Il V-Twin di 60° raffreddato a liquido con valvole a fasatura variabile, distribuzione bialbero a 4 valvole per cilindro non rinuncia alla cura maniacale per i dettagli, e infatti vanta due contralberi per annullare le vibrazioni, uno nel basamento e uno nella testa anteriore, coperchi delle teste e carter in magnesio, ma applica anche soluzioni ad hoc: i profili dell'albero a camme e la fasatura delle valvole sono pensati specificatamente per il modello: i pistoni hanno sagomatura diversa, le testate hanno valvole più piccole.
