Raj Kumar is a painter by trade, but unable to earn a living, and unable to pay rent to his kind-hearted but foul-mouthed landlady, Mrs. D'sa. One day Raj finds a wallet with money and returns it to the owner Ramnath who admires Raj and employs him to work in his office as a clerk. Raj meets with Ramnath's maidservant Asha and soon both fall in love. Raj’s time changes when Mrs. D'sa suddenly passes away and the police conduct a post-mortem, and as a result, find out that Mrs. D'sa was poisoned. Raj is taken in for questioning, and is subsequently arrested and imprisoned. But has he killed her? Watch the movie.
