Here's a nice lil Doom gem i dug out today. THE OBSESSED with an unreleased basement demo from April 1985. I'm pretty sure that this demo was the forerunner of their LP they recorded in 1985 (where it sat until it was released by Hellhound records in 1990). This demo was recorded in Chris Koslowski's studio basement in Potomac, Maryland. Mr Koslowski has also recorded & done live sound for countless heavy bands like Melvins, Unorthodox & heaps more. Most of the tracks on here, appeared on The Obsessed's debut LP, but these are stripped down versions & played slightly slower than on the LP. 9 tracks, 34 minutes. Restored & remastered from a pretty beat-up tape that's over 2 decades old
