Záznam přednášky z cyklu Pátečníci, která proběhla živě s publikem 25. 11. 2022 na téma: Verlindeho gravitace. Gravitace je jedinou silou, která působí na všechna tělesa a částice bez výjimky. Nejúspěšnější teorií popisující gravitaci je Einsteinova obecná relativita. V roce 2009 se nizozemský fyzik Erik Verlinde pokusil gravitaci vysvětlit jako statistické projevy mikrosvěta. Nakolik je jeho teorie životaschopná? V čem se její předpovědi liší od obecné relativity? Může se stát prostředníkem ke spojení světa gravitace se světem kvant? Přednáší: Prof. RNDr. PetrKulhanek, CSc., narodil se v roce 1959, vystudoval matematickou fyziku na MFF UK. V roce 2005 se stal profesorem aplikované fyziky na FEL ČVUT v Praze. Je členem redakčních rad 4 fyzikálních časopisů (Československý časopis pro fyziku, Astropis, Vesmír, Aldebaran Bulletin), členem Mezinárodní astronomické unie, České astronomické společnosti. Je zakladatelem a prezidentem sdružení Aldebaran Group for Astrophysics. V roce 2010 získal cenu Littera Astronomica. Zabývá se numerickými simulacemi ve fyzice plazmatu a teorií plazmatu.
