45
balls of smaller sizes were produced at another plant,
00:12:47
then a cannon with a caliber of 200
00:12:50
millimeters could well be a ball
00:12:52
mill Naturally, there are other
00:12:54
versions that we are happy to wait for in
00:12:56
the comments, for example, subscribers sent an interesting
00:12:58
book in which a telescope is indicated that are very
00:13:01
similar to the length of a barrel gun.
00:13:05
We don’t know whether they were originally telescopes for barrel guns, but if they were
00:13:07
once optical instruments, then they were
00:13:09
remade into military weapons
00:13:10
either in the dashing 19th century or museum
00:13:13
workers did not
00:13:15
fully understand what it was and identified these
00:13:17
devices as guns,
00:13:19
thank you for watching, if you
00:13:22
liked the video, give it a thumbs up,
00:13:23
subscribe to my channel,
00:13:26
follow the link in the description
00:13:28
John Conor's channel John Conor
00:13:30
was a man of mystery for a long time, no one saw or
00:13:32
heard of him, it was known what he
00:13:35
did except travel and what
00:13:37
country he lived in, there were rumors that John Conor was
00:13:39
on the page, but now John Conor has come out
00:13:42
of the shadows, it turned out that he is his own guys live in
00:13:44
Moscow, John Conor opened his own channel in
00:13:46
which each film is a separate
00:13:48
study of a separate country and another
00:13:50
bonus for those who watched to the end
00:13:51
decided to dwell in more detail on the
00:13:53
wings for the ignition hole, if
00:13:56
we shoot from a cannon, then this ignition
00:13:58
hole is usually set on fire with a smoldering
00:13:59
wick from a long pole
00:14:01
and after setting fire, we tried to
00:14:03
move as far away from the cannon as possible because the cannon booms loudly
00:14:06
when suppressed, it can be scary to bleed from the ears
00:14:09
and the task is that the cannon along with the carriage
00:14:12
rolls back and this cannon can
00:14:14
run over the gunner with its wheels, the cannon can
00:14:16
be torn apart, and so on, and here it turns out
00:14:19
after igniting the gunpowder in the fuse we
00:14:20
need to have time to close the valve with our hands
00:14:23
and fix it, for example
00:14:25
with a wedge, it turns out that an artilleryman or
00:14:28
two artillerymen need to stand next to the
00:14:30
cannon and carry out all these operations,

the question is whether it is possible to have time to do these

actions to escape to a safe

distance before the gunpowder explodes,
00:14:37
I personally think that this valve rubs the

artilleryman’s fingers, sets the gun carriage and
00:14:41
the task and rollback to the edge of the forest due to the explosion
00:14:45
of gunpowder, the artillerymen will stun him, and
00:14:47
maybe even due to the pressure difference, blood will bleed
