Мы знаем о той войне по рассказам ветеранов, книгам воспоминаний, художественным фильмам и, конечно же, по песням. «День Победы», «Катюша», «Темная ночь», «Журавли», сотни других песен о войне любимы во всем мире и исполняются не только на русском, но и на многих иностранных языках. В год 75-летия Победы во Второй мировой войне стартует Международный марафон «Песни Великой Победы». С 1 по 7 мая 2020 г. будут приниматься видеопослания для марафона «Песни Великой Победы» от всех желающих. 8 и 9 мая 2020 г. пройдет открытая онлайн-трансляция Международного марафона «Песни Великой Победы» в десятках стран мира с включением в г. Берлине и г. Москве.
