Состав группы: Александр Морозов – композитор, художественный руководитель Александр Назаров – бас-гитара, аранжировка Виктор Салтыков – вокал Николай Каблуков – гитара Михаил Менакер – клавишные инструменты Александр Дроник – драм-машина, перкуссия Группа «Форум». Состав формировался из ранее распавшейся группы под названием «Форвард», в который входили Алексей Фадеев (гитара, бас, вокал), Владимир Ермолин (гитара, вокал), Александр Назаров (бас, банджо), Ирина Комарова (скрипка, бас, вокал) и Борис Богданов (ударные). Первое выступление состоялось в феврале 1984 года в чешском городе Соколов на фестивале «Рок за мир». Песня «Ты меня понимаешь», написанная Фадеевым, была названа одной из лучших. После этого группа ещё несколько месяцев давала концерты в Советском Союзе и к июлю практически полностью расформировалась – Фадеев, Ермолин, Комарова и Богданов уехали в Калининград и основали там новую группу под названием «Старт». Оставшиеся в Ленинграде басист Александр Назаров и звукорежиссёр Лазарь Ана-стасиади решили воссоздать группу снова. Центральной фигурой второго набора стал певец Виктор Салтыков, который в мае 1984 года в составе группы «Мануфактура» был назван лучшим вокалистом II фестиваля Ленинградского рок-клуба. Кроме того, к ним присоединились гитаристы Николай Каблуков и Юрий Стиханов, Михаил Менакер (клавишные) и Дмитрий Евдомаха (Ударные) Вечером 7 Сентября 1984 года в Анапе состоялся первый концерт группы. После гастролей по черноморью из группы уходит ударник Евдомаха, на его место приходит Александр Дроник (Драм машина, перкуссия) с одним из самых крутых на тот момент драм модулем "SIMMONS" который совмещался с драм машиной "ROLAND" TR-909 В ноябре после гастролей по Молдавии уходит и гитарист Стиханов, предпочитая более тяжёлую музыку, он перешёл в группу Гуннара Грапса. А с 12 по 16 Ноября были сделаны первые студийные записи дебютного альбома "Белая ночь" и уже в Декабре (Первое издание) начало свое распространение. P.S В 1985 году альбом был уже слегка переделан, и только в 1987-1988 выпущен на (LP)
