http://nctv.in.ua/ Наша розповідь -- про цю знахідку, і про людину, що її знайшла -- талановитого археолога Бориса Мозолевського, забутого невдячними нащадками. 40 років тому, 21 червня 1971 року саме він, руками розгрібаючи глину на долівці, відкрив світу скіфську золоту пектораль. Борис Миколайович Мозолевський народився 1936 року в селянській родині на Миколаївщині. Його батько загинув під час війни, тому родина Мозолевських у післявоєнні роки жила у скруті. Борис опинився серед вихованців Одеської спецшколи військово-повітряних сил, а потім вступив до військово-морського авіаційного училища в м. Єйськ. Микита Хрущов почав скорочувати радянські збройні сили, тому Бориса Мозолевського в достроково демобілізували -- кар'єра військового не склалася. Майбутній археолог переїхав до Києва і майже 10 років працював кочегаром, заочно навчаючись в Київському університеті, потім працює редактором у видавництві «Наукова думка», весь цей час пишучі вірші. До 30 років він і не мріяв про кар'єру археолога, але поступово, дослідження скіфської давнини стає головною справою його життя. В 1969 році він очолює Орджонікідзевську археологічну експедицію, яка досліджувала кургани в районі річок Солоної, Базавлук, Чортомлик.
