8 января в актовом зале Свято-Успенской Святогорской Лавры ребята воскресной школы лаврского скита «Всех скорбящих Радость» села Богородичное в качестве поздравления с Рождеством Христовым представили сценку, посвящённую умению радоваться. Зрителей ожидала хорошо разыгранная сценка ― театрализованный вариант известной повести «Полианна» американской детской писательницы-романистки Элеаноры Ходгман Портер (1868–1920 гг.). Сюжет этой книги ― об одной маленькой девочке, которая своим появлением в небольшом городке, где жила её родная тётя, за короткое время изменила жизнь всех его жителей, начиная со своей строгой и педантичной родственницы. Её необычная «игра в радость», которой девочку научил играть покойный отец, привлекала сердца людей и преобразила жизнь тех, кто окружал девочку. Несмотря на юный возраст, начинающие актёры показали мастерство в передаче задуманных образов, чему также помогали подготовленные к выступлению костюмы. Надо отметить и хорошую память юных дарований ― заучены большие тексты, диалоги между героями длились без запинки, вообще вся игра шла очень слажено и интересно.
