to take my diagnostic tool plug it in

see if we can pull up any codes see what

the codes relate to and then try

clearing them from the cars memory

sometimes it gets stuck in there and

that's why the light just won't go out

so let's try that and see if we have any

switch and I want to look at the fuse

board so let's take a look at the switch

first make sure it's all seated

correctly there's nothing obvious here

first of all I need to get this stick

out the way we need to just remove this

trim panel and then I'll get the switch

out there we have all the switches just

unseat that just check all of those

wires and connectors look okay still go

the dash light on so it's not the switch

unless the switch is faulty itself so

let's carry on and have a look at the

so we're down in the footwell of the

four five six this is where all the fuse

going to take that out and have a quick

I can't see anything obvious inside

there it doesn't look like there's any

corrosion or bad joints but you can

never tell with these things I will see

thirty five a pretty short it's not but

if it is I'd always try to change those

between the cars quick look at the

wiring so the last video I left off

and just verify everything was working

someone had a much better solution

instead of doing that I have a perfectly

suspension system so instead of doing

that we're going to take each one from

the four five six plug it into the three

five five because it's really easy and

just check everything is still working

when it's in this car so we're in the

the hand brake line which I did at that

work area but we'll leave that our

toilet anyway we're gonna test the suspension

so that is my sport mode the suspension

we get everything in there okay so that

is three by five working we are now

going to change over those actuators one

by one and see if it works in the three

by five that's the first one plugged in

that okay as you can see we have our

first potential suspect this is a four

five six actuator in the feet by five

we've got the light on so it looks like

we've got a faulty at least one let's go

and check the others now it's time to

test the back actuators I've got the car

jacked up you don't even need to remove

the wheel so I'll show you the access

panel and how you access those two rear

actuators okay so if i zoom in here

square one you can see by the size to my

hand it's not a big one and that's half

the problem it makes really no

difference if you remove the wheel or

we're gonna take the four screws off

this and then get in there okay so

that's the panel removed as you can see

there's very little access here if I put

tank to remove the actuator like I say

the hardest part is a little clip around

the base of it so we're gonna try and do

test it the other part with the COG you

want to check is that little bottom bit

where they kind of come together and

cause the stop that can also break off

check that well the easiest way of doing

that is to use a cheap endoscope like

in the corner there there's no access so

the clip is in the wrong place it's just

sat at the bottom it's not in the little

channel it needs to be so we need to

move that up so you need to be very

careful how this clip goes in because it

needs to hold the actuator down in place

and there we go it's nicely set in the

channel now we are back on the work

it's caused a load of problems it's

shown the suspension error on the dash

be doing is we're going to test the

motor in this to see if it spins the way

we're going to need to do that is

there's two pins out of the six on here

that we need to touch and they are the

blue and the brown one here so it's the

lower two pins opposite this kind of

connector housing at the top here so

got our cables connected to the two pins

clockwise we know I'm going to is

working in this actuator so that's some

there on the end positive thanks to it

that says it anti-clockwise reversing

motor is definitely functioning in both

directions to say the next thing to look

a lot of moving in here so typically

what happens is there is a little

plastic bracket around this center part

and that snaps now these like I say 900

with back for one of these so there is

super super expensive we know that is

functioning it looks just like the

plastic inside has broken it's very
00:14:52
difficult to see a cleansing

anyway real true way is to kind of cut

it and have a good look inside there's a

company in America that make a CNC kind

of metal part to go inside there I know

used to be available I'm gonna do some

mine and shipping it over to these guys

to get my rebuilt I finished checking

all of the four actuators from the four

five six plugging them into the three

failing actuator so next I'm going to

take a good one from the 355 plug it in
