Até que ponto você enxerga o racismo que existe no Brasil? Para chamar atenção para o problema, mesmo quando ele aparece disfarçado, o Governo do Paraná lançou uma belíssima campanha em parceria com a Assessoria Especial da Juventude e o Conselho Estadual de Promoção da Igualdade Racial: “Teste de Imagem”, criada pela Master Comunicação. Assista. Segundo dados do IBGE, 82,6% dos negros afirmam que a cor da pele influencia nas oportunidades de trabalho. Uma realidade que se confirma em outros números: profissionais negros ganham em média 36% menos que os brancos, ocupam apenas 18% dos cargos de chefia e são 60,6% dos desempregados. Entre os fatores que mais contribuem para essas estatísticas está o "Racismo Institucional", problema que se manifesta quando instituições públicas ou privadas atuam de forma diferenciada em relação a uma pessoa por conta da sua origem étnica, cor ou cultura, privando-a de oportunidades profissionais e sociais diariamente. Na campanha do Governo do Paraná (veja mais em contraracismo.pr.gov.br), profissionais de Recursos Humanos foram convidados para um experimento real: primeiro eles foram separados em dois grupos. Depois, um mediador mostrou ao primeiro grupo imagens de pessoas brancas em situações comuns do dia-a-dia. Já o segundo grupo viu imagens com situações idênticas, mas com pessoas negras. O resultado foi alarmante: a grande maioria das respostas dos profissionais de RH do segundo grupo colocou os negros em posição social inferior à dos brancos, muitas vezes os descrevendo de maneira pejorativa. Isso que mostra que, mesmo sem perceber, muita gente ainda comete atos de racismo. É preciso mudar essa realidade.
